  • Coraline is really an amazing movie. ♥

  • i love the movie so much. I think there should be a second one!

  • I hate the Other Mother! I would so kill her!

  • I wish it was a lot longer.

  • aw Coraline making her parents from the pillow was a sad part in the movie :'( but was so sweet :')

  • This is why ppl don't like Spiders!

  • @CoolCoraline Trust me, friend. According to those I should be dead about 7 times over :3

  • I wish this was longer, but it can't be. Because you're never alone for long :)

  • best 52 sec of my life... ☻_☻

    free replay button! 0:00

  • When she said goodnight dad goodnight mom I had tears in my eyes. I heard ther is a book series of coraline. Wish I could find it. I am frm london . Do they sell coraline books in england?

  • @Katykool1265 Well of course they do!! I've read the book...and It's set up in London!! So yeah! It's a high chance it will be sold there...kinda like red dog...it's set up in Australia...so why should they not sell it there!!!

PS: I hope I answered your question!

  • "Good night, Mom. Good night, Dad..."

  • The least depressing song in all of coraline :)

  • my favorite scenen, i watched this with my mom and we both cried...

  • Ever since I heard those weird bees sounds In the garden I fell asleep and In my dream I went to my grandpas's house for pancakes then I heard this....'' ???:We Are In Funland sweetie!! Littlegirl:Yay!.....Mother:Whats that noise *I hear bees*.....Every one (starts screaming there lungs out and then I told my mom to hurry up and open the door and I started to panic! and woke up screaming)

  • i love this scene almost made me cry :(

  • @colleenroze I cried at multiple times of this movie.

  • this was my favorite song from the movie!

  • is this the scene's music, where she forms her pillows to look like her parents and falls asleep crying? if so, i kinda teared up a bit watching that scene...

  • @xxJellJessxx then yeah, that's the scene that got me sad. :[

  • @NeoLightElectro Omg DON'T remind me of that! I felt soooooo bad for Coraline there! I literally yelled "WTF! Come on man! I don't wanna see that! That's just depressing!" lol

  • @MrHiddenAssassin i know. only thing that burned in my mind there, was what if all that happened to me? i nearly cried my eyes out. i mean, what IF i found a door taking me to a different world, all of a sudden finding out it's not the place i expected it to be, and find my parents gone, nowhere to be found?

  • @NeoLightElectro Well now the whole door/other world thing is a little extreme I think lol

But I know what you mean with the fact that it makes you think "what if that was me? My parents missing with no explanation?"

Idk why but no other movie I've EVER watched has drawn me in as emotionally as Coraline does every time I watch it.

  • @MrHiddenAssassin true. but i have a huge imagination, so i can come up with anything my heart desires, just i never share any of it with anybody. but true. coraline is a very, very unique movie and that's why i love it so much.

  • @NeoLightElectro Amen! Lol

  • Good god i love this movie.

  • Lol When I saw the title of this, i thought of Squidward in that other dymention, saying Alone, Al0Ne ALLLLOOOOONEEE and whatnot.

  • I'm french and is not my language

  • I THINK its french? but Im not sure.

  • @xXAuthorAngelXx it's gibberish

  • what language is the young girl speaking?

  • I want have the CD of the Coraline's music

  • This song is really special... and I think that the cracked voice makes it even prettier.

  • I love all the soundtrack and the movie...IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE EVER!

  • Their voices are so cracked because they are ghosts then but later their voices are beautiful. This part was sad. Trying to be with her parents with pillows

  • I always played this song with repeat on my I-POD. I used to sit by a pond by my house where there were ducks and geese and I would feed some of my lunch leftovers from school. Hearing this song calms me and makes me think a lot. I love the movie andsound track.

  • so short, but so beautiful... ^.^

  • Beautiful ^^ <3 <3 <3

  • When I saw Coraline make her parents and wished them goodnight, I cried and texted my Mom and Dad that I love them

  • ☻◡☻

    Wybie: Thats poisen oak

    Coraline: GAHHH

  • i wantt a doll that looks like me

  • if ur french, reply me and say "I". and talk tell me how to spell the words in this song, so i could go on google--> more----> tranlate-----> English-To-French

Si votre francais, me repondre et de dire I. Et dites-moi comment epeler les mots dans cette chanson. Pour que je puisse aller sur google, plus, de traduire.

(took me a while to translate that and actually get it down for the french ppl.

  • This will forever be my favorite movie.

No matter how many I see; I will always love the childish, innocent vibes it gives off, with eerie and disturbed undertones.

    Like any great fairytale.

  • @RandomKPluver true dat!!!!!!! *coraline bump*

  • @MizzFierceluv :D Alright~! Haha!~

  • *Coraline makes her parents*

    Coraline:"Good night mom"

    *kiss*

    Coraline:"Good night dad"

    *cries herself to sleep*

  • @jmorphiscave that part in the movie made me cry

    T.T

  • @Minwolv oh i know right?its so sad.

  • that voice singing is just beautiful for some reason. it has that wierd passion to it that givs me goosbumbs.

  • If you look it up on Wikipedia in the very last paragraph on the article it says "featuring the Children's Choir of Nice and other artists singing in a NONSENSE LANGUAGE" or something like that... I thought it was Hungarian until wiki proved me otherwise...

  • I actually laughed when I realised Coraline was making up her parents out of pillows. Then when she said goodnight and started crying it suddenly was not funny. I started crying instead

  • [Coraline is laying in her parents' bed]

[Coraline makes her parents out of pillows]

Coraline: .... Goodnight, mom.. *kisses the pillow*

... Goodnight dad.. *kisses and starts crying herself to sleep*

  • @PurpleMysticDew oh wait you already mmade that !

    lol!

  • only 52 seconds? that sucks and this song makes me sad... :"(

  • Its a good song but waaayyy to short!

  • it makes me cry... :( poor coraline!!

  • I have the book on my nookcolor.

I really want to buy the movie. It was amazingly made, and dark. You hardly see any kid's movies that are disturbing these days :) The soundtrack is also spectacular, it has a playfull yet dark appeal to it in each song.

  • This song is beautiful

  • It's nonsense.

  • i watch this film high as hell everyday.

  • The director did infact say, that there is no "language" its all gibberish words, loook it up. ;]] & Yes you'll hear some accents in the songs here & there.

  • For all of you who are asking what the lyrics are or what language it is, it's gibberish or non sense!!

  • Does anybody know the lyrics? some say its french..

Well I know french and that's not at all, but it sounds like.

BTW listening carefully I think its english with some different accent..

It sounds like she is singing: Sad and alone into the funny land genttly humming "ding dong" and we can do funny tears in grey.

or silly alone into the funny land genttly ... and we can tend "felices" bla bla

or and we can tell funny tales in grey

LOL thats the possibilities I listen :DD

  • @petrusvladmir it's hungarian

  • @MrStarrbooty no ? its not. lol.

  • My everything!

  • stupid comment the only cool comment is mine :P:P:P

  • @badcommentgirl LOL. I first I was thinking "What a jerk!" Then I read your user name. :)

  • beautiful :) i luv coraline

  • @DaCorazonDeLuz i know right

  • I absolutely love this song, it is sad, but so beautiful. This part in the movie always makes me teary-eyed!

  • i have a forest behind my house that would go with mechanacal lulaby because there is darkness.....but when you go deep enough, there is blinding light.it makes me think of being...home alone at day time, with no power, with ghost children singing......

  • @rednaruto45 i wish i had a forest behind my house...

  • I was watching this movie at night one day, and decided "Hey, im going to make a doll that looks like me with button eyes." And I did. It was super cute! It gives my sister the creeps though. So I made her one! She hated it though...

  • @Chococat2751 haha that sounds fuuuun!

  • @Chococat2751 How did you make this exactly?! That is awesome

  • @Chococat2751 omg! awesome! i really want to make one but i don't have the right equipment to make it

  • @Chococat2751 i made a me doll once, then i locked it in my wardrobe because it scared me so much. then i got used to it, and gave it to daughter so i'd always be with her.

  • Like if you really want to make your own doll or find a little door with another world less dangerous or if your willing enough very dangerous exactly the same as Coralines? :D

  • @TheMazzieCat I do :D

  • Comment removed

  • its not a language ppl its jus gibberish sung to a beat..an it rocks!!!

  • Its actually, well how do I explain it... Well you see, that gibberish is sorta like language that children and adults(somethimes) hear in there minds.

  • @Chococat2751 ohh lmao kool explaination!!!

  • Ive seen this movie 20 times!! i love it!!! and the songs!!!

  • this song sounds really sad... 0_o

  • haha, this is NOT French. It's gibberish.

  • @TheWolven12 it isnt obviouse cus its gibbberish

  • @TheWolven12 actually its called gibberish

  • @isaorbiso ...no, it's French. e_e

  • I think it's the saddest bit when she makes her parents out of pillows and starts crying , imagine how you wud feel at her age if you thought your parents had been taken

  • @ladychaza96 im 15 and if i found out if my family was taken i would be crying but i wound get some wepons and try to find them

  • Who sang this pls Reply on this message Dx

  • @kashimashima52 The lead singer for the Children's Choir of Nice. Her name, oddly enough, is Coraline.

  • @kashimashima52 Her name actually is Coraline.

I became obsessed with Coraline so much I researched every detail of it and I think the singers name is where they got Coralines name from and the name of the film.

All I need to do know is buy the book! :D

  • @TheMazzieCat the book is amazing!!! but wybie isnt in in :( the other mother is WAYYY creepier in the book!!! O_o

  • I wish ti was longer :/

  • me too i was crying into bursts when she was all alone i cant imagine how coraline felt

  • its really sad becuase in this part you see her as a child missing her parents and its a big thing becuase shes always so cocky and "whatever"

  • i remember i read this book ad got compleatly enchated by it. I've laways had this thing for creepy stop motion films, i think the fact that they scare me is why i like them.

They remind me of my dreams; scary. :-)

  • almost cried but held it in becuase my brother was there with me

  • You all probably figured out by now that it wasn't a voice crack :3

  • @TombRaiderGirl79 what? what was it then?

  • Love this film! , creeps me out abit though :( but love the dogs :D

  • *sniff*

  • oh my gosh..the part where Coraline tried to make the pillows look like her parents when shes all alone in bed.. that made me wanna cry

  • @BlinkinFirefly...and wen she sed & kissed goodnight 2 the pillows? omg. Yes, i almst cried @ that part. so sad....=( *sniff*

  • Wow coraline has a big effect on people. for some shes an inspiration for others shes thought as just a character

  • The part where her parents are gone makes me cry everytime because it reminds me of when I get really homesick.

  • amazing <3

    it makes you cry.............=(

  • *huming*

  • this song is really sad,is there a longer version than this?

  • I remember hearing this song over a year ago in the theader... I cried... I still cry when I hear this... reminds me of a lost friendship........... I guess......... some people never change.......

  • i think coraline's house is a little bit worse than others than kids her age but she was exaggerating to live in her other house

  • this was the part which kinda made my eyes teary... TT^TT

  • I remember this music... I cried at the scene when she fell asleep in her parents bed, sobbing. ;A; Poor Coraline....

  • really love this movie.. watch it everyday.. i lost count :)

  • @momozumishino me too! i watch it b4 bed

  • @brownsuga1212 Haha, you too? The music and colors helps calm me to sleep, in a way...

  • @RandomKPluver yeehh that's what it is..... music and colours :)

  • i love the hole coraline musik variants

  • Omg I should play this the next time I read this scene in the book, this song makes me cry every time!!

  • also, it's not gibberish. It's just hard to understand her dialect. Exploration starts out with "Silly Elaine..."

  • @Goblins911 The actual music is gibberish, but it's based on poems from the book Coraline.

  • @pimasta314 Is it? I don't remember any of the poems in the book sounding like this.

  • @Goblins911 ..Who's Elaine? XD

  • um, in the scene where she's in the bed, I'm pretty sure there is singing in it. Because you can hear the words mother and father sung by the woman who sang Exploration.

  • Even though it's all in gibberish (as it was basically proved in the DVD), people are still going to try and "translate" it into a sensible language. I think it's something the brain does automatically, it's trying to draw connections. There's a technical word for that, but I can't remember it.

On that note, I agree that the scene with Coraline in her parents' bed was very emotional. You really could feel how scared and alone she was. :(

  • It's effing french not jibberish

  • So what you're saying is that you know more than the people who made the movie. Interesting...

  • @LethalLaurie sorry sorry! I was misinformed.. some dumb people decided it was french. I did some research and turns out these people had the wrong info. I'm sorry if I offended you or anything. It's a 'nonsense language' according to what I have now read. Again I'm sorry about this. I should have done my research first...

  • @GreerRobertson No, I wasn't offended or anything. Don't worry about it. :)

  • it is so sad when coralin crys in her parents bed i acuatlly cried in that part

  • I know,I wanted to hug my mom at that part.

  • from 0.31 to 0.32

  • voice crack?

  • HAHAHA!

  • this song is so familiar for my i min the name of the song jajaja

  • its in like hungarian i think i dont think its jibberish

  • No. It's not Hungarian. It's just instrumental singing. It's sounds.

  • it is hungarian, you're right, the song is actually just a part of the song Exploration on the soundtrack, this is just a short version

  • sitting alone, eating my family, gently eating dough, and i want to live gently

  • Woah- eating my family?! That's not living very gently.

  • ahaha : ))

  • i heard people cried on this part........

  • Sitting alone

    Lost without family

    Gently wanted to die

    And I can't tell-

Where my chance in the world?

  • Compare those lyrics to these lyrics:

    Silly yee lun

An gee lup "family" jet lee

    "Mom" hun ting dum

Antoo guh tem feh lee chance

    Een "new world"

Pay close attention to the fact that in between the nonsense language, it still says:

    -Family

    -Mom

    -New World

  • woah... creepy....

  • buddy wats ur gist? >:)

  • The only word i clearly hear is "Felice" : )),but nice interpretation!; )

  • Silly and new. And he won't find it here. Chanting and waiting there. And where can't I bring in chance in here?

    lol I donno.

  • To me she says, "Sitting alone, pretty family gently, wanting to die, and I, can't tell, where Ms. Jonesy, is now..."

  • Hey! That doesn't sound half-bad! Obviously, I can't tell if it's true or not, but I like it ^_^
