cant really hear the song... of the ending.. but out of all the other reviews of bonks ending yours is the best one and the most original sound of all it brings back memories when i use to play the game thank you for it =]

I love how NEC gave us turbo controllers for the TG-16. I use to turn the turbo on and have Bonk floating across the screen with those head bunt attacks. But then I'd switch it off on boss fights especially against this boss it was best to hit him with a diving head bunt on the tip of his nose.

@TheArtofUTube Yeah me too! I loved how in Bonk 1 you could pretty much fly with the turbo switchs. That was such an innovative idea especially with the half setting too which was perfect with its 'tap-tap-tap' and its turbo fire.. I loved the ending for Last Alert too which was pretty much a Japanese Rambo and the cool cut-scenes which Sega cd never learned to maximize the cd quality...

That's cool you taped these on VCR, my brother and I did the same thing, it is really glad to see this on vintage VCR the sound is much different than the modern digital recordings. The sound is older, but in a sense it is richer and the ending music has a wonderful meloncholy sound. This sounds just like when I played it as a child because of it being vintage.

I have a Turbo Duo and I have this and Bonk's Revenge - AWESOME games still today. WHERE is NEC!?!? They need to release a 'low' spec system for us! Games would EASILY be like no more than $30 BRAND NEW! Anyone want to research the HuCard Technology?

Thank you for posting this. I used to do the same thing when I was younger (taping video games on VHS). The ending to Bonk and the ending to Super Mario 2 were some of my favorite game endings back in the day.

This is one of my favs from the TG-16. Along with Splatterhouse & Blazing Lazers...Oh yeah and Legendary Axe. Bionic Commando had a cool ending too on the NES.
