~Peter~ I have missed you and your music....I picked this song to be sung at my Daddy's funeral which was 19 years ago and a dear friend sung it while I played piano....I love the way you performed this...God bless you and your family ....
@Ivoryticklermama Joan, how wonderful to hear from you again, and thankyou so much for your kindness, I'm really wanting to do some more on utube but life has ben soooo busy lately, I'm still doing live entertainment and enjoying music ,thankyou again and may God continue to bless and keep you all in these uncertain times, love Peter
Peter, I am a nurse and one of my working partners and I were talking about this very thing just last night. By the way, recently she had a heart attack and was pronounced clinnically dead a total of 8 times before she was stabalized. She cannot stop talking about where she was during that time. Her main point is that "This 'World Is Not My Home" . Thanks for sharing this with us.....Carolyn
@TheCarolyn813 dear Carolyn, how wonderful it is when someone has this assurance of salvation, it's a bonus when they experience such things, and death has indeed lost it's sting for her, praise our God, bless you, Peter
i love this, Peter never heard it quite this way before but i love it, been considering doing this song myself lots of love and respect from south west virginia, USA
If you dont mind me asking, how are you recording your audio and your video? The newer cameras do not seem to have any way to record quality audio except through the built in microphone. I am using ancient camera equipment for my videos as you can tell. Just courious as to how people are doing quality videos with quality audio like yours.
@terrisonb thanks for your comments Terry, i see you have a wonderful channel yourself and i will be coming by again later, as for my recording it,s just a JVC EVERIO with a hard drive and mics situated in front ,built in, the hard drive stops the whir that you often hear in the camera, it wasn,t expensive about 200 euros in Spain where i live, see you soon, Peter
@rotwiler50 So you are using the cameras built in mics rather that the mic that is on screen ? I have seen that camera before. Here it is about $300. If it really works that well I may have to get one myself.
@terrisonb hi Terry, no i am using the mike onscreen through a small AER amp, but then the inbuilt mikes on the video camera does the recording, i use the amp just to gt a little reverb, i looked for a vid cam that i could record directly into but found them a bit expensive, peter
Peter, great song. Never heard it before. You have a very expressive style which is easy to listen to. Very inviting. Cool phrasings. Thanks for the experience. Liz
Excellent rendition. I'm not really familiar with Jim Reeves' version. This song was written by Albert Brumley, who wrote over 800 gospel songs. I know it more as the song that inspired Woody Guthrie's "I Ain't Got No Home."
