I would actually say that abortion is warranted in emergency situations, such as the child would not survive or the mother would not survive. I would also include cases of severe sexual abuse and rape (no eleven year old girl should be the victim of some man's twisted affections. To bring a baby into such a situation would only make things worse. CONTD
Regarding run of the mill abortions, I would actually say there has to be a balance between choice and responsibility. We should not have a society in which the lives of premature infants can be saved from 25 weeks onward and then also have babies being aborted around the same time. I prefer a time frame both sides can agree on. We've been fighting too long over this.
