We now will need to rely on the Russia to get into space until private company's like Space X complete testing on the Falcon and Falcon Heavy rocket. We should have funded the shuttle until the new rockets were flight ready. Bush cancelled the shuttle program but funded NASA to develop a new Ares human and Ares Heavy lift rocket.

If you would deny the workings of gravity its like saying, hey my computer doesnt work on electricity but on light. And since light = electricity (or power) it makes no sense.

lets just assume that the earth didnt go around the sun (which therefore basically means that gravity didnt exist)

also the video cameras in space are cheap because they need to supprot the vaccuum of space and the force of propellant that the rocket drives. So you cannot mount a HD camera on a rocket, so it always looks more blurry then it would look when you film on the ground.
the clouds do not move, the surface of the earth moves. You cannot see the surface as it moves because the blue
sea looks completely transparant to the clouds. And as every vehicle in low earth orbit needs to move atleast about 7500meters per second you will see a blue transparant orb surrounded by blackness,
and the only fucus point are the clouds itself, which illusionate the sight that the clouds are moving rather then the surface itself.
secondly, zero gravity doesnt exist. You experience it.
Because you escape the gravity at which the earth pulls on you,. that is a constant unchangeable
force. Meaning you need a constant velocity to escape from it. Once you reach that velocity, you escape earths gravity by the same force that it pulls on you. So your continually falling towards the earths.
a spacecraft itself (the iss for example) still has the same weight that it has on earth, it still weighs several tons and it still requires the same force to move that weight. Because you are freefalling however that force will not exhaust itself.
the problem i have with all these low orbit clips, is that are land masses are so huge and yet in every clip i see on here i cannot recognise any continent or country, surely by now we would have footage of, the uk, italy boot shaped, west coast of usa, australia is immence and yet no footage whatsoever ....so fake or not fake is the question..

This means that when the video camera is set to expose Earth correctly, the stars are so dim as to be invisible against the black backdrop of space. If the camera were exposing bright enough to show the stars, the earth would appear so bright as to be a solid ball of white.

The speed needed to balance out earth's gravity so you don't fall back to the ground is around 7.9km/s (4.9 miles per second). That's their orbiting speed.

It makes me sad seeing Earth so beautiful, and seeing what people are doing to the Earth, damaging, crushing and wrecking this delicate surface on which we relly on to live. :[
You have to work real hard at watching a piece of video like this and others like it and not believing God created it all. God is the master behind such an amazing earth and how it all fits together in the universe. I am also struck with the idea of looking at earth from space with all the people, lives, the good and bad going on but in space is perfectly quiet and still. That's enough sentiment for today..

Now imagine, what are the odds some of those have life with hundreds of billions of known galaxies. Considering milky way is a relatively small galaxy, what are the odds of more life in the universe?

So, get off your pedestal and realize your ample limitations.

Many more things larger, many more beautiful.. I do believe there is most likely other life, but who's to say it's oxygen breathing? You can't speak for all humans. Other life is not different at all. Most life in this galaxy is very similar to that on earth. Aliens will be very familiar to you because all life on earth came from space. Like a flower in a pot, Earth was seeded with life. in 6 months we would be at jupiters orbit, at which times our planet will be a iceball.
the atmosphere will freeze, nitrogen oxygen, carbondioxide, will enter fluid or solid state, removing all of the earths atmosphere.
and the axial roll and tilt will not change after hundred millions of years, so it wouldnt affect seasonal changes.

@jewfrodavis Actually, mizicko702 is perfectly correct. The light reflecting from the sun off the Earth is many orders of magnitude brighter than that coming from the stars. This means that when the video camera is set to expose Earth correctly, the stars are so dim as to be invisible against the black backdrop of space. If the camera were exposing bright enough to show the stars, the earth would appear so bright as to be a solid ball of white.

The speed needed to balance out earth's gravity so you don't fall back to the ground is around 7.9km/s (4.9 miles per second). That's their orbiting speed.

You have to work real hard at watching a piece of video like this and others like it and not believing God created it all. God is the master behind such an amazing earth and how it all fits together in the universe. I am also struck with the idea of looking at earth from space with all the people, lives, the good and bad going on but in space is perfectly quiet and still. That's enough sentiment for today..

In fact, did you know there are estimated about 60,000,000,000 planets with earth-like atmospheres in our galaxy alone. Many more things larger, many more beautiful.. I do believe there is most likely other life, but who's to say it's oxygen breathing? Life is most likley the norm in the universe. The planets are so far apart we may never confirm it though. A popped balloon filled with air in a vacuum chamber would go more 'beserk' than it would when surrounded by normal air pressure. This would be because of the large pressure difference between the internal air pressure of the balloon and external pressure of the vaccuum chamber, which would equalize extremely quickly. This is why air gets sucked out of plane at high altitudes if a window is broken. Why is escaping the earth's gravity an "impossibility rightly proven by Newton's laws"?
