@bassman3294 you should listen Robert C. Guy, another black bass singer who sang with the Acappella group in 1995, and listen Ronaldo Fagundes, a brazilian black bass singer who sang with the Arautos do Rei Quartet (the brazilian version of The King's Heralds) from 1996 to 2002 =D

@prettycountrygal In Southern Gospel a capella, that part is known as "utility" tenor. If you'll notice, the singer to his immediate left is actually singing the full tenor part. The guy you're talking about (Willie Frank Lewis) just adds the "color" from the tenor range.
