  • awesome

  • We all know that CS and N did the original. And, by adding the great voice of Mike Finnigan as the forth part it is legendary. However, Jimmy's version is very nice. No need to compare the two. Enjoy them both. And if you feel compelled to comment on the CSN version listen to it for hours at a time or until you are tired of it and turn it off and listen to another tune. On and off switches are funny that way.

  • Parrott Heads. Well Alright. Southern Cross is a great song.

  • i been listenin to jimmy for years always helps my mood

  • Fins UPPPPPPPPP

  • Awesome!

  • YUK. Gross improv on the guitar solo. Really sick man. Pleeeease dont make me vomit all over myself.

  • He does a great rendition of this song. But I wish everyone who covers this song would stop speeding it up into a party tune.

  • sounds great, this is live ,wenkers

  • Why shouldn't he perform this? It's one of his best songs.

  • because he doesnt sound good on it and its csn.

  • i agree - this is pretty bad

  • i have eminem and buffett in my cd player... i'm silly like that

  • lmao

  • I have seen 27 Buffet shows dating back to 1975. Tomorrows show is better than yesterdays...........

  • Long time Buffett Fan, but more of an actual historian to Marley. Bristow was my first concert EVER!!! At age 31, I took the 400 plus mile drive to the Labor Day Weekend Show last Septemeber to my 1st concert ever. However, if Bob had remained alive today...well...I think ya know how that would of went.

  • well i have videos of that show 2008 show on here. Check em out. though they are not as good as the other ons i have because i had a different camera with me, but still worth a look if it was your first.

  • Nahhhh..not a patch on the CSN version. Sorry, Jimmy; and I didn't get roped into going to Margaritaville in Cozumel either!

  • Love you Jimmy!!!!!Seen you tons of times!!!!

  • its the same thing with brown eyed girl, its not the original, but its much better than the original. at least in my opinion.

  • jeasus leave the guy alone! its about the song not the singer! if you were sittin round a fire and someone sang this song you wouldnt start critisising them would you! Get a life! (sory about spelling) im looking at the southern cross!!!

  • In other words, don't blame Buffet for this song sucking. Blame the drummer.

  • Too much drum.

  • He stinks on this rendition. I can't listen to this.

  • Horrible cover. Buffet tries to be Stills?

    FAIL!

  • @oat57

have you heard stills trying to be stills lately? live is harder than studio- especially 40 years later.

  • bigpayden56 listen to Hopebane,....this beautiful song was raped and buitchered by that hack buffett

  • Butchered

  • this is better than the original

  • Good cover, can't touch the original but good,

  • I prefer the one on the album "Buffett Live- Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays". Even as a Parrothead myself, I have to say this one isn't all that good. Its not a good representation of Jimmy Buffett, if you want to buy it off of iTunes or something, do it.

  • maybe the Tuesdays Thursdays Saturdays verison is better (i haven't heard it yet), but you'd have to admit this version is better than the one from the Fenway Park album. I like them both, but i think this one was better.

  • This isn't too bad...

I just prefer the CSN to this, any day.

  • Heard this via CSNY - but Buffett so much better !!!

  • I was at this show! hes so good at Bristow!

  • EXCELLENT cover!

    Better than CSN original.

    IMHO.

  • This sucks! Doesn't hold a candle to CSN.

  • crosby stills and nash version is alot better

  • Has anyone actually seen a picture of the Southern Cross? It ran in the 1974 Americas Cup so there must be pictures out there.

  • This song actually is about the constellation. The song gives several areas in which this famous constellation can be seen. As for the Americas Cup...I have not been able to find a pic.

  • Reading through the lyrics it seems to all be about the ship though."on a boat goin' to southern islands", "Sailing a reach before a followin' sea",:We got eighty feet of the waterline","In a noisy bar in Avalon I tried to call you "(Avalon is an island off LA), "So I'm sailing for tomorrow", "And my love is an anchor tied to you"."I have my ship and all her flags are a-flyin'". It really sounds like its about the ship more than the stars.

  • You are correct, well sort of. The boat is David Crosby's and is named "Music".

  • But the boat they are singing about was called "The Southern Cross" (actually many boats have been named that for obvious reasons. It sailed the America's cub at the time this song came out. The lyrics of the song certainly point to the ship vs. the star collection.

  • Comment removed

  • Well, looking at the last line of the song "At the Southern Cross." the indication would be that Stills is referring to a place... He was given a song by 'The Curtis Brothers' called "Seven League Boots," He re-wrote a new set of words, a story about a long boat trip he took after his divorce. (paraphrase of his words). The song indicates a number of places that the celestial body can be viewed. Seems the reference is to the constellation, rather than the boat.

  • I was wrong about Crosby's boats name. Crosby owned the Mayan, an 80 foot sailboat. I don't think the song references a boat name. The lyrics "and music is her name" is metaphorical.

  • You're correct. David's boat was the Mayan. Oh, I noticed in another discussion that David (probably) didn't even sing backing vocals on the studio version of this song. He was evidently in the depths of his indulgences. Art Garfunkel and Timothy B. Schmit sang backups. The video of C,S & N performing this is amazing though.

  • But the ship "The Southern Cross" ran the Americans Cup and was based out of San Diego (near LA). Its common to sail out to Avalon for the afternoon(as the song says), etc. It sounds like the song is about that boat to me.

  • I love this song i can play it on the guitar its so friken awesome

  • I think we can all agree on one thing...the original is far superior.

  • you guys are ruining buffett for me and alot of other people arguing this bullshit.. when was the last time you saw a fight at a buffett concert.. NEVVERRRRR so basically this is retarded

  • well i have seen a fight, but it is rare and it was the only one I've seen.

  • Only if its over weed.

  • Jimmy Buffett can only sing one note lol...

    backup singers FTW!

  • ROFL...me again....I just realized I was at this concert!!!

  • Obama or no Obama...I would rather live in the USA than any other place on this little ball of dirt. I did not vote for Obama and I do not care if Jimmy did or not. It's...the music that maters.

  • Love Jimmy, but this one isn't for him. Out of his league here. Great song by Crosby, Stills & Nash.

  • Ok, quick background here...I retired after 20 years in all four brnches of the military. Jimmy Buffet gives me peace of mind, and his version of Sothern Cross gives is deep if you take the time to listen, read the lyrics and look deep at it. By the way, I voted for Obama. Peoplw cry about "seel out", give me a break. Life is grand and you must enjoy it or you will retire at 65, maybe live a few years, then die. I have been to the worse parts of the world, and find joy and happiness with hope.

  • i like you, your cool and thanks for serving the country.

  • No prob, it's a living. Seriously though, find out where you what to live (mountains, beach, city, etc.) then find a job that will support your lifestyle. Everything else is BS. Get a job, get married, a house, white picket fence, 2.5 children, etc. As my grandfather said "Doing what you want is freedom, liking what you do is happiness." Let us all be happy.

  • There are people on this planet who are dying just to have 'a job, get married, a house, etc....' Don't take the freedoms our fathers dreamed of for granted... for they will soon be gone.

  • Tell me of your great insight of ppl dying for the things you talk about. Nothing is taken for granted, ever.Just don't drink the koolaide and swallow every form of BS that you are handed. Chart your own course. Don't be afraid to not be a number, a cog.

  • Spoken like a truly affectionate human being. If you open your eyes, you will see our brothers in this world who are suffering.

I see you have chosen the path of no resistance. Good for you, your judgement will be determined by no one but yourself.

  • After seeing combat in 5 conflicts over 20 years I have seen the suffering and even inflicted it on the enemies of our country. I was a grunt for the longest time, 14 years. I now put things in perspective.

  • I have rebuilt the communities and help tens of thousands of people thoughout the woeld.. With this knowledge and experience, I can judge. People like you, rent movies abouts guys like me, then wish you were me. Alas, you are left with nothing but sitting home watching sports, reliving the glory days of your youth, while waving a flag that you have no idea how many tears and how much blood went into it for YOU.

  • You are very naive and judgemental. Do you even have any idea who you are talking too?Perhaps use discretion if you don't know.

You said that "Everything else is BS. Get a job, get married, a house, white picket fence, 2.5 children, etc.", as if it was nothing to be proud of!! I started on the street with absolutely nothing,I asked for nothing, now I have "this BS job, got married, a house, white picket fence, 2.5 children, etc.".... I am proud of it, and I DON'T take my blessing for granted.

  • REMEMBER... You were the one who implied the middle class was BS... after you used our tax dollars to support those so called people who you helped all over the world!

God bless the American middle class.... without us, there is no USA!!! and I know Jimmy Buffet would agree! (I know....)

  • Read, it is in english. I implied what is BS is the limited dream you have been told is success. Great, you are a legend in your own mind. In your "little" world, you are the king. Stop whinning, and give back. Most of us started with nothing. I guess you would have been one of those in the early days of the church that would not have questioned anything and you would just do as your told. Great!Another sucker that gets thrown a bone once in awhile and will do the man's bidding.

  • LOL... I am glad you are retired... I could hardly imagine how you helped the so called 'thousands of people' with the type of mindset you have. I guess that is why us American's are so loved in this world..

Thank you for finally putting this all into perspective... now go and retire on my tax dollars.

  • Yeah, and now working another gov't gig. Thanks. BTW, I pay taxes, too. Since I am out of the country, doing the gov't thing every month for a few days I can say this with confidence...americans are not so loved as you think. We are even told not to tell anyone we are US citizens. Since I do have some free time once in awhile, I continue to help out the needy in this country, there are a lot of lonely wives who's husband thinks he is living the dream.

  • You are a true American hero... bravo for making our world a better place to live in. The reason us American's are hated in the world... well I guess you summed it up in your postings... arrogance!

BTW... you should look up 'sarcasm' in the dictionary... Then maybe black and white won't be the only colors you see.

  • LOL.....to paraphrase 'cavinthomas73' and tweak him a little....20 or 22 times? THAT ain't NOTHING buddy - I've been going to see JB since 1973.

Of course, his outspoken support for Chairman Obama has pretty much ended any interest I have in paying to see him again. I'm just hoping he's ready to start "sharing the wealth" as Hussein Obama has promised.....LOL...like that's gonna happen!!!

  • For cool Margaritaville bar stools etc., visit Margaritaville site, shop, Key west, furniture

  • Hey Jimmy,

You supported Obama--spread the wealth--I'd love to go fishing on th 42 foot boat you own--also me and my buddies would love to drink for free at your bars and also stay at yhour place in the Keys--spread the wealth

  • obama will take the ship for his national security force lol

  • LOL Thats so true

  • lol you three just keep listening to your NPR

  • wonder how Jimmy feels about spreading the wealth? Like Biden and Obama, I am sure it is only other people's wealth he would like to spread.

  • Oops, I meant Jane Slagsvol (it has been a while) and it turns out that is his current wife so Jimmy can't be all that bad. She really was (is) a sweet girl.

  • I have been a parrott head for many years. This is shit and I would have thrown tomatoes at Jimmy for this performance. He doesn't even try to sing anymore. Jimmy give it up if you are that tired. Don't waste our money.

    Tom Cavin, Atl, Ga.

  • Jimmy can't help it, he is a raging alcoholic.

Remember, to Jimmy it's always 5 o'clock somewhere.

I met his wife (Susan)when she was engaged to Buffet and trust me she must be a saint to have stayed with him as long as she did. I found her to be a really sweet girl.

  • If you HAVE to have a 'gauge' of Buffett's popularity, just check the demographics at his concerts and who buys his music - everyone from teens to people in their 70's.

  • Coloradorum s.t.f.u. , Buffett is no sell out you loser. He can sing to whoever he wants, his music is for all people and it is about a lifestyle and an attitude. He is trying to bring peace into a fucked up world. I am a big fan and definitely no yuppie.

  • yuppie weekend warriors?....trust me, if i could live in key west and live the "parrothead life" i wouldve been there a long time ago. unfortunately, work must be done.....doesnt mean i cant still totally dig jimmy and his mentality

  • INDEED!

  • Buffett is a sell out. Give me the old days when he used to sing to drunks in Key West, not yuppie weekend warriors

  • were u born an asshole?

  • You'd sell out to for 600 million. (His net worth)

  • Geesh...who cares how many albums he's sold, or Zep has sold, or how many concerts he's sold out in 5 minutes, or who plays more shows or who....cares. The dude's a living legend. Seen him 3 times. Last time in Toronto last summer. Front row. Amazing. So, lets all just enjoy the vid, shall we?

  • Three times, wow!!! thats nothing asshole. I have been to 20 to 22 shows and it makes me mad when an artist just goes through the motions to make money. Maybe I'm wrong, but if it's your legacy on the line you keep your integrity as the number one priority.

I suggest all go buy the Refreshments album " Fizz Fuzzy Big and Buzzy", its awesome.

    TC

  • I was praising him. It was sbnewman who claims you can't use concert draw to gauge popularity. Which I disagree with. If he wasn't popular, no one would show up at his shows.

  • Jimmy is awesome. Yes he covers some others songs, but he has also written some great stuff. Pirate Looks at 40, Bama Breeze, He Went to Paris, Fins, Cheesburger, Son of a Son of a Sailor... To say that he has no talent is just unfounded. Sorry your life is so pathetic.

  • Marley who cares, I could name a ton of artists that do that way better. Besides, it doesn't take away that he basically butchers every song that he covers to the point that it sounds like bad karaoke... And the only reason why he's famous is because he sings about drinking and beer, and a bunch of fat, diabetic rednecks and hicks go to his concerts to pretend a life they don't have. Also lol @ clown babies. I'd rather be that than a Parrot Head chanting about how much "Math Sucks" lol

  • Geez, time is slipping by. Jimmy is starting to look like captain Stubing on the Love Boat.

  • This song is epic, and I love the Buffett's just as much as the original.

  • Great version of this song! Thanks for posting it!

  • I love Jimmy. I go every year. IF you are not a fan, why watch his videos?

Just like Howard Stern, the people who hated him on regular radio, listened longer than the people who liked him.

Jimmy plays alot of original stuff, and yes a lot of covers and I enjoy them all.

    Rock on Jimmy!!! FINS UP!!!!

  • I am from Canada..Jimmy Buffett is a legend..great singer and entertainer..and an amazing song writer..nobody can do this song like steven stills..however don't take anything away from Jimmy ..he is a favorite of mine...keep rockin Jimmy..come to Canada soon...love ya

  • i bet your all from the north, you can all suck my dick

  • yea lets all listen to some fallout boy and fuckin slipknot yeaaaa

  • guytar guy suck my dick fucker

  • Exactly... Sorry guys he really does butcher every song he covers... Then again, you can only hear Margaritaville so much... But what else does he have other than a small handful of songs? It kind of speaks volumes when half of an artist's most popular songs are covers.

  • Yeah. I think it speaks volumes how he is the biggest concert draw every year since the Greatful Dead are no more. He is obviously doing something right. 10 million "Parrot Heads" can't be wrong. Rock on Mr. Buffett...

  • I love Buffett, but you can't use concert numbers as a gauge of popularity... he tours more than every other band... so of course his numbers are higher... just like the Dead... they toured a ridiculous schedule every year... if you have double the shows of everyone else, I would hope you could be the biggest draw every year. I love his music, but I hate the whole "parrot head" nonsense. its just kinda gay... you can go to his concerts and have fun without creating a new identity.

  • That's part of what makes a Jimmy Buffett Concert so amazing. It is the atmosphere. Jimmy Buffett is year in year out. I bought a Jack Johnson ticket this year 7 days before the concert. Jimmy buffet sells out in about 10-15 minutes after they go on sell. THAT is popularity.

  • no one is disputing his popularity, but you can't use TOTAL ticket sales as a gauge... because then you assume that the Eagles or Led Zeppelin wouldn't sell out 100 shows if they played that many... and Jack Johnson is far from a good comparison in terms of concert draws...

Buffett's album sales are much lower than other artists, but his live shows are tons of fun.

  • My point is that the demand for his concert tickets are as high if not higher than any other out there today. And this is his third generation. He might not have the album sells but few people have as many fans across as many generations as Jimmy Buffett. I know what you are saying about TOTAL ticket sells but I think there are other arguements to make about Buffett's popularity.

  • You can't use concert numbers as a gaugue of popularity??? Are you insane? If he wasn't popular, he would not have the draw he attains every summer. Besides, he only plays on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays now. Not every day as in the past. And, going to his concerts is an escpae for a lot of people. It makes them happy and let's them forget about their problems, even if for just a couple of hours......

  • why am I not surprised that some fucking idiot doesn't understand. did I ever say he wasn't popular??? you can't use TOTAL concert ticket sales as a gauge because a lot of bands don't tour as much. Jimmy Buffett has higher concert draws than Led Zeppelin, but it doesn't mean he's more popular. the entire point was that you can't use Buffett's concert draws as a simple gauge of popularity just like you can't use album sales. its all relative to what you've done lately and how much you tour.

  • Now I am a fucking idiot?? God, you are soooo smart! In case you didn't catch my sarcasm, I am laying it on pretty thick. Attention everyone, sbnewman's opinion is the only one that counts! You win, I concede. Buffett sucks and so does his music.

  • yes, you are a fucking idiot... because you STILL don't get it. its not about my opinion, its about reality. did I ever say that Buffett sucked or his music was bad? are you mentally retarded? can you READ? I love Jimmy Buffett, I'm just saying, for the third time now... that you can't solely base popularity on concert draws OR album sales... both can be misleading.

  • Rather than ticket sales, let's look at how fast the tickets sell out and how often someone sells out. Then you have album sales. Then you have top 10's and number ones. i don't know why I'm getting involved with this argument. But the fact that his tickets are one of the hardest and he has many gold and platinum albums, makes him damn popular. Now if we're talking musical talent, well, there are many better bands such as Dave Matthews Band. BTW RIP Leroi Moore you will be missed.

  • I agree with you.... Note that I never said he wasn't popular and never said he wasn't good. Its just that you can't compare him to bands who don't tour very often. People say "Buffett is the most popular artist in the US because of concert numbers". that's just not a fair way to tally it. Buffett's popularity is crazy and his concerts are a shitload of fun, as I said before. I actually saw a guy playing Buffett songs in a bar in Germany three weeks ago..

  • wow Germany?! did he do it in english or german?

  • it was all in English. it was awesome. the guy was from Germany, but spoke English very well... and there were a few times where you could note the accent, but for the most part, it wasn't bad at all. a lot of Germans there knew the songs and the lyrics... they even sang along to Margaritaville. it was kind of bizarre, but I heard it from the street in Nuremburg as I walked by, so I went in and the place was packed. the guy did a few Billy Joel songs, too.

  • has anyone ever had so many sell out concerts & have about 5 songs on the radio

  • robo and gaytar99 ---

you both are clown babies. You are running your mouth about a guy and his band that have sold millions of records, have their own sirius station, multiple restaurants, supported many charities. This "cover" artist has over 30 albums and has many gold and platinum records.

But hey, I guess a guy who's tours gross over $40 mill playing "cover" songs speaks volumes about his music...

  • He does cover some others songs, but he has penned may greats. Have you even listened to his lyrics? Sorry your life is so pathetic.

  • YOU ARE INSANE

  • good job

  • it doesn't really matter how he sounds live...everyone is high or drunk and singing along at the top of thier lungs so you cannot hear him anyway.....

  • chill out francis

  • no u

  • Fantastic job!

Loots of hard work but it payed off.

  • I have to partys like this and they are the best friends are what what real familys are made of the bad and the good times its what makes the song of life so good to hear as the wind of time takes us down that long road that we all pay the tolls but at the its just smiles and tears:)

  • im not a parrothead, maybe just a fan of a couple songs of jimmys, but i thought he did a very nice job with this csn song. it seems respectful to me that a guy with a big following and a bunch of hits of his own would honor a GREAT band by doing a cover.

  • There is no bad Jimmy Buffett....it's all good...another bit of trivia...he owns all the Krispy Kream donut shops in Palm Beach county but doesn't feed them to manatees as far as we know...

  • Not even close to being as good as Crosby, Still, and Nashes' version.

  • I beg to differ.

Seeing it and hearing it live blew me away.

  • sorry - but i disagree.......

  • yeah ace, one man can't pull off a 3 part vocal harmony. take it for what it is.

  • csn does it way better. like buffet but prefer csn for this song

  • I see a couple of pics of the Calypso Nuts performing before the show! They are an awesome band that my wife and I love.

  • yeah we were having a good time listening and dancing to them. Can't wait to go back this year. I hope they are in the paring lot again.

  • Great version of this song! Thanks for posting it!

  • hahah he said in a pissy mood for some years! fuckin hilariously awful

  • It sounded a bit feminine, but I couldn't think of a better word at the time (crappy?). These honor students I was teaching EFL to for 2 months didn't have much honor. Speaking of Parrotheads, mentioned in 1021robbie's post, where are more Buffett songs here? I like the ballads the most and wouldn't mind hearing Island, California Promises, Changing Channels, and Middle of the Night. Any song off the "Off to See the Lizard" and "Floridays" albums would be great filmed by any legal means.

  • i know u posted this a year ago but he never plays those songs like ever so don't hold your breathe.

  • Please forgive me guys about all the negativity on my part. I've been in a really pissy mood for some years and ranting a lot. Sorry for bumming y'all out. Hopefully my comments get to the 2nd. 3rd page and beyond soon.

  • i saw him twice in orlando, the city actually paid to fill the parking lot with sand for the pre-concert festivities..... best show ever, and ive seen tons

btw-ya need to relax man, go get some boat drinks and let all that bs melt away.... and nothing is forced on any generation, its music, u take what u want and leave what u dont, its peoples choices, you might as well trash everyones personality that has ever had an opinion.... peace brother, i hope u find it

  • been to more buffett concerts than i can remember. in fact, i can't remember one of them. beer is a bad thing.

  • When Buffet does this song in concert...the crowd goes absolutely wild. It's a perfect match for his style.

  • Spell it right bitch. It's "Buffett."

  • lighten up

That goes against everything that Dr. Jimmy Preaches,Brother.Dr. Jim teaches us tolerance

and love and patience and most of all SPELLING Just remember MATH SUCKS even more Smile what will it matter in 100 years? Reggie

  • Doctor????

  • anyone that could heal my bad attitude has to be a doctor.beside what they said was out of line wasnt it?

  • yes it was...

  • The lifestyle Buffett teaches is the quickest route to the values he is against because his tolerance, love and patience are hollow versions without grace, the understanding of which comes from the Church. Like birth control or hate it, no human institution could hold on so long. The next generation proves the emptiness of his generation, though his generation may have been scandalized by a misbehaving previous generation that had religion. Still, let's be intellectually honest.

  • UH?????????????????? ok, I guess....

  • Liberals don't free themselves or others from anything, esp. shown by those who rip on their Christian faith of birth and/or booze up, smoke who knows what, cuss a lot. It's a childish acting out of subconscious anger.

  • part 2 for djiburtis's reply from me...What's worse is that they forced upon my generation the opposite of that which their religious parents raised them with equal strictness. Believe our dogmas or, you heretics, get a bad grade or you're fired or something like that. The libs with religion forced their interpretations as the enemy within. I'm not sure which is worse.

  • WTF are you talking about?

    All I said was, Doctor????????

And you go off on a tangent that I have no clue what started it.

  • Sorry. I didn't mean to wail on you. It wasn't about you or necessarily to you. It's just this whole "love generation" bull that I hear about Jimmy. I'm not saying he's a bad guy, but this whole happy-face good-times stuff is revealed as a facade. It's like Christians that make church "happy fun time". I don't believe all are truly feeling so good. I'm a miserable a-hole...I admit it--even when I'm feeling good.

  • you are hopelessly confused and caught up in trying to figure it all out is all....takes some time for some folks!

  • I think that Kudos go to Stephen Stills, who has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and who wrote this song (with two others), for it's original owners, Crosby, Stills & Nash. I go see Buffett perform every year, faithfully... as well as CSN, CSNY-- but the originality of this song belongs to it's creator, thank you Stephen Stills.

  • I am not a big fan of Jimmy Buffets music. Last year my friend persuaded me to attend a Jimmy Buffet concert and I am glad I went. It was the funnest concert I have ever been to. From the parties in the parking lot before and after the show and the concert itself, it's a hell of an experience.

  • Personally, and this i coming from a diehard Parrothead, Buffett has better live versions, but the original Studio version by CSNY is still amazing in it's own right.

    But thats just me....

  • any song from Jimmy Buffet is great.thanks friend

  • Buffett does a good job with the song, but CSN's version is still better. Check out the CSN video 1983 - Daylight Again - filmed live in 1982 at L.A.'s Universal Amphitheater, which is posted on YouTube.

  • Still an awesome song! Let's all jump on a sailboat and head for the Southern Cross (constellation visible in Australia/New Zealand/Oceania)

  • Some trivia for you Parrotheads...the Southern Cross is enshrined in the flags of several Pacific nations including Australia and New Zealand. It guided the ancients to Aeotaroa and Gonwandaland for several millenia..

  • Thanks Rob, Now back to chuck with the weather

  • Actually I'm a meteorologist, lol, back to Randall with the weather, lol.

  • lol

  • And another bit of trivia. The US Army 23rd Infantry Division (Americal) shoulder patch is a blue shield with stars of the Southern Cross.

  • um jimmy buffett sounds way better than them. plus he is a way better soul! he has the respect 4 the song that makes it sound great!

  • Jimmy doesent sound as good as CSN or CSNY

  • Thanks for the video! Nissan is a great venue, but the traffic sucks. Route 66 has some of the worst traffic in the country and the parking lot was poorly planned. Nevertheless, once you are there, it is a ton of fun-one of the best venues in the country. By the way, do you think Buffett is a billionaire?

  • Spending the day at a Buffett show is a whole different experence.

The actual show is the orgasm.

    Parrotheads are an extreme lot.

    Gotta love em.

  • Ahhhh.....phlocking in the parking lot of a Buffett concert! I can't think of a better way to spend a day!
