  • As a fellow INTP, good luck. I don't think we fit easily into career categories.

  • FOREVER!

  • movie making?

  • If you are not sure... how can i be of any help. In the end it will be nothing you expected. I figure everything falls into place as it should....afterall life is too mysterious to make plans. As a creative person i just stick to my gunz. Too many great artists to compete with in this world. I believe being different is better than being the best.

  • mbti says you are intp, so look up intp carriers...

    look for 10 most profitable

    10 most secure

    10 most fulfiling

take the one that fulfills all of them the best.

    ..

    Good luck,

do your own research, I know you love research. :)

    Cheers from an (ENTJ) guy.

  • Hey, it's been a couple years since you made this video. I'm curious what you've decided on, or if you've decided at all.

  • Singer-songwriter.

  • I see you as an artist (music, painting, etc), working at PR, writer, company representative, teacher (great way of explaining things), ...

  • Being an INTP myself I think avoid doing anything which involves public relations I am an Animator and i love the job because it gives me enough scope to express myself through the art . you can be a professor ,research scholar or a spiritual guide , you can be a good artist too , i find in my profession , that though i can give structure to an assignment pretty fast and can take it to a fare level of details , i fall short at refining it , since i loose interest .

  • Being an INTP myself I would suggest , avoide doing anything which involves public relations and appearing before the mass, not that INTP's never did that and many of them succeeded but thats not the natural route and involves a lot of pain, I am an Animator and i love the job because it gives me enough scope to express myself through the art .

  • I could teach you piano and/or guitar and/or music theory if you move to Australia.

  • Objective Career or Subjective Career? Facts or Opinions? Left Brain or Right Brain?

What Career choice did you end up going with? Befor you say anything, in this economy let me take a guess and you are back in school working on a Masters having had no luck in finding a job?

    Just Curious?

    BrainChild..

  • Be an actress!

  • @bobosinhell Actress? How about a Doctress?

  • Comment removed

  • Airport security.

  • Schoolteacher!

I know it's a lot more work than it's worth (which is why I'm not one), but every fiber of your 'aura' (or something) says 'SchoolTeacher!'

Maybe it's just our hair color; part brown, part blond, fully Awesome!

  • i think that you should sing.

    specifically, broadway.

    take the chance!

  • I wish I could help you but I can't even help myself in that regard. However, I did come up with the best joke ever:

According to Kant, what would be considered morally acceptable behavior in a restroom?

    give up??

    ...to do your dooty! ahahaha

  • @Salsaman009 Okay now that I see it in print it was a horrible idea, BUT I'm tired of the whole "Kant" sounding like "can't" joke-thing. Christ! Kant we pick on somebody else??? :)

  • I had wanted to ask what you ended up deciding to study if you made a decision.

  • I am the same way, I just assume I'll figure it out one day. Career though? I would find a job not a career. Career create dependence (you rely on it to be there 20 or 30 years down the road, not good in a bad economy), jobs are expendable (you can move from one to another as you fancy, for what ever reason, as you never expected to be there 20 years in the first place).

  • Not sure if you figured it out yet - but the book PathFinder by Nicholas Lore is a great career decision making book for right brained people.

As an INFP, I ultimately decided to do a job where I enjoyed it & had some time to myself in it to think (or listen to NPR ;) and pursue my vision / ideas / passions on the side in a way that aloud me to be true to it.

I may try and move to a more creative company in the future. We'll see. My true dream job is to b paid to ponder / brainstorm ; )

  • We are so similar---it's quite scary. You are intelligent, multidimensional, intuitive and perceptual. Creativity is important for you to be satisfied with a career, so think high level design: architect, engineer, industrial designer, artist, photographer, composer, writer, advisor for a think tank?

I'm in electrical engineering (too detailed), also studying recording engineering, and working in the music industry doing acoustics research & design.

The world needs your powerful, flexable mind.

  • How about art and/or music therapy? you could start your own clinic. have to go to grad school first though.

  • Well you did say you were good at Photoshop nd stuff and your a good writer what about working for a magazine something along those lines hope that helps. Mabel advertising or idk haha I'm in the same boat except Im unsure about about whut type of classes to even think about taking in interested in a lot of things also.

  • You could try proving free will by making a controversial career choice such as a philosophical porn starlet. I would just love seeing a scene where John Galt is mercilessly fucking Ayn Rand up the arse.

  • @Dovenpeis This is not helpful for this sweet young lady!

  • @inquisitive66

Anything broadening the perspective on this sweet young lady’s philosophy is helpful for her.

  • I'm also an INTP and, while I think we do need a bit of outside pressure - deadlines and so on- we also need space to be creative and think up solutions on our own. It looks like you have an interest in thinking a lot about the 'human condition', logic, trends in human thought...so I'd recommend Psychiatry, Journalism, or something science related

  • Dear Existentialistcat, Career? Einstein (an intp) said the ideal job for him would be a lighthouse keeper. "The duties are light, and there is plenty of time to think." Unfortunately,

almost all lighthouses these days are fully automated.

    Yours,

    Bruce

  • Dear Existentialistcat, It is probably too late now to go Saint John's College in Annapolis. I wish my parents or high school counselor had told me about it. For 4 years everyone is studying the same great books.

    Yours,

    Bruce-------9nesteg

  • Dear Existentialcat, Teaching may not be the solution. I could not stand it! Just because we are brainy people does not mean we intp's should go into teaching. At least half of the class, does not care, majoring in cell phones, etc. I have three degrees and have been a security guard for 30 years. No prestige, but I have privacy and peace and quiet.

    Yours, Bruce

  • career anxiety . . . .

  • self-employed is the way to go for INTP's as long as u surround yourself with people that would be efficient at actually making your ideas a reality.... unless you can find a job somewhere as a "think tank". Maybe create a "think-tank" company. If you get some better ideas, let me know as I'm 20 and in the same boat.

  • there's always suicide

  • you should find a benefactor like me

  • If you want to do something performance related that doesn't involve marketing your appearance(at least as far as I know) you could look into voice acting.

  • i guess u can be a graphic designer

  • financial analytics?

  • A lot of the INTPs I know become good software developers. The profession is unique in that it lets you exercise both your rational skills and creative skills simultaneously; in it's most pure form, I'd call it applied philosophy. Unfortunately, it requires a lot of specialized knowledge, but if you're clever enough that's not a problem. I'm INTJ; instead of just writing software, I use it as a business tool.

  • Check out this site "screw work lets play" he argues it is better for unstructured creative people to work for themselves. he shows how to meet deadlines. see what you think.

  • Literature, children’s books. You could illustrate as well. Maybe take some early childhood development, and or child psychology classes. And this is no joke, but watch Mr. Rogers, and try to realize what he’s doing. Perhaps get a start by working for a publishing company. You’re perfect for it.

  • your a woman. you sohuldnt be looking for a career. you should be looking for a successful and attractive man to be your mate. that's the nature of woman. its unnatural for a woman to seek a career just like its unnatural for a man to stay be a "stay at home dad."

  • I'm pretty much the same, I did an enneagram test and came out as a 4w5 so I spend most my time lost in my thoughts, fantasies etc. I hate the idea of repetition in something I really dont believe can enrich my life i.e 9-5. I dread regret as I think there comes points in your life when certain boats pass. I'm artistic and stubborn with respect to commerce, business, confinement, structure.

  • dont do hard drugs youl go crazy

  • Become a Nuclear Physicist...

    :D

take the career test, but I think you'd make a hot microbiologist...

  • Problem is people try to force some kind of career out of their passions, rather than just pursuing them. If you embrace and seek to further your passion, then something will come along naturally. Although stressing yourself out to force a career to arise out of something you love will eventually turn that love into something you hate.

  • @jiggpuff I agree, don't try to force it based on your type or what a test says you'd be good at. Think about what your work environment will be like. I majored in graphic arts. As an IMTP, I was stifled by deadlines and at my gig, I disregarded the manger's authority. Oddly enough, those experiences led me to film production. I love the variety of challenges in the day to day and, although its a ppl oriented biz, the higher ups don't care how you get the job done as long as it gets done.

  • Plus there's a lot of what we refer to in the industry as "hurry up and wait" time, basically waiting for other ppl to do their job before you can do yours...Anyways, it gives you plenty of time to ponder the universe....and get paid at the same time!

  • I'm an INTP and have no clue WTF I wanna do...

  • do law as a career, it keeps your options open for the future. Keep thinking in meanwhile, becouse thats what philosophy is all about right? Try to get into politics as a hobby or sideturn. Above all try to stay sencere like you come accross, great asset. greetings from dutchyland

  • Focus on your strengths. It appears you are creative and many companies want creative people. Areas where you can use your skills could include advertising, media, creative design, even sales. Continuing in another discipline may not be a bad idea either. The suggestion to look at Law School is actually a good idea.

  • Have you ever thought of law school?

  • I am guessing money doesn't mean much to you being an INTP. We aren't too material. I am an INTP. I graduated with a political science degree in 2007 summa cum laude and went to Korea. Following my year teaching English at Korean public middle schools I got home just in time for the financial crisis tsunami. I subsequently joined the NJ Air National Guard (which is great, because it emphasizes lots of the things I need help with) and ended up graduating top of my class at basic/tech school.

  • professional jewelthief... hahaha... (see lancecryor's video response)..

no, I'm kidding. marry me and let's move out in the woods.. *psycho* %)

  • There's no need to take philosophy so much seriously in the 3rd Millenium. Science can solve most of our problems and makes us happy. Philosophy nowadays has just become a historical study of the past thinkers. If you want to deal about the thinking of the present and future, Science is the new philosophy. Science all day!!

  • @Neueregel

This is a philosophy of someone who doesn't understand what philosophy is.

  • Your headed in the right direction. It always bugged me how the faculty shunned imagery from essay's. I wrote this one called Regresszilla and I put a comic cover of Godzilla on the front of the page. What I am saying is don't think you have to go in any one direction, I think you just have to be creative. I'm currently working as a volunteer enjoying life, Careers are a social misrepresentation of success, be yourself. Do performance art with all your interests combined.

  • I think you should work on being a singer, You prob, need to work on not judging yourself to much and just let it rip! I think (((You))) are a rock star.

PS I am old enough to be your Dad so Im not just Dogging after you, Thats just what I see you doing

  • Definitely teaching. Why? You do youtube videos. Kind of ironic, eh?

Someone else said politics. Well, a new law passed about allowing unlimited corporate financing, meaning politics isn't viable.

Basically, teaching college level with what you love most. What do you love most?

  • I just typed "arglbrgh" in the YouTube search engine and this came up because it's in your video discription. I must take umbrage with the fact that arglbrgh is not mentioned nor discussed in this video. When someone wants to see a video about arglbrgh and it is absent in the body of the video then a fraud has been perpetrated and a gross malfeasance sends ripples of discontent strewn across the internet atmosphere and colors become distorted and pale. Where is my arglbrgh? BAHHH !

  • In my opinion, one flaw with the world today is that people like you never enter politics. So there's a thought.

  • @inkstersco Why would she want to spoil her values by becoming a whore to the masses. Fuck politics.

  • Journalism?

  • why do u apologize for not making videos,it ur own choice and anyway mostly people that watch ur videos are men who like blondies,if ure an artist then I think u pretty already know what u want to do with ur life,go find a professional career-consultant in universties, stop seeking so much for attention!

  • i feel this way, all the time

my conclusion is , i'm going to be a nihilist drug dealer/ film director

  • You now sometimes, msost of the time in fact, yes men are a bad thing. Sometimes the most hel;pful people are the ones who say that which you don't want to hear. This is because most often that which we don't want to hear is the truth. Yes men, like most of what are men responding to this person, are simply telling her that which she wants to hear, not what she needs to hear. This is a bad thing, for certain. Cat, you need to be more open, and hear more of what you don't want, that's my advice.

  • Proficiency comes with time, patience, and use of said thing. You must have an open mind, and try all those things that are within the scope and field of the things you know you enjoy. In truth there is that one thing that when we do it, we feel within us a joy and release that nothing else can give. If you have found such a thing, find a way to turn that into a career. It is not complex, and merely requires an open mind, and for one to be willing to try many things. Simple doesn't mean easy.

  • Save money, you'll need it, next year will be bad bad bad.

  • Ok throw everything u know away. Model!!!! Lol

  • Use the GIMP. Much better than Photoshop, and it is free. I hope you become a game developer, and you join my team (just me, for now!)

  • try following MIT, yale, stanford and berkeley video lectures that are on you tube edu as well as ted talks on all areas

to get an idea about what would be the best at least for now even tech and science should be experienced

  • I suggest working in the film industry, a nice one. :)

  • Art media....sounds like you will be pole dancing very shortly.

  • Neurology?

  • Actually, Brain Surgery. The reason is because it's more "big picture" than Neurology. The later has soooooo many variables and reactions to treatment. While a surgeon is more straight forward.

Imagine if someone came to you saying that the they had headaches all the time? Or were very sensitive to light? Or felt sleepy all the time after a trauma.

And then, imagine if you could help them!

  • How about a photographer for National Geographic aye?

Because you like art, animals, and photography.

    Voila!

  • This just came on the screen and it's from June, what? I can't read 323 comments. graphic design Dept. fashion mag., art therapist but can be traumatic. You're generation will redefine career in a more personal way. Learn what you can then brake the mold , reset everything why not? Don't let your personal life destroy it. Speaking woman to woman. be careful..I think you have good self direction though.

  • I just viewed I couple of your vids and I sense that would should continue with art. It seems like that is were your heart is and what you enjoy. You have an energy that is very creative and that comes out in your love for art. Always follow your heart and if that means being an artist/painter then go for it. Anyway what ever you choose make sure its something that makes you happy. Take care.....Much Respect

  • Picking blue berries

  • How about Princess?

  • Modeling?

    Writer?

  • journalist. You can see the stress in your eyes. you're still really hot though.

  • If you have interest in video games, you could be a video game artist/designer, it requires every skill you have (including psychology), and working in the games industry is structured but not constrained which helps in eliminating awful routine that you would find in other non-intp-friendly jobs.

I found myself in a similar position to you a few years ago, and it seemed that a job lacking art is boring, while jobs lacking logic is mind damaging, I settled to something that requires both. :)

  • Physiologist Physiologist Physiologist Physiologist Physiologist Physiologist Physiologist Physiologist

do whatever you can. and as much of it.

Don't stay in one place. you'll find the path!

  • sure you're not already an actress? you remind me of jane krakowski or charmian carr. just kidding, the idea of a career may have changed over time. at one time people would work in one trade for their whole working life, then they retire. Now, it probably wouldn't be outrageous for a person with many interests, like yourself, to have multiple careers without being perceived as someone who can't keep a job or stay put

  • Wherever you go, if you end up displeased with it, you can ALWAYS go back to school and learn a new skill.

  • Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model Model

  • My teachers- who are also nurses- are very patient and surprisingly accepted my anti societal ways. I do realize that when practicing nursing I am practicing a form of stoicism that eliminates all judgement/criticism (even my own criticisms toward other philosophies).

That and if you complete the program you get inducted into a medieval guild called the Hospitalers. Their guild emblem is a downward pointing sword with eagle wings and a snake coiled at the bottom of the blade.

  • go study philosophy. you will have fun reading the greatest books ever written from the greatest minds ever borned.then switch to modeling make money take drugs have tones of sex gaze the sky and suicide.fucking awesome.over and out.

  • Hahaah. Nursing... I just got my RN lisence despite telling all my teachers I don't believe in free will and "caring" is merely an opinion that changes over time from society to society. I told my instructors about Aristotle's logic and men being more philosophical than women. I told everyone that I am in school for health insurance and to fill a demand in the economy.

A research paper guided me to where I am today. The local hospital pays me 28.50/hour fresh out of a 2 year program.

  • Just from the couple of videos I have watched of yours, I believe you would make an excellent Nurse. Most people think of nursing just as bedside in the hospital, but it is much more than that. There are many opportunities in nursing and I am sure you could find a specialty that would fit your personality. Ultimately though you must decide for yourself, for nursing isn't a career to take lightly. Good Luck to you, dear.

  • As far as I know you are a very good singer-composer. That could be an option.

I know its not so easy for some people to focus in a particular interest when they have a lot.

I also think you could be a good teacher, but if you think you have what it takes to be a physicist.. That would be great.

  • Model

  • Porn! It's a no-brainer.

  • ur an ass

  • Kim, I think you should become a tattoo artist.

  • you might want to consider that what you like to do might feel different if you do it because its a job and you have to. I do hope you do end up doing what you like.. comparing to other stuff in life finding the right career is actually one of the least complicated things as you do retain an element of contorl. and working in a big company is a good thing, as it gives you choices. working for yourself requires discipline and being able to work by yourself.

  • Nurse. You have a soft bedside manner and healthcare will be a growing industry.

  • Teach, you're already so good at it

You yourself have already learned so much and have fostered all of your passions so well. It would be a waste not to manifest these talents into generations to come. ~BJo

  • Roll your art degree into a career in video games!

Seriously take your music to the next level, post on iTunes and get a few bucks now and then. Also get a band.

I second a shot into acting.

Intern at an advertising studio see if you like it.

    No Illustrator yet?

Sit down and learn it yourself, basically doodle, then reproduce in AI. I have a book for CS2 from Westwood College, I could send to you, it covers the basics.

You'll figure all this career stuff out in time, don't rush.

  • If your a curious person who likes to analyze things, be a writer. Start off in a company and work your way into writing books on your spare time on different things that interests or baffles you. Then publish them, and when the money starts poring in quit your job and wait for retirement.

  • Hiya, This girl made a video about you on youtube.... watch?v=LY7uuchTRZ4

  • My intuition tells me you should be an actress. You apparently like performing for the camera and you are very good at it. Or why not make songs and sell them online?

  • Not about a career, but here's what you should do: Stay centered. Face your fears. Follow your passion. Be curious. Constantly reconsider the way.

  • hmm Travel Photographer? because that's what i´d like to be second to a traveler (they go well together). and your artistic and smart and i thing you'd learn a lot and faster by visiting different cultures. tough it's probably a bit unrealistic, it has yet to stop me from dreaming.

Ps i´d love to see some pictures from your new canon sometime.

  • !

    diplomacy

    !

  • You love an audience so why not go for the stage/ screen?

There are no limits you know. Make the most of your "God" given beauty. It won't last forever.

  • Marketing i.e. "advertising". That's a good one too!

  • Working for museums i.e. "art administration." You can work in the private sector or teach college, H.S. Lots of opprotunities. Gov will pay Tuition if you work for a non profit. Good Opt.?!

  • cough* game art *cough cough* concept artists *cough

  • u should b a model bcuz of your beautiful piercing eyes

  • fgswegt

  • School teacher, nurse, psychologist. By the time you get out of school the economy will be different. It might be worse or better.

  • As a fellow INTP, I would ironically suggest that you go with your heart (and not with your logic, as we INTPs are prone to doing). I was a child of academia for years, before graduating and going on to play music for close to 6 years now. INTPs are prone to feeling lost at times, but just focus in on what fulfils your sense of purpose in the world, and you'll be fine :)

    Levan

Singapore, Asia (Moving to the US soon :))

  • You sound like you may be headed for the world of academia. I hope you can pay for grad school. I've had professors who were pretty good at teaching and who may have been something like you at this age.

  • I don't have any idea how much music theory you have or how good your graphic design and video editing skills are. please post a sample.

  • How about this: I take Pat Sajak's job and you take Vanna's job. Then all the puzzles will have literary references and we can talk philosophy during the last 1 minute section before we say goodbye. Then I'll put my arm around you each night as we wave goodbye. mmmmm daily hugs from Kim ~~~

  • smoke pot and play online poker for marginal winnings to scrape out a type of tolerable existence for yourself. alternatively you could become a nurse and actively apply yourself at a local church. alternatively you could move overseas and teach english have random sexual encounters with fellow expatriots. alternatively you could join a cult of crop circle makers and live vicariously through the belief it instils in other people.

  • haha

  • Sound advice.

  • Combine them. First read Musicophilia by Oliver Sacks. Then become a music therapist. I believe this will be a growing field because of recent findings on music and the positive effects it has on the brain, and you can have your cake and eat it too. ;)

  • You should move to Sweden and study, or work, or do nothing and just hang out with me.

  • soon you people will find out that joining the military will be your best chance at staying alive.

  • try criminal justice, there's a lot in that field...or u look smart enough to work for the C.I.A or something like that..my 2 cents

  • Supermodel.

I'll say it again: picture-perfect supermodel.

  • art director, graphic designer, they are both in advertising

but your gonna need a portfolio, and its gonna have to be good. if you are in college is there time for your masters degree? or just go to the art institute or something like that for two years and make your portfolio. ;D

  • Well I dont know the first thing about you but I can tell you this; if you need structure to get things done, art, music and philosophy are not the careers for you. If theres one thing most extremely creative people have in common its that they lack structure (not to be confused with dicipline). Best advice I can give you is just do what feels right. If it works out, great. If it doesnt, better luck next time. Mistakes are made to learn from.

  • Work for a game company. XD

  • i can see you as a college professor, teaching philosophy....it comes so naturally to you...

but as cheesy as this sounds....do what you love success! do what you can picture yourself being the most happy....follows happiness...if you love what you do, there is a better chance you will succeed than just doing something your good at but dont love necessarily

  • Ah, yet more proof that women don't know what they want. Kim, don't take this the wrong way, but the truth is that careers are for men and housework is for women. I think you should just get married and have your 2.5 children and be happy with that.

  • the only careers left in this world are either education, teaching and management and building trade. has every other skills and industry went east years ago, but that england and not america, has my nan says "if all fails you can still go on the game. remember life is a journey of discovery that is not fated in destiny or barriers of belief. roll with the rollercoaster, because it might not crash.

  • Go for Cognitive Science.

Your mind is logical & rational with a constant grounding in reality, this lends itself perfectly to science. Skip behavioral psychology, because it's not interesting enough. Skip clinical psychology because it's too depressing. Skip art & music because there's no future in it for you, it seems.

Plus, if Obama keeps pumping money into science research, that'll help the job outlook. You also seem to mention cognitive science in every other video I've watched.

  • Clinical Psychologist at a large university hospital.

  • you don't need to have a career, you need to do what you like, you need to feel better then any one doing any stuff, and you need to find the true meaning of what you are doing.

  • having looked at all your Vids and while you may not be 'proficient ' in many - I believe that you have skills that would be suit the development world...

  • You could go to graduate school and get your Ph.D. in art or philosophy. Work hard and you'll get a professorship. You can then learn, read, write, and think for a living. Good luck.

  • I would suggest that whatever you decide on for a career, not to factor the economy into it. The economy will always change. What is going on now will be completely different by the time you graduate, and different again a few years later.

  • Perhaps it's possible to find a regular job such as being a receptionist meanwhile on the side work on your passions until one of them end up making you whole enough that allows you to always focus on.

My background in college is philosophy and creative writing but I work in a dental office as a receptionist. In the meantime at home I'm usually writing my fantasy novel.

    Well, good luck! :-)

  • Please don't come to work in my office.

I would get nothing done. I would be too distracted by your

beautiful voice and your resplendently gorgeous eyes!

    Jimj

  • You emanate a nice persona, you look nice, and you're a thinker. Given a slant for creativity, what do you think about interior decorating or architecture?

  • I'm going to suggest researcher in music cognition. There is funding for this kind of thing if you're willing to travel.

  • Work as a dental assistant. You said you have experience in floss-iphy. nyuk nyuk nyuk

  • haha haha

  • to floss iphy joke

  • Hi! Im glad to see you have a new video (yes, I know Im repeating myself, but its the truth). As for your question, I think I always saw you doing something related with art and culture, you seem to have the right stuff to be a wonderful writer or a musician. But as you say you feel a company environment might be better for you (and also based on your majors) maybe you could look into web design. You could use yor creativity and your art skills to full advantage there... (...)

  • (...) But even so Ill still wait for a book, a play or a CD by Kim... It would be interesting and a career doesnt mean you cant do other things, right? ;)

  • Perhaps Instead of thinking specifically think holistically, is there a career/job in which you could apply all your strengths ?

You are also a gifted communicator, powerfully perceptive , very humane and just; have you ever thought of being a teacher, social worker or guidance counseller ? You are also apparently a feminist , and would be a very positive role model for adolescent women and men in terms of treating others with respect and commanding respect from them .

  • I hear God is missing a few angels these days.. you should sign up.

  • Pick your love; get your PhD; go into teaching.

  • Careers aren't what they used to be. It is more common to have seven year stints in an area and move on to different things. Career is not just one job or company any more. Good luck. Don't fret.

  • When I look at you I think: CARPENTER! :P

Nah, why not study philosophy, psychology, journalism or art? They're pretty broad so you get insight in a lot of different topics which you seem to like ;-). I personally decided by sorting out all the educations I didn't want and finally ended up with a selected few to choose from. Don't think about the present economy though; it's in the present, not future! Chose with your heart :P

I like your quiet, thoughtful and curious way of being btw ;-)

  • It's funny you just made this video. I have similar interests and was just googling around trying to find a career I would actually be interested in, then gave up and went to youtube. I don't have any answer's, but good luck!

  • I don't know how much work expierence you have.if not much.then remember what you are not stuck in one career for life get a job you like and something new.because people can pick up diffent skill from same job.if in compony then decide office or sociol or even indistry/engineer.this can help.remember what i have learned is that tomorrow you going to get older and you want to do something than nothing.you job will probely have social and bussiness/office.think what you can learn and achive

  • i will never be in a career system i will do as many things as i canso i will help the poor, veterans, cure anything bulid stuff, make music i will never get bored and party hard.

  • Design undergound houses for peoples with anziety disorders, sunshine fear and all that.

  • Try asking yourself what are the things u like doing in your life and if any of this things u could actualy do im a company.

I have a degree in Tourism and just finish Administration last month.

  • avon lady sell product u have a,i'am and america girl face nice......lol

  • Graphic Design. You have the heart, creativity and sensibility to succeed in it. Plenty of companies are looking for it. In fact all companies need some kind of graphic designer. There is no for sure way to go about things just get a feel for a career and see if you can really find yourself doing that if not move on to the next thing. I've watched your stuff for a while now and I'd like to think that if nothing else you'll find yourself a nice guy in the future who'll be there for you.

  • What about journalism?, the times they are a' changing. Deadlines, there you go. Plus, seeing the big picture and analytical ability...

Someone must have said this already.

  • Based on what I've heard, there might well be a bigger depression than we dare to imagine, coming sooner than we dare to imagine. Even if that's right though, the world will need Art, ideas and Entertainment as much as ever (imo) - with the proviso that it'll all need to genuinely reflect the changing times. If you feel inspired to go in those directions, I don't think a dire economic forecast should rule it out.

  • Starting at the end, unless your graduation is eminent, the current state of the economy shouldn't be a major factor in your choice of career.

Otherwise there are about four categories for art. Shoot for the moon, sell out, teach or save it as a hobby / weekend freelance. The two big factors that are going to make a big difference in which of those you want are money and job stability... sad as it is, most of the other concerns will pale next to those two.
