  • Hey nice video, you can also take a look on the middaily.com - free classified website

  • .22 Revolvers are pretty well known for their ricochets. I actually just had a round come back and hit me in the chest the other day, it didn't hurt me but it scared me pretty good.

  • well you are kind of wrong when you said you cant find good quality balisongs anymore because i went to bladeplay with the intention to but the cheapest full sized balisong they had which ended up being a textured silver balisong and i actually bought it for the soul purpose to make a video showing the bad quality of a cheap balisong and it ended up being a video of the quality that you can find for a very low price, when i said test i mean brutal stuff i even threw it a lot to try and break it.

  • Finnish knife? But atleast I haven't ever seen knife like that in Finland.

  • that black balisong looks like the tf2 spy knife

  • I have a frost cutlery flick knife with like a six inch blade, looks kinda like a kukri with a cheapo camo finish.

  • za dużo pierdoli a za mało pokazuje

  • my dad has the same exact frost balisong! Ive been trying to find a video or something about it for a while and i should of known you had one lol. how much did you pick that up for, I was wondering how much its worth now.

  • I assume that what you meant by the "I'm not being the best role model for you young kids" ( 8:45 ) is not that you spent money while being on a budget but buying a gun itself is a questionable behaviour. Am I right?

  • @oreospace

    No.

  • @zanuha

    God bless America.

  • @oreospace

Why would you say buying a gun is questionable behavior?

Here in the states guns are a basic right, like freedom of speech or religion. How can it be "questionable"? Would it be questionable to choose Buddhism over Christianity? To say exactly what you think of something?

  • @oreospace I'd go with no lol....

  • That isn't a Finnish style knife, they have single bevel blades and a very slight, straight angle downwards to the tip. That's a flat ground clip point knife, nothing special.

  • "hey guys i just wanted to make this quick little viseo..." 15 minuets later, the end

  • why is it that when you say "imma make this quick video" all of your vids are like 15 min?

  • YEA, gettin knifes at 10 yrs old!, i'm so proud T.T

  • @wese3000

I got my first knife when I was 8. It was a Finnish fixed blade with a 4-inch blade.

  • hey if i was to send you some money for the frost balisong do you think maybe you could name a price or tell me a good place to pick one up

  • I have never bought a frost cutlery knife that was worth the five bucks I paid. I have owned a few old balisong style knifes. Always extra heavy. My dad has that exact same pistol I am very sure. he used it to shoot the heads off quail regularly. very solid pistol and very accurate pistol in my dads hands. I always love shooting it too.

  • Hey cutlerylover, great review as always. Positive you know this by now but that old Ruger "three screw" is worth about a hundred or a hundred fifty more than you paid. Looks to be in amazing shape. Collectors would drool at that one. I've got a "new model" single six. Absolutely love that thing.

  • would you like to sell that frost cutlery

  • at 05:48 whats the name of the butterfly knife

  • how much do you want for the butterflyknife

  • not finland... scandinavia is norway, sweden , finland

  • Do you know where i can buy knives with paypal?

  • @p22waltherp22 spyderco tenacious, good knife it will run you about 30$

  • Those Ruger .22's are really fun guns. Great fun for just plinking.

  • do you have any swich blades ?

i dont mean for sale if you do can you make a revew?

  • Finland = awesome.

  • god i hate old people with warped ideas of what their crap is worth

  • i own the one with wholes in it

in the uk we all it a butterfly knife

  • I am from the UK and i have always called them Balisongs or "Ladder" knifes.

  • ive put so many rounds downrange with a single six, sucha great gun... great memories

  • i picked up my flash 2 for 43$ new...and shipped

  • your being a great roll model

  • dont feel too bad, i got a gsg5 and colt m4 .22lr on inpulse.

  • hey i have the same exact balisong, the silver/non rubberized one

  • FROST CUTLERY WHOOT WHOOT!

I used to sell there cheap crap. The funny thing is a few of there cheaper knifes are better than brad knifes in terms of there lock up!

Matter of fact I pick an older frost cutlery $3 blade over my Columbia River m16 edc

  • is the bear silver vein 114 channel or sandwitch? plz help lol

  • what is the quality of those balisongs

  • that is one beautiful gun...

  • wow cool gun can you make a video of you shooting it please?

  • dude could you give me a really really cheap balisong. i love you vids but i have no balisongs im a collector of swords and stuff. got a few old swodes and i got a bit of cool new ones if u want a vid showing what they ae tell me i dont have much but i got a few and i dont have any money to buy new ones but no balisongs. whatever the answer is could you espond to me?

  • @ deathsassistant1

  • looks fun to shoot, and also CHEAP to shoot!!!!

Awesome man, always good to find great deals.

I am the same way as far as impulse buying goes as well! If I see something I like, I will buy it and think about the money later, which usually is not the best thing, but at the same time, I now have many things I wouldnt have had if I would have thought about it, and I am still here and not starved to death, so I guess its OK.

  • i mean there fixed blades ar ok for carving

  • frost knives are good

  • I have enough expereince to say they arfe not, if they are golod enough fort you thats a good thing, but in genearl they are not good knives, and by good I mean well built and made of good quality materials..

  • I have a Smith and Wesson flip knife, with the back-locking system. 5'' black coat blade and rubber grip inserts. It was like 40 bucks and its a damn good piece, I think.

  • @cutlerylover lots a typos

  • @cutlerylover im sorry does your keyboard stutter? lol

  • @daleypaper17 frost moras are good if thats what you mean but frost cutlery just plain sucks lol

  • I actually found an add in my locals classifieds for a Remington 870 with a purple barrel and a pink stock. Lol, who would ever paint their gun purple and pink? I wonder if u fire a bullet out of a pink gun, is it going 2 hit the nearest gay guy?

  • HAHA, In Cheaper than dirt magazine I saw a Pink .22... My friend bought it (girl) and uses it at our range.

  • stoped it a t famas err super red hawk

  • Am commenting on the so caald "Scandinavien" Knife. That shure sounds funny. I live in Finland, and thoug I like balisong´s, our "traditional" knife is calld "Lapin Leuku". It really don´t have a name in any other language, but you can call it "The Laplander". Well, thats all I had fore now. Veary good vid, AGEN! :-) Take care you to.

  • do a day of everyday carry with it and you will know what its like to be a cowboy. you should even were a hat to go with ti

  • Jeff. I have a heritage like Fabio too :D. My first gun. its really nice AND i got it for 75$ from my pastor. He was selling it.

  • ohh thank you for this video, i've been wanting to find where or from whom to buy a single six .22 for ever but i've laid back on it because i know i can't afford it at the moment haha

  • well you cna buy one online frokm impactguns or other sites and they cna ship to to your local dealer, it will cost you between $30 - $50 to get it at your local dealer, thats the average cost, on top of the guns price...but there are always options out there...

  • Nice score on the Single Six, Ruger does a good job on their single actions. I got a Vaquero with a bird's head grip in .375 on my wish list.

  • I get 550 .22 rounds for $7

  • lol send me some...

  • I may have some 22 mags running around...

A case of letting Wal-Mart employee grab the boxes and me subsequently not checking if it was right before purchasing.

  • @parksy6908 Same with me

  • I have a cousin with this gun and its a fun gun to play around with, shooting acorns out of trees and stuff like that.

  • Shooting acorns out of trees? It's irresponsible to shoot UP.

You should be shooting level, towards a backstop of which you are certain is clear. All we need is a bunch of idiots shooting their gun up at acorns in the air and end up killing someone because of their lack of thought.

  • its off in the woods way out in the country, nothing is out there....

    with a .22

  • 1. A 22 can fly AT LEAST a mile, at the right angle, it could fly over a mile.

    2. I'm pretty sure you can't guarantee that no one is around a mile away.

    Which brings me to ..

    3. You still should not be shooting up into the air. What goes up, must come down. It IS absolutely stupid to do so. Please, do NOT do it in the future.

  • I do know there is not ANYONE around because there is over 300acres of land most woods.

And i .22 will not go a mile through TREES...

Plus it's a pistol and it does not have long range capabilities, especially in the woods.

And its not like I'm aiming straight up.

  • the black bali looks a lot like the black rock hunter folding knife from cold steel.....

  • i have that gun

  • how much did the balisongs cost each?

  • I have the exact metal one still and I got it back in the 80's. the main rivits are popping out though. I need to find someone who can fix it.

  • i thought that was funny to about the made in china knife lol. pretty cool find! do you keep all your knives and guns in a huge safe?

  • I have a small safe in my home, I actuaolly keep alot of what I shjow in anothger house not by me, so if I ever got robbed even if they did get into the safe and get stuff its only a fraction of ytm goodies, haha

  • i like that clicking sound

it gives you the thrill to shoot it

  • Nice Ruger Jeff,.....Nice thing about Ruger's single actions is they are overbuilt, and will last forever...I have a .357/9mm convertible Blackhawk that I would never part with.....Enjoy that Single-Six.

  • That revolver is absolutly gorgeous! Back into the revolvers are we Jeff!

  • I have the same plastic handled balisong!

  • I have that exact gun! Super cheap to shoot, since you have to take your time with the single action.

  • That Frost Cutlery bali looks suspiciously like your BM42 and your PPC Model 30 (I think thats what it was).

  • all the older balisongs wanted to make somethign that looked like what was popular and at the time the best production balsiongs were the old PCC models so cheaper copmpanies mimicked that...even today frost has NO new designs they just make cheapo cersions of good designs...and without permission...

  • CutleryLover- Where do you get all your knives?

  • he gets them from forms, shops, traids, the Classifieds etc

  • i got a silver butterfly knife like that one it was passed down to me from my dad

  • that gun is worth somewhere in the neighborhood of 400-500 dollars so good buy .

  • nice gun

  • FabioCrow07770 also has a .357 magnum!

  • really nice gun sometimes you just have to go with impulse and i'm sure you are glad you did.

  • omg love the new gun

  • can you do a video of your entire knife collection

  • 9:00 Gordan Freeman!, sadly that was the first thought that popped in my head when I saw that revolver.

  • hell yeah! halflife ftw!!!

  • except for the fact it looks nothing like Freeman's revolver, but great game.

  • It doesn't look similar at all, but it's cool nonetheless.

  • yea my dad has owned several ruger blackhawks and he sayd there just lke the heritage arms 2ingle sixes. im borrowing my cousins heritage arms single six in 22/22mag ( cover your ears,i know its just a 22 but it still rings your eears after a while(especially 22 mags))

  • Thanks, Jeff! Hey, you have got yourself a very nice single-six, in beautiful condition. There is something about those single action pistols that really lures you in. You're going to love shooting it!

  • i have that too... but its a bb gun

  • How much did you spend on all this?

and i thought that was funny about the knife thing.....

  • wow, that ruger is sweet! i can see why you bought it on impulse!

  • HAHAHA My Mom has the exact same gun!

  • ya most of the time i see these guns get shot from the hip

  • wish i had a revolver

  • dude, i woulda bought that in a heartbeat so don't feel bad. Thats an awesome gun. You should practice twirling it and stuff.

  • Nice gun! My dad has a Ruger Blackhawk, it's single action and looks almost exactly like that one, but it shoots .44 Mags.

  • i think that, you'll probly get a revolver for around $500. depends on the age really.

  • hey i have a rostfei and i got for 12 bucks abd it is a great knife but is the frost better ?

  • rostfrei just means rust free in another language I think its french, anyway the old friost models were made better than most no name knives made today./...

  • rostfrei is german

  • my dad had a gun like that but his was a black powdered pistal

  • :O are those black balisong handles plastic?

  • yup, hollow too very light, not a good thgin for flipping...

  • You just missed your .357 revolver. Revolvers are just fun to shoot.

  • holy crap that dude wanted 95$ for a used sog flash 2

  • Love my .22 revolver, the thing is built like a tank! could shoot it all day and won't cost much

    Thanks for the shout out.

  • nice gun :)

  • doesn't .22 mag. have a bigger head on it?

  • No. The .22mag is the same size as the .22lr. The mag is just a longer case, like the 38spl and .357mag. Same diameter bullet, just a little longer shell case.

  • oh.... lol i thought it was fatter

  • maybe a longer head..but idk about width..because it is a .22

  • ruger used to make loads of western style guns but then they moved to making guns for the police market and never really looked back.

the ruger security six was produced in 1968 and is the same as the super six except the speed six has a rounded butt

  • finland is not in scandinavia denmakr sweden and norway is scandenaviens

  • i have a ruger 10 22 short with a 32 round banana clip i love it i want to know if u have one

  • hey if ya havent yet check out my balisong vids I got the frost knife but with all brass handels and differant blade type

got a vid or two of me flippin it allso

you got a good find I dont see many by frost anymore there geting harder to find

    I miss the 80s lol

  • checked out that elephant toenail website those knives look really cool hope you get one sometime and review it

  • Duh! sorry for the double post guy's forgot to mention to JFC84, down below, that I agree totally with your feelings on the cocking and cylinder rotation sounds of the gun!! for me, it's a very thought provoking sound / s, it builds up an anticipation for the boom! of the round going off! Great sound.

  • Wow Jeff, nice haul eh! Just have to say M8, that I can sit back and with a mug of coffee in hand, listen and watch your vid's almost as if you were having a chat over the coffee table as it were, I like your 'conversational manner' of presenting your dialog, it makes your vid's that extra bit special, well done M8 and thanks for this one.

  • i have 1 of those rugers they are awesome congrats man

  • That clicking noise is just delightful.

I've never had an interest in older revolvers until this video, actually. A pretty neat gun, CL. Have fun and stay safe!

    Sal

  • Hey! You loaded one round too many. remember, with this kind of revolver you really should skip one chamber so that the hammer isn't resting on a round.

  • Actually "this kind of revolver" was designed to safely be loaded to capacity.

Specifically this revolver was designed from the onset so it could be fully loaded and be safe at the same time.

  • had a black plastic one like that got it for 5 bucks at the local tackle shop when i was like 12. brings me back.

  • I was wondering what knives you would say are good beater knives...not just that you don't care if they get dinged up but also they can take a beating?

  • You should check out the Dan Wesson Action Cup. Mean looking thing

  • always loved revolvers.

and for sure it will be my first gun

  • love the new gun. OHH and by the way i was the one who was asking how the cheapo knife was gonna break while your flipping it. well not even a day later i was sharpening my cheapo one. (i bought a cheapo one because it was my first butterfly knife) but while i was sharpening it, handle broke. the safe handle too. just popped right in half. soo it sucked because i was almost done sharpening too soo it was sharpened as the blade was sticking out. i think i might get a model like ur good baisong...

  • I am NOT impressed

  • I knew it was going to be a revolver for some odd reason. Just saying in my head, "It's a revolver... revolver...revolver. Omg it's a revolver"

  • oh nice single six

  • im getting a ka-bar

  • I absolutely love the new gun. I always wanted one of those, but every time I find one it's always above my max spending limit. I'll save up a bit and maybe I'll get one :) I'll check my local news paper because I have never thought to do that.

    Great video!

    -Nick

  • My max spending limit..... " My wife wont let me spend my money"....

  • i got a sog flash 2 for my 19th birthday, my dad never took the price tag off of it.. it was around 45 dollars i believe, he got it in kittery maine. that guy payed WAY too much for it to begin with lol

  • Five Stars!!

  • BTW LOVE the new Gun!!

  • LUCKY!

  • ive got a colt 22. peacemaker pretty much same deal as ur ruger

  • cool gun jeff, now you got a revolver...again

  • Man i'm 14 and you ARE one my role models. All those knives, guns, and survival stuff you buy only makes me wish I had a job so I could get them. Especially your Benchmade Model 42. Keep gettin these vids up man.

  • HAHA I GET A LOT OF FROST KNIVES FOR FREE my friends dad used to work for them

  • YAY! FABIOCROW HEHE! :D

  • good buy jeff

  • i must buy nice cheapos or take very good car of them because my cheapos last me upwards of a year

  • I have that gun, and I love it! Don't be ashamed man.

  • dude fabiocrow is a homo

  • im not a super knife collector but i still like to watch your video =)

  • It's it better to load only 5 rounds and have it rest on the empty chamber?

  • the black handled knife... it looks like the bite and safe handles are backwards from usual. That is also a beautiful revolver. Nice find!

  • 500 rounds of 22 for 20 bucks? I can still get 2000 rounds for about 25 bucks in california...

  • Sweet scores man! I had that plastic handled balisong when I was a kid but I broke it... friggin kids.. lol

  • i wish this kind of think happened in canada.

    nice new gear jeff!

  • JEFF!!! i love ruger single sixs' as soon as you can, put the .22 magnum cylinder on it. magnums are amazing. i love my cousins ruger single six. my personal advice for the ruger, when it is loaded, ALWAYS carry it in the 'half cocked' position. the hammer in the forward position can strike the primer. 'half cocked' being the first click of the hammer pull, not the second of the four clicks. nice gun.

    5/5

  • nice deal man

  • One of my friends has that same gun but in mother of pearl!

  • That is a beautiful gun. I'm glad you made that purchase, because I'll enjoy watching you shoot it. I'm still going to grab one up myself if I ever find one. Which, may not be as hard as I'm making it sound, but I don't seem to have much luck.

  • the 22, has a nice satisfying cocking to it, i might pick one of those up.

  • You can get knives in the US? im in california, and thier illegal, or so i thought, can you give me some info on how maybe i can get one? (im 13 so no online payment will work ) Thank you for your time!

  • yes you can. most will be folders and such...

but wait until you get older... you'll get options then.

  • folders? Im looking for butterfly knives, idk what you mean by folders.

  • now thats a nice 22.

  • how much did you pay for the whole setup by setup I mean everything.
