I saw them warm up Kings X when they were on their Out of the Silent Planet Tour. I was completely & utterly blown away. Still the best show I ever saw. 1991 I think ?

this is going to sound like a really out there reason for them not going very far. But its my opinion: The album was produced really bad! Mixed bad etc.. people dont like things they cant make out! could barely hear the vocals on most of the songs.. especially this one... people like to sing along with things not try and make out what hes saying.. thats my take!!

@mattmartian I'll add losing Dane Sonnier was probably another reason why they didn't make it either. Machine Fish was a decent album, but nothing like Space in your Face (SIYF). The solos and guitar work was killer on SIYF, Machine Fish couldn't compare. Nothing against Wally Farkas, but Sonnier was just too good.

Also I don't think the name "Galactic Cowboys" helped either. They could have had a better name.

whhhat a masterpiece!! This band was pure genius!! Got close twice to seeing them live, but both times they had to cancel here in Budapest...

remembering singing in the GC website chat room with american fans while they were touring the states! such fun!
