This workout is decent, but does it really burn that many calories I was able to do this in a matter of 25 mins, I do P90x so i was wondering if sometimes I get bored of the workouts on P90x do you think I could suplement in these workouts?
i am going to make the 30549285902385rep workout and do 3 reps to show u guys how to do it but i cant complete it myself im just trying to make a video to get turbulencetraining out so i can sell my programs and make more money. haha
kinook69 is right. This is definitely 1075 reps in total. Craig does at one point say "Fif... 100 bicycle crunches". Think he meant 50 as per the first one. That makes 1025. If you get rid of the 25 stick-ups (which I don't like) that'll bring it down to an even 1000. Still a very good and intense workout.
Hi! I was just wondering... Is this program designed for endurance sports? I think bodyweight exercises such as pushups are somewhere along the 50% of one's 1RM... Anyway, sir, can I ask a favor? I'm a sports Karate practitioner and my sport requires power, power-endurance, agility/quickness. I've read that following a Maximum Strength Program and doing Plyometrics produces power. However, I don't have heavy weights to do reps of 90% of my 1RM...
Craig doesn't recommend doing it more than twice a week, if I remember correctly. But three probably wouldn't kill you, depending on your fitness level.
True to a degree, but for rep bodyweight exercises actually mostly do muscluar indurance, and its been proven the best way to get big muscles is weightlifting. When I started weightlifting I was tiny and only had 14inch arms, after acouple of months I was 250lb and had 18inch arms Its differnt areas, both are effective at what they do.
you totally right man, its a little known fact that strength is not how much u can lift. That is only good for show. True strength, or practical, is how much you can push/pull for a period of time.
Most people who think they are "fit" would struggle with something like this. This is a great cross-fit workout because it demands so much energy and strength!!
Its muscler endurance, for size and strength I'd go with lifting. Because differnt fitness exercises do differnt thing fighters try and get it all. Heres an example of a fighters workout- Run acouple miles for arobic exercise
Lift weights for an hour for strength
pushups, pullups,ect for muscle endurance
train of fighting technique. As I said, if you only care about muscle dont do this.
Yes you will. Muscle fatigue is muscle fatigue. As long as there is muscle trauma, your muscles will grow. Navy Seals come out of their training completely jacked and they don't touch a weight the entire time.

I made this a long time ago, but with weights, I called it Project Hades:
200 squat press (regular squat when you can no longer press)
200 pushups (or bench, which ever is harder)
200 box jumps
200 clean and jerk (if you can't press, power clean, if you can't clean, deadlift)
200 rep pull-up (pulldown if you can't do this in 4 sets or less)
All exercises (with the exception of box jumps and pull-ups) are done with 135lb (pulldowns 130lb or 140lb)
I still can't do this all.

I keep coming back to this workout - it's a nice break from weight training but just as intense
Would be great if Craig can substitute some new moves into this

You dont need to put your hands in front to squat, I dont even think it helps or makes it harder.
Ebuverthebicepcurler 3 years ago
you would have to be a beast to do this
areeseish 3 years ago

great vid! do you gain muscle from this workout or is it just for endurance improvement?
t0miLiO 3 years ago
every time you move you use for that muscles. If you use muscles you make them stronger. So yes you will gain better and bigger muscles

SEAL's use sandbags doing many moves with it, other natural equipment, and the log of death (Team Lifting) in their training.
