  • Uhh... This is E minor

  • This is in E minor, not E.

  • Did a couple licks with pinch harmonics made some sweet, sweet noise

  • Sounds like The Jack ;)

  • my new favorite hobby; improvising the blues!!!!

  • if u want check this solo on the dark blues jam track /watch?v=wpinVpZf5Vo&feature=channel_video_title :)

  • Its Em

  • @AngeloMateus i agree its Em

  • Ahaha..... A picture of Vai on a blues track. The irony.

  • @StillStuckLearning xaxaxaax like!!

  • @StillStuckLearning I guess somewhere there's a picture of BB on a Melodic Death Metal backing track too.

  • wheres Cm

  • YEEEAAAAHHH!!!!*****5/5+

  • why don't creamer take responses? I have tried on other Videos and NOTHING. They are good to see how other players play these tracks out. I seen a few that the channel has accepted but dunno, maybe they do not have the time.

  • This sounds very much like The Jack by AC/DC

  • @TheVickers123

    same key i belive

  • @TheVickers123 because the jack is a classic blues track...

  • @CreamerMusic u should hear it....if u can't......blind b-ness

  • More tremelo!

  • I'm feelin it brother!

  • using open e sounds great. thanks.

  • you can use E major pentatonic- E minor pentatonic- B minor Pentatonic- F# minor Pentatonic- E minor- E major- E mixalydian. these are my norm for a simple blues vamp

  • vai?

  • @slash646 yes

  • its a and b

  • Thx uploader for the HQ tracks

  • I think the shuffle can be both Major and minor since it's not a chord it all depends on what kind of sound you want. Minor will sound very hardrocky where as major will sound more rock 'n rolly I guess ^^

  • I guess you guessed wrong.

  • Why?

  • So Cool !!!

  • this is cool, baby

  • Someone tell me if the key isn't right. Thanks.

  • It is in E but its major.

  • @Sifis0308 it's undefined it can be major or minor

  • it's in B. the rhythm guitar is chorused a lot, which maked the tonal center really weak. it's in Bmajor.

  • Just to settle this thing bout the key, its E, but you can play both E major and minor pentatonic over the top cos they're using dominant 7th chords. If your feeling a little more exotic, use an Emixolydian which is just an E major scale but with the 7th note lowered a semi-tone (from D# to D) which will compliment the dominant feel.. hope this helps....( BTW - Bmajor wud be out of key but you can use a Bminor scale as long as you focus on the E note as the root, this would give a Dorian sound)

  • @opilus that is not dealing with the issue of key, but with what scales can be played over it.

  • the first thing i said is 'its E'!! lol then i went on to mention the scales that could be used including E Mixolydian.. this is because the implied chords are dominant chords.. the last part of the comment was relating to the confusion over the Bmajor scale you mentioned, i was simply stating that due to fact that this is a I-IV-V in E, the Bmajor would be out of key but Bminor would be in key, this because when playing a Bminor scale over an E, your actually playing a dorian mode (E dorian)

  • @brownbigb dude play a b major scale over it. it doesn't sound right at all it is in the key of e using a 1 4 5 chord progression 1-E the root, 4- A and the 5th- B. it's in E

  • @CreamerMusic it isn't. it's in b

  • @CreamerMusic it is right maybe you're just in another tone

  • @CreamerMusic the key is right, people are just stupid

  • @CreamerMusic

    It's right

  • @Martiborja

if you want to try something a bit wacky try E Mixolydian b6, A Lydian Dominant (Lydian b7), B Phrygian Dominant (Phrygian #3). Each to be played over the respective bass parts E, A and B.

    :)

  • @Martiborja

Oooo, here is a sweet one for you to try; C# half diminished pentatonic (C#m pentatonic with a flattened 5th)

  • @TheGodlessGuitarist

    That's the blues scale....

  • @CreamerMusic

E dorian or Em pentatonic are your best bets.

  • @CreamerMusic its isnt right....its perfect :))

  • @CreamerMusic it's E. unless my absolute pitch is off after last night... haha

  • @CreamerMusic its in E, dont worry

  • @CreamerMusic Is in E not in E minor, try to play it in D minor

  • @CreamerMusic , it's definitely in E mate.

  • @CreamerMusic its quite right man, E

  • @CreamerMusic i believe its Em not major
