the best one was the 8800 standard people would just think this was an old crap phone rather than a classic cool phone

It's a fake 8800 Carbon. Real one has silver letters NOKIA on the rear cover. And menu icons are greyscale or sepia.

1. The front is black, original Carbon is silver.
2. The menu icons are color, original Carbon is sepia.
3. The back cover has NOKIA logo in black, original Carbon has it in silver.
4. Most fake mobile phones are made in Hong Kong :(.
