Afer 21 years, I'm going back in 2010 to the Majestic or Barcelo with the wife for 10 long days.
Can't wait to step on that white sand once again! and cry like a baby! I love U Quisqueya, La Bella.
Quisqueya is the name that the TAINOS gave to the Island centuries ago..
I leave for this resort tomorrow with my girlfriend! We're both so excited after watching all the videos and reading reviews. This really does look like paradise. Now I need to go pack...plane leave in 18 hours XD
Just got back last sunday. This hotel is really geared towards couples and I went with my teenage son for his graduation. The hotel is beautiful and we had some really good food. Be prepared for mosquitoes with some spray and hydrocotisone cream. They aren't horrible but I saw almost everyone had bites.
WE loved the japaneese and steak restaurants the best. Have your food made at the buffets it will be fresh and hot.
Also no seperate bathrooms. just stalls with toilet and shower.
I back the Steak and Japaneese.. Food though, not too sure. I mean, it was good, but always running out of food... maybe because of the low season I guess, I went on Dec 1st. Maid service, not too terrible... and YES, the famous toilet with a glass door !! not too smart... noise and smell just flow freely ;-) Beside that, perfect beaches... hot and humid... woot. no mosquitos at that time of the year. 2nd time in DR, Presidente Beer is da' sh$t. !
hi i have planes to go to the resort in 09 and i would like for anyone who attend the resort to give me some inside of there experience what is worth going, was it fun, was there great music to dance to, were there cute dominicanos jaja:). any inside of what to do and not to do. thank u i would really apreaciate ur feedback. MU@@@
