you should open your eyes ! I think it's very bad when singers close their eyes, because they won't have contact with the watchers.. and that's a pity.. But that's just my opinion ;)

I stand corrected about the lyrics, but with regard to open/closed eyes, when I sing in front of people I guess I do tend to look at them more often than my webcam; for me I'm presenting a piece of what's inside myself and if I was too conscious of others' reactions it would be harder to be honest I think. You can't please everyone and I'm not confident.
