  • boo chris brown u suk

  • upload the hole thing please

  • hello,u prawly never finished school either asshole umm chris brown was raised watching domestic violence in his household this has nothing to do with how smart rhanna is cuz any woman can get beat but chris brown needs the Lord.

  • i dont blame rihanna she never finished school she was a dumb lil girl that was lucky enough to get into the muzic industry! she never finished school so she was desperate for chris!!

  • how do u know she didnt finish school?

  • Sack up Steadman, you've wasted your life with this fat, ugly, racist, childless, lesbian, arrogant old pig. If you had any self respect you would kick the shit out of this old black hippo and go find yourself a real woman while you're still relatively young. You must wake up at night and look over at this big ugly pig laying next to you and just puke. That processed hair, her arrogant demeanor, those ugly black crusty feet. Steadman, do the world a favor and knock out her front teeth.

  • T.I, (going to jail) Chris Brown (awaiting trial), Snoop (aquitted of murder, drug user), who propells a heinous image despite raising a daughter, Ice-T (former pimp) Ice Cube (mysogynist lyrics), Biggie (mysogynist lyrics), Puffy - who's protecting Chris, a violent person against women.

  • A quote from you, "It is "men" like him who NAG, harrass and due to past bad mother experiences, treat women like they should be doormats..."

Then you go on to say, "Nagging is feminism, because women have freewill!"

So, equal rights and all, "It is "women" like her who NAG, harrass and due to past bad father experiences, treat men like they should be doormats, and nagging is masculism, because men have freewill!" We both know that's bullshit, alulu. No matter which gender says it.

  • Criminals have criminal records, genius. & where the hell have u been? He hasn't been called "Puffy" for almost the last decade. U are truly lost. His only run in with the law was an aquittal of a gun charge. No conviction, not a criminal. Ice Cube is from a middle class family. He's never had a run in with the law. He enjoys to express himself through gangsta rap. It's his personal form of self-expression.

  • And Ice T has been acting fulltime since 1991. The only problem he had with cops was with 'Cop Killa' bcoz he hated crooked cops. He was harrassed due only to how he expressed himself, but no arrest came about. Calling someone a criminal with no record is Slander, Maybe u should watch ur mouth unless u like getting slapped with lawsuits.

  • I dont under stand why so many teen girls are continueing to support chris brown. It is disgusting to know that a man hit his girlfriend and ppl go against rihanna and not chris brown.he should be the one to blame for sending rihanna to the hospital. Girls are just really stupid just for defending the guy for good looks and singing talent. Its like taking the side of a guy thats stupid but hot. Im a teen girl myself but its just ridiculous how this whole situation turned out to be.

  • Well, this issue is not as one sided as you think it is. You say you're a teen girl which leads me to believe that you don't have alot of life experience yet (especially with relationships). As time goes on you will see that alot of times what you hear in the news isn't the truth.

Also, for the record it is possible that Rhianna provoked the attack.

  • While that may be true Rhianna attacked first, there is still no excuse for Brown to launch back so viciously Justfarr1030. Bravo Koolgurl30 and fuck the idea that you don't have enough life experience to sort out how people should and shouldn't be treated. I imagine if you heard Rhianna do this you would be equally disgusted.

  • i think it was wrong for orpah to say if a man hit you once he hit u again.thats like saying once a crackhead always a crack headit wrong...ppl can change its just up to the person if they want to changeand obvouisly chris want to changethe first step to changing is admitting you was wrong which he already did in his aplogy and he is going to anger mangement and being with his family in this time of needinstead of breaking someone down on ur show encougar him to be a better person..

  • I was watching this and tyra said something to the effects that she was in a relationship and she told her mom tell me to leave and stuff & her mom said no because it would push her closer to him . I feel like yes they are doing the right thing about the violence but they are like the mom telling the daughter to leave and i feel like theyre kinda pushing her closer to him.

  • You 2 guys above have issues...

  • is this full episode on youtube anywhere...i cant find it, please let me know!

    xx

  • There is never a reason for a man to beat a woman. CHRIS bROWN WAS WRONG. HE BEAT HER FACE IN. That was not a fight. he have a problem with her beauty. this is not love. this is violence.I love u Chris, but u need someone to help you become a man.

  • wtf

    l

    v

  • Yeah, please put the actual show up!

  • Dang I missed it! somebody put the clips up!

  • when dis area ???

  • Just as important for men not to hit women, females must learn to control their mouths. Y would u yell @ someone twice ur size when u know they're only restraining themselves out of respect of u being a woman? But guess what? Some guys don't care ur a female, if u yell @ some guys u gets owned. Maybe big mouthed women should think about that.

  • or maybe guys who run thier mouth should shut up too.. its not just woman who run thier mouth , believe that.ignorance is a downfall..dont trip

  • Get over yourself. You need to find a better way to deal with anger than with violence. A person can yell and scream as much as they want. A person CAN NOT hit another. Women, as a whole, DO NOT need to "control their mouths." That's mysogny

On a different tact, Emotional Abuse is DIFFERENT from a woman speaking her mind.

Some couples engage in emotional and physical abuse. Just as you shouldn't stay with someone who hits you, you shouldn't stay with someone who emotionally abuses you.

    \

  • Get over yourself. Women want to define themselves as "strong" when they can yell @ a man, mock his manhood & put down his mother. Putting someone down is not a substitute for speaking your mind. U can't hide behind ur gender bcoz u "hope" someone won't beat u. My point is, don't invite the attack by playing cruel mental games then hide behind ur gender when u start feeling things get too hot. I don't support men hitting men, but I also don't support women who use gender as an excuse 2 b cruel.

  • Exactly

  • I agree whole heartedly with you FreeDriz and I also wish Oprah will keep her damn nose out of CB and Rhi's business, she's just using it to help prop up her failing TV show...it alls goes along with her image. its no wonder steadman wont marry her

  • How can you be so awful to her? No one should physically fight with another, regardless of who instigates it. Dating violence, when guys like Mike Tyson beat up Robin Givens, is real. Ignoring it is disgusting. Women beat up men too, and ignoring that is equally disgusting. FreeDriz isn't distinguishing between a woman speaking her mind, and a woman being abusive. Strong women aren't abusive. Neither are strong men.

  • You're kind of an idiot. There's a difference between a woman speaking her mind, and a woman being verbally cruel and abusive. Which is EXACTLY what I said. I never said putting someone down was a substitute for speaking your mind.

Likewise, speaking your mind shouldn't be abusive.

I hope you attack rap lyrics with this same vim and gusto.

  • alulu8, "I hope you attack rap lyrics with this same vim and gusto."

Ice Cube sums it up for those who attack rap lyrics in this YouTube video: Ice Cube - Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It

I think u should hear his message to be fair & compare it to what u said. Note: he does this rap in a creative way, so don't mistake him for placing social problems on rap music.

  • Allow me to rephrase. I hope you attack misogynistic rap lyrics with the same vim and gusto.

  • Respect from others starts with self-respect. women exploiting themselves in rap videos is like the porn industry. If there weren't women in those vids they'd be no one to call a bitch or ho. Karrine Steffans, Superhead comes to mind. Would I want my sister doing filthy things pornstars do? no, but pornstars choose to do it. U can't be used without ur consent. If the reality changed, then the lyrics would follow.

  • Everyone deserves respect. Especially the people who believe the hype and continue the circle - Rappers have no self respect so they insult others. They call the ladies hos. The ladies dress slutty, and it's the only way they get attention. The only way they think they should be treated. The message gets broadcasted. More people buy into it. The cycle continues.

Dressing revealingly doesn't make one a ho.

So on that same note, all dudes in hip hop clothes are mysogynists?! Think dahling.

  • Plus pornography is so tarnished. A woman's natural sexual expression is tainted because the idea is good girls shouldn't have sex. So they throw the baby out w/ the bathwater and do freaky shit cuz it's already wrong. When really, lady pornstars should do what comes naturally. Guys might get a real education.

On a seperate note, just because it's out of your moral grounds, doesn't mean it's wrong. And why insult the people you're attracted to? Clearly, you watch porn...

    And wha of the guys?

  • P.S. Why respect criminals that have no respect for women?! T.I, Chris Brown, Snoop, who propells a heinous image despite raising a daughter, Ice-T, Ice Cube, Biggie, Puffy - who's protecting Chris, the list goes on.

  • my point exactly, westernized women are so dumb, deaf and blind to the fact that they will respect some one like a TI or Chris Brown who has done wrong just because he has money and GOOD LOOKS, but if it were an average guy like me they would be quick to point out my wrongs and they would scrutinize me just because I don't either have money or good looks. that is what is wrong with American women they are greedy, and forget the true nature of why they are women.

  • Some people are blinded by money. "Western women" as a group, are not. Let's not forget many look up to abusers/hateful rappers

Oprah is a western woman. I am a western woman. You're being ignorant and prejudiced.

Women aren't dormats, and it sounds like, from your tone and comments, that's what you're advocating

You sound jealous. And you're pretty unkind as well, so it sounds like you're creating your own problems. If you did wrongs like Chris Brown, I'd hope you'd be scrutinized.

  • & half the folks u mentioned don't even have a rap sheet. plus my point was if u see some 1 twice ur size about to get physically violent in an argument, the wise thing is to stop arguing. Agree? Unless u're completely dense. So please don't confuse nagging with feminism, they are not the same thing, the former is about the emasculation of a man, the latter is about the empowerment of a woman. & ur representation of feminism on this day gives the whole concept a bad name. & Good Day 2 U!

  • You're truly a fucking idiot. You took everything I have said and pretended their your words.

Nagging is feminism, because women have freewill! Abuse, however, is not feminism. Verbal or physical, as perpetrated by women. Nagging is not abuse.

My representation of feminism is spot on.

  • I don't know, when did oprah become an authority on any subject. I don't understand this fat bitch.

  • i missed it too! post the link if its going to be available here on youtube :D

  • i missed this episode. Doesn't anyone have it on youtube. is it coming on again?

  • I watch this n it was a good show n to learn frum...it was really sad too....there was a mother on there n she was saying how her daughter got killed by her boyfriend i mean it was really deep n they was saying stuff like a man is gonna give u gifts n say srry but at the end of the day, he will hit u again...Rihanna u should leave chris, he threatin to "KILL U" if singers like Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston n Tina Turna can do it, then u can too...I will be still praying for u.

  • wtf.. men hit you once some men won't hit you again. I never hit girl. and NEVER WILL!!! For all you lady reading this. give me Thump up :D

Without woman Men would be nothing.

  • Where can we watch it???????????

  • Women DO hit men. Believe me I know. I had to fight off my ex-girlfriend in the STREET because she attacked me. Guess who would have went to jail if somebody didn't break it up???

  • As for being jailed.....There are some very vendictive women out there however in most cases, the person who goes to jail is the one who is most beat up and the one who displays a look of aggression. Many exceptions but in MOST domestic violence cases....women are not the agressor of rape, violence, and battery towards men. Why does anyone think that this in anyway implies that women don't commit acts of violence. I think many are missing the point.

  • Oh well, in order to avoid the chance of being jailed, I guess I should have let her scratch my eyes out....I hope that's not your point, with all due respect.

  • For some reason, I think it is so much simpler than folks make it. If you are with somebody and you feel like you need to fight them, then you should not BE with that person. Rearrange your life and BOUNCE!!! Nothing you go through after that will matter, compared to being in a relationship with someone you have to physically fight (until somebody ends up dead or in jail).

  • The fundamentals are simple but the matters of the heart and mind are not. If that were the case, the world would have no need for wars. Problems could be solved easily. Of course women hit men. That is not the argument however in society, men have held the position of power physically, socially, economically and it has been used in destructive ways. In many countries women cannot divorce their husbands and husbands are actually given the right to beat or 'DISCIPLINE" them.

  • Women are being subjugated, and it is wrong. But what if a man is being subjugated? I heard Chris Brown had to sleep with his female manager just to get introduced to the business, and thus the fight between him and Rihanna.

  • He didnt HAVE to sleep with her.. It was a choice.. With all due respect chris brown is talanted im sure at some point he would have been " introduced " into the business..on his talent and not his sex

  • It was a choice he probably felt he HAD to make. Sometimes artists go through this no matter HOW talented they are.

  • LANORDA9, This is AMERICA, All a woman has to do is dial 911 if she is beaten or attacked by ANY ONE, BE IT MAN OR WOMAN.

  • Sure. And are you aware of what happens after she dials 911! If it were only that simple. Many fear the consequences afterwards. Even in America.....just as in the case of Rhianna....the woman is usually accused of provoking the man to violence. Same as in rape......We ask....what were you wearing. Usually...the victim ends up being prosecuted in one way or another. Call 911? lol. In an idealistic world perhaps. It's like telling one who experiences police brutality to file a report! lol

  • LANORDA9, Your paranoid, and if most women think like you than they are also. If Women feel they can't trust the police than what is this series all about. WHAT ARE YOU, AND OPRAH LOOKING FOR

    OTHER THAN JUST COMPLAINING?

  • Well.....the series is NOT about the police and their relation to domestic violence. You are totally missing the point. Complaining?! Stop scape goating. Anytime PARTICULAR individuals bring up an issue....it is passed off as simply COMPLAINING. We all have a complaint on something. Her purpose for the show is to bring awareness to it and then for others to do something about it. DUH!? Many women and men have been taught since childhood WARPED ideas of love, support, manhood, and womanhood.

  • LANORDA9, "Womanhood" DOES NOT (CHOOSE) males who BEAT THEM.

Also, "Womanhood" DOES NOT (STAY) with males who BEAT THEM.

Finally, "Womanhood" DOES NOT LEAVE and RETURN to males who BEAT THEM. Unless they like it.

Women and Men, KNOW ABOUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE and AVOID IT by conducting themselves like WOMEN AND MEN. It's those who NEVER GROW UP that practice the behaviour because they've never learned, or REFUSE TO LEARN, how to conduct themselves like WOMEN and MEN. Unless they like it..

  • And that is about the most rediculous synopsis of domestic violence I have heard. But typical...usually from abusers, those who excuse it out of bias, or those who have no clue. You clearly do not know the psychological notions of domestic violence. It is not simple. UNLESS THEY LIKE IT???!!!.....OH MY GOD. You can't be serious. Go read a book on the subject or take a class. The worst type of ignorance is speaking on something that you have no experience or COMPREHENSIVE knowledge of.

  • LANDORDA9, The OPERATIVE word was, UNLESS. Got it. You tell me to read a book. I think you need to read a dictionary. I still stand by my statements, STRONG, INTELLIGENT WOMEN, DO NOT STAY IN, OR GET INVOLVED, IN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS. UNLESS THEY LIKE.. Why would a "WOMAN" of this Rihanna's means stay in a relationship with a man who "BEATS HER" unless she likes it. She DOES NOT need him for SUPPORT OR SHELTER or ANYTHING for that matter. Your point is MOOT to say the least, but without logic.

  • Like is the operative word. She may be raised to think she needs it. Or it was the standard at home so she seeks out the familiar. Or there are rumors she may be violent too, and is inexplicably drawn to people to recreate violent scenarios.

Perhaps it fills a hole in her, or perhaps there is a hole in her and that's why she's there.

  • alulu8, before Criss got into a relationship with Rihanna, he told the PRESS the life he grew up in with his mother, the "SINGLE PARENT". He told how his MOTHER would date MAN AFTER MAN of males that would BEAT THE SNOT OUT OF HER. That was His example of Manhood and relationships. I think this Rihanna KNEW what she was getting into, and went out of her way to find it. So now she can say, "HE CUT ME OPEN AND I, KEEP BLEEDEN, KEEP KEEP BLEEDEN LOVE". A top "HIT" by the way. PUN INTENDED.

  • AGREE. i cant understand what they have to fight about, gosh they have been given everything. Oprah is being a bitch, she is making Chris look bad and blowing it up, she doesnt have material so shes ALL OVER this

  • Very good point! Going back to my prior statement, it should be EASIER for Rihanna to get away, unless they have kids or some other indestructable ties we don't know about!

  • breaking news, BeBe Winans was charged with a domestic dispute, lets see if oprah talk about and do a show on her friend. once again no in this world is peferct and weve all done things in the past and might do it in the future. if people wouldntve looked past certain things in life where would we all be?

  • man, when i watched this yesterday, i got scared to have a bf. yikes!

  • when is this show going to air?? I'd like to record it for my daughter

  • it was YESTERDAYS show

  • Women are very naive to think that men will always give them a pass when it comes to a beat down.

They actually believe it when they hear many men say things like "You should never hit a woman".

Soon as u piss a man off good enuff all options are on the table.

The " man should never hit a woman " rule is not strong enuff to withstand all of the evils that a woman may lay up against it.

  • It is like they brushed off instances where women hit men.I am glad that girl said something about it.

  • Thank you for this Oprah! It's very worrying that she has accepted him back with open arms!

  • This is terrible, she is sending the message it's ok to let a man beat a woman, she will go back!

  • Yes I have seen this and I agree.

  • today's show was Very sexist towards men and biased, if your going to talk about dating abuse you should include those men who are taken advantage of by WOMEN and the number of reports of men being stabed with 9 inch knives by their wives but since oprah and trya are the typical feminist they believe men don't count in this situation accept for being the victumizer. no one has ever mentioned how lorraina bobbit cut her husbans penis off. this is a very big double standard that needs to stop!

  • Yes. There are some crazy women out there but are you implying that domestic violence towards men is an EPIDEMIC! Are you truly saying that a man is just as likely to be raped, beaten, and battered. Surely you are not using select incidents to somehow level the field of experience. Give me a break. I'm a man educated on the issue and wise enough to know that such notions would be pure rubbish. Perhaps the show focuses on battered women due to the fact that 1 IN 4 WOMEN are physically abused.

  • LANORDA9, You are no man, That's obvious. However we digress. The point I would like to make is, Women LOVE to complain about the bad choices (THEY MAKE) in "MALES", (NOT MEN). Women never seem to ask each other, or themselves, WHY THEY CHOOSE THE MEN THEY CHOOSE. I as a man CAN NOT protect ANYONE, MAN OR WOMAN from themselves. I think "WOMEN" choose ABUSIVE MEN because they HATE THEMSELVES and think they don't merit someone who is SMART, KIND, AND GIVING. A CHOICE that ends up killing them.

  • Hmmmm. Interesting....I had no idea. To imply that women are making bad choices when finding themselves in an abusive relationship is to imply that she always knows the abusive nature of the individual prior. I too grew up in an abusive household of domestic violence. The dynamics are not simple. All of the women are not there from low self esteem. Many stay from the fear of what he may do to family members, the children etc....Complaining? Actually. MORE COMPLAINTS should be made!

  • You cant speak for all woman who have been abused heres the thing they met a man and most times his adsuive nature doesnt show right away and when it does they are EMOTIONALLY attached N maybe fearful of what he might do to them or others judge with your heart and not with your mind its just because some woman stays with a man who hits her doesnt mean she is dumb nor she thinks that way of herself. I'm sure all of us had people in our lives not healthy at some point ratter lover or friendns

  • now you know you cant make sense on the internet (its sarcasm) some people need to start thinking for themselves instead of letting celebrities do it for them. for all the people who are praisng this show what are you doing in your community to help stop domestic violence?

  • Deez black men don't have the brains to satisfy a woman. So she is unsettled. Deez fools can only resort to violence to subdue them. Dey fools!!!

  • Deez? Dey? Where did you learn Eenglush?

  • Wow!! I love you OPRAH !!

  • i loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove chicken...

    bakaaaaaaaaaaah...

  • he will hit again if given a chance one. it will be again.

  • Not in every instance, but almost always so.

  • is this tomorrow's show?

  • yea i want to know too

  • in the description box it said -Tune in on Thursday, March 12! .. hmm I could be wrong :)

  • Smart ass. LOL. That's exactly what I was thinking when I read what they asked. LOL, u funny.

  • Yes. Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 9pm Eastern on the old WB channel. I believe it's that channel. Check your tv guide. But it is definitely 9pm eastern on Thursday, March 12.

  • very important! Thanks oprah!

  • LOVE YOU OPRAH.

  • Thank god someone brings it up

thank you soo much Oprah! I will totally watch this

it's about time some one talks about this.

  • I WANNA BE ON OPRAH!

    haha but not really

    or do i?

    hmm....

  • hey oprah, chekc out my game videos there hilarous

  • I'm SO glad Oprah isn't afraid to speak out. And I'm glad to see Tyra stepping in as well. I have NO respect for ANYONE supporting this desturctive relationship. P-Diddy, Jay Z, whomever. They won't be convinced until Chris snaps Rihanna's lil neck.

  • Oprah is so full of shit.

  • Chris Brown fan are we??

  • you know your comment is going to get removed right, LOL

  • u know its not allways true that if a duy hits you he will do it again. what is that really based on? people can change and people do IF THEY ARE TRUELY SORRY

  • statistics...

if he wants to get back with her, he should at least wait a year. besides it about respect.

  • Why would you want to wait and see if he hits you again? Why would you risk your life for a man?

  • oh im a guy btw lol. no its not that its a gud idea to stay if he hits ya, but the words she used "if a MAN hits you ONCE he WILL hit you AGAIN". Well i am a fan of oprah but its just that labelling men as "once violent allways violent". however i guess this is just a preview of the show so i may be wrong (probably am as oprah isnt like that... i dont think)

  • i didnt like that statement either because women and men hit. some people seek counseling when involved in DV& some people dont. so if a person hits another person once, they will do it again, i dont agree with that statement because some people do change. if everybody in this world was crucified for the things theyve done that was wrong, whether is was big or small. where would some of us be? thats why i dont judge ppl because im not perfect and ive done things in the past that was forgiven.

  • I'm sure she means without serious help, even then it's likely he will do it again... I know from many family members. Help doesn't always work, in fact, in the cases that I know of it helped for a while but the abuser went back to what he/she knows. I think it's best to start with someone knew if you are the abused... if it's an abuser you should do the same after counseling so you can get a fresh start at an abuse free life.

  • That is what she was saying and I am against that. If a man hit you once, that does not mean that he will hit you again. You just have to put him in his place and if he do it again after you do that, its time to leave.

  • No if he hits you LEAVE because if you stay and bond with him. He will become MORE violent and it will be MORE dangerous for you to leave.

Women need to test men before getting so far into them. I put the men I meet who I like under a stress test if they fail I do not speak to them no more before bonding.

  • you see this why men are the way they are because it's females like you that drive men like us into the hole, you women nag and complain about every little thing under the sun and push us to the point that we want to fight back. and then you go into feminist mode and turn yourselves into the victum when it was you that provoked the problem. and the good men that want to love you drive them away with your mood swings. and thats whats wrong with westernized women your all spoiled!

  • I am a man and I'm man enough to know that I am responsible for my own actions. If I am any particular way it is because I chose to be OR LACKED THE POWER AND WISDOM TO CHOOSE DIFFERENTLY. You cannot be a man without being a human being or an adult. Therefore he possesses the traits necessary to be an adult and human being. One who is not fully in control of his mind body and soul IS NOT A MAN! HE'S A BOY. There is no justification for VIOLENCE unless it is truly SELF DEFENSE!

  • yea

  • i agree with your statements, but don't you think oprah is being one sided with this issue, she only addresed women and the show was basically a war council that oprah always takes againt men, shes overshadowing the fact that there are still good men in this world reguardless. and for her and tyra to make women think that men are dangerous is FEMENIST type thinking and control oprah is gonna turn all women into lesbians soon enough just watch her.

  • A femnist is one who thinks women are people. It's not hate speech. Educate yourself.

  • and a femenist is a woman that hates all men, and is bitter about the bad ones she runs into, so she treats all men like trash in order to protect her heart from being heart broken. watch diary of a mad black woman and see how the main charecter treats shamar moore.

  • NO, NO, NO! Madea is a caricature of a woman that has more in common with a slave owner mentality than feminist principles. She smacks people to keep them in line and is plain MEAN!

Yes, she knows women and men are equal but her attitude overshadows any right way people ought ot be treated.

So stop, JJ, and realize that a feminist doesn't hate men. Where have YOU been for the past 30 years?!

  • It sounds like you're talking about a certain group of sad, angry, frustrated people. There are communities who communicates to each other in a harsh way, and use gender, race, age, and status as walls to launch attacks or protect themselves.

Check out the website, now. org and you'll have a better understanding of feminism. It's the belief all People are judged by the content of their character, not their gender. Gender predjudice should not preclude people from acheivement or respect. Duh.

  • And Google Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Marie Curie, Sojournor Truth, Alice Walker, Betty Friedan, M. Einstein,

  • See and its like " men " like you.. that nagg just as much or worst like you doing now that provoke woman to speak thier mind =)..sounds like you know alot about this hummmm...

  • It is "men" like him who nag, harrass and due to past bad mother experiences, treat women like they should be doormats so they won't say anything to upset him. He outta deal with his issues.

  • I LOVE YOU OPRAH & THANKS FOR THE EPISODE!

you should also mention the multiple times brown has hit rihanna BEFORE THIS OCCURRED according to police reports. so it aint the first time!

  • Its about time get this issue back into the forefront, if I was Oprah I would add rape/murder on this list b/c this country needs to address these issues that as plague our society for a long time. Organization like the NOW, UN have been fighting for the stop of violence against women all over the world & sadly violence against women have continued to increase. No one should lay a hand on anyone. Thanks Oprah

  • Fcuk Oprah

  • at least spell it right. now go & watch your dragon ball z

  • its sad and angers me that everybody want to capitalize on chris and rihanna situation. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE have been occurring for centuries. where was the outrage then? everybody can speak about this issue but the thing is, DOSOMETHING about it. dont get involved because celebrities are speaking out, get involved because you want to help solve the problem.

  • wow, she does a show on domestic abuse & its capitalizing on it? please.

oprah is only speaking about this, bc she knows a lot of teen girls & boys are getting the wrong message & oprah speaks about everything in the headline anyways

  • where was all the shows on DV before chris and rihanna? and yes its capitalizing on this issue. and oprah dont speak about everything in the headlines. where are the police brutality stories, where are the dead beat dad stories? i can go on. the thing is issues that plague society shouldnt have to wait until a celebrity go through it, just so it can be talked about. but alot of things dont surprise me, some people only get passionate about issues when it affects them directly.

  • uh, hello octuplets?<< headline, etc.

shes done domestic violence shows for as long as i can remember she did some back in fall (dec-feb was a season break). i watch her show like a religion and dvr it all the time, shes done NUMEROUS DOMESTIC ABUSE shows, the only ppl attacking are the ones that dont even watch her show that often.

no one waits until a celebrity goes through it, its just back in the headlines again so everyone talks about, thats bound to happen.

  • thats why they are PUBLIC FIGURES, what you do ends up public even if it is meant to be "private". and what better way to talk to the youth about domestic violence then now while its in the headlines?

chris brown is young, naive & violent. the worst decision he made was getting back with rihanna just days after beating the life out of her, vice versa.

  • i dont watch oprah show like you do but i do watch commercials to see what her shows will be about. and im not attacking oprah per sa. im referring to everybody. i dont need to watch talk shows to get informed about whats plaguing society. ive said it once and i'll say it again, its sad that everybody want to capitalize off if chirs nad rihanna situation. if some people were passionate about issues in society, we'd reside in a much world. but that wont never occur.

  • Oprah isn't capitalizing, she's got more money than both of them combined. She's trying to reach out to kids who might be confused by this situation. I'm glad she's doing it cause sometimes kids need to see it from more than just their parents.

  • capitalizing dont always equate to money. this is not a money issue. and fyi, some people that are rich or wealthy are always trying to fins ways to make more money. ask all the people who gave bernie madoff their money to invest. parents, family and the community should be teaching kids about life, not a talk show.

  • I feel everyone should keep your hands to yourself. Violence is violence. Doesn't matter who does it. If a man hits a woman or a woman hits a man. We need to teach all children that hitting anyone is wrong. I would never teach a little girl that's its ok if you hit a boy but then yell at the little boy for hitting a girl. I would tell them both keep your hands to yourself. That way they both know its wrong to put your hands on another girl, another boy and each other.

  • plz plz plz plz upload this i want 2 c it sooooo bad plz pzl plzpzlzpzl lol i'll subscribe if you upload this episode

  • Yup, good that Oprah got involved. Girls listen to every word she says.

About Rihanna, if she goes back with him, she loses her self-respect. Friends, fam, fans will also lose respect for her. Let's see what she does.

  • I cried so much when I heard what happened to rihanna. It really really hit me hard because this is a young woman just like me and what happened to her could have happened to anyone.

  • way to go oprah, this is needed now with all the rihanna stuff

  • o me Oprah I will have to watch! Thanks

  • Thank you, Ophra

  • the convo has already started with me my daughters and my son as well...this message has got to b heard loud and clear...ppl have got to realized this is no joke ...domestic violence has nothing to do with love and ppl need to understand that

  • I only wish the UK could put these on after they've been been on the TV in the USA. I never know when they are on and i would like to watch this..

  • i know, diva tv take ages to air episodes

  • I agree with Oprah. This is an issue that most people do not want to address. It is definitely a teachable moment.

  • I am so glad that Oprah is doing this show because when she talks, people listen. Hopefully Rihanna will be one of them. It doesn't matter what a man has done for you in the past, it all goes out the window when he hits you. A man like that does not deserve a second chance.

  • When are people going to learn this?

  • I don't think it's a matter of learning. I think it has more to do with accepting the fact that hitting anyone or being a victim of violence is wrong. People know it's wrong yet they still choose to ignore it. I think the most disturbing part is when people have a chance to get out of that environment or situation yet they still choose not to. It's a scary thought.

  • Mental control is part of the abuse. They make you stay away from your family. Some women wait until it is too dangerous for them to leave.

  • Patricia Adams wrote "The Verbally Abusive Relationship" a truly amazing book which deals with all forms of emotional, verbal, financial, etc. of abuse. Saved my life!

  • Oprah is amazing!

  • Oh, I'll be watching!

  • I'll be watching
