hmm I actually like this style more thn the final flash render, it has the natural touch of the pencil lines, and the colors are quite soft, a bit as the watercolour's..it works well!
but you're the animator, I'm just the animation course's freshmeat =)
Yeah, I prefer pencil lines over the clean digital lineart as well. But as it's quicker to work on Flash, the film is going to be digitally drawn. If I was working on a shorter film I could draw everything in pencil. (:
