I remember what was going through my mind when the first time i heard this song... someone i loved very much had just died and my wish was that he'd still be with me. It was a very sad time but i still love that song.
hey fellas this a great song on my top five freestyle ballads, thinking of you, safire, promise me cover girls, when i dream about you, stevie b,i still believe the original one by brenda k starr, and this classic jam
I gots MAD respect for Expose...but after their first album (which had tons of classic Freestyle IMO), they kind went more "pop". Especially by their third album.
Sweet Sensation kept the "latin hip hop" sound going.
Memories of the late 80's and early 90's come flooding back with this song in Chicago you heard this song I swear played every hour on the hour on B 96
To be honest, while I am glad they arent just standing there like bumps on a log, the choreography in general is a tad distracting from the song. It is a ballad, and inherently doesnt need a lot of choreography. The moves from the background singers at the bridge after the second chorus are particularly distracting. That said, this is an AMAZING song and is currently one of my absolute favorites.
If u like similar tunes check out seduction's could this be love/expose season change/ Agnetha feat peter cetera ...title i forgot/but i would specially like a no.from latoya jackson without you but just searchin and could find it after searches. If someone could post it I WOULD CALL HIM GOD man !!! THx
The Agnetha Faltskog feat. Peter Cetera song is titled "I Wasn't the One to Say Goodbye." Cetera was a member of Chicago while Faltskog was the blonde girl in ABBA.
I sat here and watched this and I went back in time to 1990. I was 19. What a great feeling to reminise. Thanks for posting this Angels. We might have been pals!
I was 13 when i first heard this song in Santa Cruz California. The Monterey Bay and San Francisco Bay was big on playing Freestyle (high-energy) back then, and all their slow jams. Those were the days. This was actually a high quality video compared to all the other low-budget video's for this group. They must have known this was going to be a big hit..which it was. I think #1
The you must be from my generation as I also heard thsi song at the age of 13, during my high school prom nite, poles apart from you in Malaysia. I have long adored these trio lass....i wonder where they are right now...
I was 15 when I first heard this song. I can still remember that night...lying on my bed, hesitant on wether or not I should call this girl for the first time and this song started playing on the radio. As soon as the song ended, I had the courage to call the girl and few weeks later she became my first girlfriend ever. That night, Thanks to this song, my wish did come true...that night, I fell in love with a girl for the first time and I also fell in love with this song...Hmmm,Good old days.
what a beautiful song! it makes me think of my ex and how we split up and now I want her back more than anything......... god it hurts so bad and cuts real deep when you lose the one you'd do anything for!
I was so thrilled when this song hit #1. I remember betting their road manager - Ray - it would & I received a bouquet of flowers after it topped the charts.
Such an awesome song. I know it didn't do too well here in Australia, but should have. Am playing a mixed cd in my car with all the latest hits, but i had to put this on it!! Brings back memories. Someone should cover this.
