Nice train etc blah blah blah, but for two 16 year olds to go from Glasgow to London, £300 EACH?! how can you justify that ridiculous price?

@18WATP73 I cannot justify that 'ridiculous' price, seen as am not an Virgin Trains member of staff or set the prices of fairs. However I suggest you change your time of travel, I got a Preston to Londomn for only £14.50 :D

@18WATP73 Haha I would hope so for that price. I have no idea how they an justify such a high price, have you checked the price with a 16-25 railraod... it might be cheaper to buy on for a lower fair. If not I would advise other transport options, including a flight with Bmi or something.

The only thing Virgin are best at is creating claustrophobia in their Pendolino sets, windows way too small, carriges closed in. Not good. And don't get me started on their decision to replace 8 car HSTS with 4 car Voyagers back when they had the XC franchise, thank god they lost it, someone please show Virgin a Wrexham and Shropshire coach. thats how they should be done

@THEHSTFAN 'Franchices' thats news to me only thought they had the West coast. Anyway the Pendolinos and Voyagers will still operate under the new operate and the staff won't be as good or trained aswell.
