@RedStrat I can't answer that because I'm probably the crappest fusion player on the planet. It's sweet, doesn't have too much bite, retains definition under the most pressing conditions (the rest of the band..) and I love it. That's all I can tell you. :)
@hayabusafmw Hehe. Thanks. You DO know that I'm clueless when it comes to theory, right? I just make everything up, pretty much. However.. I think that's a fairly straight minor blues scale with a flattened 5th thrown in (Eb). Purists, please chime in. :)
Brett, how would you compare this pedal to a Lovepedal E6?
Does it break up earlier or later than the E6?
Or in other words, how well does the 72 degrees clean up?
I have an old black E6 with two toggles on it (great pedal), however my Les Paul drives it harder than I would like. I keep the drive most of the way down, sometimes all the way down.
I can only speak for my white E6 but it is definitely far more aggressive than the 72. The 72 is smoother and has a different resonant peak frequency, one that I prefer over the Lovepedal. It won't clean up completely but comes very close. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching. :)
Indeed it is, Ronaldo. It's right up there with your Space-O-Verb. People, please take note: The Alien Space-O-Verb is a superb pedal. There's a demo of it on my channel. Check it out. ;) Just the thing to complement this outstanding OD.
Haha! That''s the intro to the Alice Cooper band's 'No More Mr Nice Guy'. One of many classic tracks from their seminal 'Billion Dollar Babies' album. A classic. :)
love the slash tone bit at 1:45

Sounds almost just like an 808 tubescreamer but a little smoother, very very nice sound!

Hey Brett:
What's the name of the song you're playing at 1:13 ??
Sounds so familiar, but I just can't place it...

LOL Being an old Alice fan from the VERY early days, I caught that one right away. And who says musicians don't have a sense of humor!?! ;-)
