I'm british I have a corn snake 1 hamster 2 guinie pigs 4 fish and a stray cat that I put out food for I love them all to bits and I take care of them play with them an hold them every day I live animals -3 like this if u do too!!!!!

tubes r alot of work to clean and if the hamster is really fat they can get stuck in the tubes and die but if u wanted the tubes thats perfectly fine with me!

i love that cage(: ive had alot of hamsters with a total of 8 cages, the current one being a bin cage, only reason i didnt keep the others is they were very hard to clean. it looks like u take very good care of your hamster, too. the funny thing is though that my current hamsters name is peanut, he will be 1 year old in august (:

Love your fancy cage, bet it cost a lot... Had Hamsters for years, longest one lived was "Buster" cute male, 5 years... which is a long life for a Hamster... Ten years is unheard of... Found out the hard way, they prefer to be alone, no other mates with them, each one in their own cage... and mating is fine, but separate right after, etc... then you'll need more cages.. heh heh! that's why I stopped using tubes on my hamster's cage....she's a robo dwarf, and now she lives alone in a 20 gallon tank with a wire mesh top, a wheel, a hideout, and her essentials. She used to live with her sister, but her sister died :(

@ tylerjm100, why is it too big? Isn't bigger better? I'm talking from budgie excperience I had a crittertrail cage and found it too small :/ like superanimalmad's old one. Budgie-wise I say the bigger the better, as big as you can afford. If you had this cage for one hamster you'd deny it was too big. I'm not causing an argument but if you want to critisize do it for the right things :)

How do you litter train your hamster? I'm getting one for christmas and think that it would be a lot easier than it was with my last hamster if it is litter trained! :)x

@Hannaah4Horses Take some of the bedding that ur hamster has peed on and place it in the litter box. Then clean out cage thoroughly so that there is no smell in the cage and put fresh bedding in. Place litter box in a corner of cage (preferably the corner that it has used as a toilet b4 and hopefully ur hammy will start to use the litter tray!! Hope i helper :)

@balto1919 My hammie escaped from this cage :( so im not sure i would recommend it now. He got out from the tube openings so i took the tubes away and put the special tube caps on but he still managed to push them off and my mum rescued him from one of our cats :( we took him to the vets and fortunately he was fine!! So now i have him in a glass tank with a wire lid that he can't reach!! Hope i helped XD
