If you did any research you would know that bands on the arms are associated with a system of rankings. In organizations such as the military, bands on arms are used to signify rank and membership of the group. So therefore, since ALL of the members of Gogol Bordello can frequently be seen wearing the same arm bands, it signifies the band as a collective. It has nothing to do with drugs.
