There are some animes that were never meant to be dubbed. This is one of them... You can't do an english dub of an anime that is entirely based on Japanese culture. You just can't pull it off sucessfully...

However, I praise them, the voices match better then I thought.

Konota's voice fits for me because this is an english dub, so all things considered this was probably the best they could do anyway, and its not really uncharacteristic. Doesn't have the same range as Konota's voice in Japanese, but hey, you'd be hard pressed to find someone in english who speaks like the Japanese dub Konota.
