Outstanding job on the old Mckinley Morganfield standard. When you listen carefully to the singer, you can tell the guy doesn't speak English; they learned the words phonetically, don't have a clue as to the meaning. But so what? They are one helluva cookin'band, especially that harp player! It would be interesting to hear ol' Muddy's comments; I think he'd love their work....
Though Muddy, (My Idol of Chicago Blues), had the hit, it was written by the prolific genius Willie Dixon whom I'm sure you know played bass in his band and wrote many hits for "Mr. Morganfield",aka Muddy Waters. As for this version, I dig everything but the vocals.
