I love how the Japanese version of the game uses that sound effect that sounds like those old fighting movies when somebody lands a hit. They had to change the sound in the English version b/c it apparently sounded to violent...freaking retarded.

In fact, it is gameshark. It comes with the emulator. When you kill the masterhand, the game crashes. You can also unlock metal mario, giant DK, and all the polygons, as well as secret levels...

in response to the first four posts, they probably used a gameshark/codebreaker/other cheat device. the downside is that the game freezes after the battle is over (probably because theres no animation for master hand winning) so you have to restart it every time.
