Does anyone have the sheet music for "John Gordon of Drummuie". I have the sheet music for "John MacColl's Farewell to the Scottish Horse" & "Onaping Falls Centennial Pipe Band" if anyone wants to trade. Thanks in advance
I myself use a very old "R.G. Hardie" brand chanter. It is made from African Blackwood. I wouldn't suggest playing with on of those, however, as it was always terribly out of tune. If you are wanting to buy a new chanter, go with a gibson, or a naill.
@SvenskPiper I can't imagine how old yours is. I have one from 1962 and the holes are like most all modern chanters. I have been looking for one like yours for years.
Any idea of the exact age? Ever got with Jim McGillivray?
