Ive been trying to get this to work for 4 hours, I have homebrew, i have usb loader gx. It will bring up the list of my games in gx, but every time i pick a game i get a black screen. What in the hell is going on?! What do the settings need to be at?

@freedomisntfree367 what game? are you using WBFS Manager to copy to the usb harddrive? i didn't have much luck when my sdhc usb drive was formatted to fat32 so in turn had to use wbfs manager to format it and to get games to work. hope that helps

hey, everytime i try n use this it says waiting for your slow usb device, and then restarts, is it in the wrong format or just plain too slow?

@Darkxlink364 its in the wrong usb slot most likely :)  when looking at the back of the wii, its the right one :)

@arechikitsune can be any size and also can be a usb harddrive too. the trick is finding a compatible one. i have not tried any others besides my transcend sdhc card and usb adapter it came with.

Need some help with usb loaders. . .when I add some games on and play them they work fine but after I added ore games on and some of the games I put on the hard drive before don't load, it just freezes and or just a black screen as soon as i click load game, Any advice on how to fix this problem?

you have to make a wad file for it from the iso you are playing from. i used Yaulct_1.2 for mine and it works great. just be sure that the iso name you make the wad from is teh same as your using from usb loader

my wii's dvd drive is bad / i removed it. i bought this wii on ebay for $60 and resurrected it via usb loader gx to be usuable.

Bleh, that plain white default Wii theme. You should install the DarkWii theme or somethin. I've already installed 5 Wii games on meh 500gb HD too. Heh. Easy, but USB Loader can be difficult. I just recently found out that I was usin the wrong USB port on meh Wii, one works better than the other, I guess.

actually did not have any need to since i can do all the sweet homebrew things w/4.2.

actually, i did downgrade my cIOS to the USB Loader compatible versions. :)

@hahasofunny110 4.2 IS WAY EASIER i THOUGHT THE SAME WAY AS YOU UNTILL i TRIED 4.1 AND DOWN ARE LIMITED 4.2 YOU CAN DO ANYTHING WITH THE 4.2 MOD PACK ON ANY TORRENT SITE. try it YOU'LL CHANGE WHAT U THINK.4.2 SDHC COMPATIBLE

downgrading can brick your wii if your not careful too!

i use an sdhc w/usb adapter for games and they load up faster than the disc by a good 10 seconds :)

emulators work very well too. just saying..

check my more info on this video section for a quick overview. basically install bootmii and hbc, backup nand, downgrade part of your cIOS, install homebrew via homebrew browser. add a usb hdd and usb loader gx to wii to play backups of your wii games.
