Great tutorial, you are an awesome player. I love to play Pusher, but the pro version and not the elite; I find it much more fun, but it doesn't have a high score potential since chains don't exist and blocks disappear from the board almost immediatly after you complete a combo of 3.
chains exist in al classes but chans are much shorter in pro and even shorter in casual just like match time is. but there is no "fall time" in casual or pro.
Are you sure? I tried to chain blocks many times in pro, with and without the use of "gravity" to buy some time, but it didn't work. Always the boring 30 points.
Thanks for the tutorial, m8. I normally play Eraser but I've been trying to learn Pusher since pusher seems to have a higher score potential. It's tough to learn; I'd find myself staring at the board like a puzzle so I'd run into a lot of crap I didn't want. Your explanation of the bonuses will help me a lot.
Wow this video is really great! I was already pretty good at pusher just from watching other videos and learning what to do, but now I've got a deeper understanding of it all. Thanks a lot man. Now take this video down so nobody else learns how to be awesome! =P
Does the 30% bonus for multiple matches count for any mode with multiple colors (such as Pointman)? Does it increase if you get more than two color matches at once, like four?
Thanks -- I'm definitely gonna have to keep that in mind. I'll try'n make sure I always make at least two simultaneous matches, even if it's three purples for the sake of making it happen. l3
Hey thanks man, great tutorial! Converted a mono player :) It's hard to get used to but a lot of fun. This video is sooo helpful, i keep referring back to it.
I find it's best to know the song first to know what colours are good. If you know a really high moment in the song is coming up, grab those yellows and reds cus they'll be plentiful. During solos or slow parts, blues, purps will be plentiful. Keep an eye out and grab big groups as well.
i didnt say green purple weren good, they were just the best to get at that time. the best colour is red, then yellow, then green, then blue then purple
I don't quite understand what chaining is. Is it when a match happens, immediately followed by another match? And if there isn't a match there waiting then the chain is broken?
there doesnt have to be a match waiting. but you have to get a new match flashing very quickly to keep the cain (same time as it takes for a match to vanish after a blcok has been picked up) there is now a little white meter at the bottom of the screen (fm update) and the bigger that is the bigger you chain is and if that disapears you have lost your chain. so experiment a bit a whctch the vid again im sure you will understand if you try it.
I'm slowly getting the hang of pusher. I'm pretty sloppy but I think I'm getting the hang of it

yes 100% sure. its very dificult to do with pusher tough as you need a high traffic song to do it. much easer with pointman pro to chain

still having a hard time, but this helped me a bit, Thank you!

alright i just wanna know, do you get the 100% clear bonus + the chain bonus? or does the chain bonus override the clear bonus?
hentaipop 3 years ago
hears how the scoring works for pusher:
Block value*block multiplier (how many block of that colour you have* chain bonus + sync Bonus * clear bonus.
so no the chain bonus doesn't override clear bonus.

wow, i have to say, its very unfair that chaining is not explained in the game.

yes this applys for all colour characters, but it 30% is you have 2 colours or 5.

Yeah I think I understand it now. I'm not very good at keeping it going though because I keep having periods where a match doesn't come fast enough.
Htrac 3 years ago
thats when u have to gravity stack so you dont loose your chain at slow parts. also the act of blocks fallling extends the time loads
R0nBurgundy 3 years ago
You made it look easy, and sound easy, but you've done your homework, i'll try it out, thanks.

yep thats right. That is the easyest way to do it.
R0nBurgundy 3 years ago
Hm, ok... I figured out that there ARE extra scores for chaining, but knowing that exact rules, times and specific bonuses is a HUGE help really!
So thanks a lot, now I can become an even better player, and you will have more competition to make it more interesting for you :-)
Except that you taste of music seems to be totally different from mine.

that is not chain thats match. I dont think u understand correctly
also in fm update which was yesterday one was added ;)
R0nBurgundy 3 years ago
Ohhhh.
Where's the meter now?
Pyritie 3 years ago
Its the white bar that grows along the bottom. the bigger it is the bigger you chain is
