the R4i is real and the reason the r4 didnt work for the dsi is because it has an autoboot feature and the dsi does not autoboot anything

the acekards are the only ones that work legit for the dsi. i tried the r4 it isnt compatable with the new features. r4 team is dead lol others make more products but they died a year ago or so. just r4 were over hyped for dslite that no one knew about acekards and other card generators :]

WRONG...sorry dude. Copyright laws have changed since 1996. Apparently that was the last time you read the fine print in a nintendo (or any game manufacturer's) game manual. ROMs are illegal if you own the game or not.

They were meant for 2 purposes, which were homebrew, and a way to run roms of games you ALREADY OWNED so that you only need to bring the single game cart with you instead of all of the games you wanted to play
