  • cool

  • hey so did u use a cylinder in the boom for extension of what method did u use? if u dont mind me asking

  • you make some for sale let me know

  • @vaneyjohn96 : sorry but that will not happen. I'm no more building models.

  • @perrotasdelmal No hablo espanol...

  • @rctruckclubsuisse i wanna know if it is a gasoline engine, and if it uses an hidrahulic sistem, i have one but use electricity and im shure doesnt gonna make it with that cilinder, and how does it sound like a real one.

  • @perrotasdelmal : My cranes are electro-hydraulic model. They use high pressure hydraulic pumps made on purpose (40-50 Bar) and the main cylinder of the boom can lift up to 120 Kg.

The sound is a digital sampled real diesel engine, even the winch and hydraulic pump noise are reproduced.

You may find more information on my Website or in our Forum.

  • can u tell me where can i buy that truck that is cool!!! im a truck driver.i would really like to here from someone about that truck and where i can buy one thanks

  • @ragmancrash as already said, you can't buy that cranes . There are scratchbuilt models, built in only one specimen. The only way if you want one is to build one yourself. Or wait till Im dead and when my wife sells them :-)

  • awsome

  • thanks and happy Christmas to everybody!

  • europe has all the cool stuff :( all the us has are lots of guns :(

  • This isn't true. You have freedom, beautiful countries, the best music...and so and so...I love the U,S..

  • well iment in the rc divstion

  • even in the RC division, there are very active people building interesting models in the States. have a look on the 'Garden Trucking' community website and you will discover nice things.

  • all electric and hidraulic, NO FUEL!!!!!

  • What engines use these vehicles? Fuel or batteries?

  • Is this what guys who make watches do on their day off?

  • I don't make watches :-) but here in Switzerland we have a lot of free time so we use it for our hobbies...

  • how much can the crane lift?

  • Comment removed

  • How much does one of these cranes cost?

  • a lot of money :-) but don't worry, anyway they are not for sale.

  • thanks!!!!!!!! :-)

  • I am amazid At the fine craftmanship and control you have with your models. What kind of speed controlers are you using? Is your engine speed controled by your hoist. Is there anywhere in the u.s. that can produce the quaility engine sound you have on your cranes? I am a fellow crane builder, I built the 150ton R.C. Grove on U Tube. Thanks.

  • thanks for your comment and congratulations for your nice Grove crane. Part of the electronic modules for the sound and other functions are self-built , other components are from Servonaut (Germany) with some modifications to fit the crane specifications and better match the sound of the real engine. For exemple, even the winch function has a matching sound, wich give more realism.

  • wow... 5 ***** GREAT VID!

  • Yeah, great clip of modelcranes

  • Those models look great ! I know you spent a lot of time to build this display.

I did not see the booms in the cranes scope in & out in the video, Do they scope?

    Thanks.

  • thank for your appreciation. Yes, the boom is telescopic like the real cranes. you may see them in my other videos. in one video, for exemple, you may see the setting of the electronic end switchers in the crane LTM 1030 boom.

    regards

  • you said u cant buy it but there r 2 in the video were did u get them?

  • hello

if you read the answers to the other questions, you may see I already replied many times.

    But again:

All the 4 cranes I own are scratchbuilt or if you prefer self-built or home-made.

This means each one is a single specimen. And they are NOT FOR SALE.

I Hope to have been sufficiently clear so I don't need to explain this once again.

    pode me ajudar?

  • ola sou do brasil, e gostei muito desse modelo.

existe modelos como esse para venda?

  • WEre can i buy one of these in the us?

  • you cannot buy it, neither in the US or elsewhere: this the only one existing.

    Regards

    Konst

  • then were did u get 1?

  • scratchbuilt

  • thank you for your appreciation. Of course it is not possible to explain here how the hydraulic system is built.

  • hello! WOW amazing work!

but i need some help! it's for my science's project

i need to know how you built the entire hydraulic system...

    thanks man!

  • no, a Montreux (Svizzera). era il Montreux Minatures Show 2007.

  • how do you get them to sound real like that?? I have never seen anything like this! I love it! I just dont understand how you get them to sound so real, like the engines revving when you are lifting the crane and stuff! GREAT WORK!

  • sound is a digital recording of the real diesel engine. It has four sensors that allows to vary the sound according to the rpm of the engine in use. a little bit complicated but works very well :-)

  • So we will be really pleased to see you at one of our Meetings. Just contact me when you come in Switzerland and I will give you the Calendar of meetings and exhibitions.

    kind regards

    Konst

  • Very Nice Video! You guys really know how to build models and very good crane operators too. Bravo

  • Thank you very much!!! having positive comments like yours is what motivate us to continue building our models.

  • You are very welcome. I am Swiss born and raised in USA, My family is from the Valle Maggia area and sometimes travel to visit. I hope maybe to see one of your shows soon.

  • if you are new to the RC world (and therefore you don't have experience with RC models) DO NOT try to build an hydraulic crane as your first model. These are very complicate models to build, probably the most complicate in this field. You are better to begin with a commercial kit like a Tamiya truck.

  • hello

please check my website, I can't explain the details of the building here it will be a too long message...

  • what is your website? thanks

  • it is in the video titles and even in the description. , It is not allowed put it here..

  • hi i sent you a message on your website i dont know if you can read english i hope you can im sorry its the only langage i know.i would realy like to try to build a crane myself but im new to the rc world please help me if you can.thanks

  • Hi

the cylinders were built expressly for the crane, as those availables to buy (Leimbach or others) are definitively not enough powerful for a crane. The main cylinder of the LTM 1100 has 120 Kg of push at 30 Bar, So if you want to build a crane that can lift a descent load, the only solution is to build your own cylinders and hydraulic system.

  • did you build the hydraulic pump or did you buy it?is the winch hydraulic or electric?the boom out did you build a teliscoping cylinder or is it electric? thanks

  • i like the video where did you get your hydraulic cylinders and hoses and what kind of valves are you useing?what is the pressure runing on the cylinders.ide love to try to build one my self if i knew where to get that small of hydraulic stuff.

  • where do you get the 8 wheel cranes form Wedico

  • The 8 wheel crane (an all the others cranes in my videos) are not from Wedico. They are scratchbuilt models. There is no manufacturer selling these RC cranes.

  • send me the blue prints so i may build one =) i want to build a tamiya leopard tank do you think 1700 dollars is worth it our go to ebay

  • I know nothing about Tamiya tanks,I'm involved only on civilian models, cranes and construction equipments. you are better to ask to somebody else....

  • which is the start of the music video ?thankyou

  • already replied, see below

  • music?

  • were can i get one of those??

  • the cranes are scratchbuilt models. they are not available in the shops.

  • prochaine expo:

Trans Expo 2008, Genève Aeroport (29-30 novembre 2008)

Montreux Modellshow , Monteux Expo Palace (6-7decembre 2008)

  • very cool men i very much like it make more video's of that kind of performans

  • thanks! more video will follow soon :-)

  • pls send me adress of shop.I am very interestig for buying this model

  • see above.the cranes are special models, not available in any shop.

  • hello.my congratulation for your hard work, you are a very passionated man.My desire to you is to help me with some explication regarding the construction the Liebherr LTM 1100 at scale 1:15...same model of yours. Tell me please, where i have to look to find/get the sketches/rams and building parts of the crane model. You said something about - Leimbach Modellbau in Germany. What is this?Do you know if they have an webpage, something to contact them?Pls tell me some informations.

  • many thanks. we use special components made for the cranes. Therefore I don't know wich hydraulic parts are available in the Leimbach product range.

if this is your first hydraulic model, dont choose cranes wich are the most complicate, expensive and hard to build models, definitively only for experienced modellers. one need a CNC mill, welding tools, and many other utensiles. it is better to begin with other RC models, like for exemple trucks , easyer to build and less expensive too.

  • Very nice video. I am a crane operator and perform 2 crane lifts regularly, not easy. Very nice. Keep it up.

  • Thanks! the driver of the small RC crane (Ltm 1030) is also a crane operator, and we always discuss about he's job: certainly not easy but very interesting. This is why we wanted to reproduce this in RC models, they are maybe the most interesting RC models to drive.

    cheers from Switzerland

  • what's the name of these two songs playing? sounds like something from Moby.

Anyways, awesome vid!! i love the way to two cranes teamworked to load that truck. and i love even more is the fact that yall have what looks like a FreightLiner Coronado pulling a European heavy haul trailer!! AWESOME!! automatic 5 stars!!

  • Thanks! yes the song is from Moby, but can't remember the name. The Freightliner Coronado is built on the basis of a Tamiya Truck kit, a Knight Hauler. We are lucky because the swiss Transport Company we are reproducing (Friderici) has owned several US trucks, and this allow us to use some US truck models.

  • nice!! i love seeing American trucks in Europe just as i love seeing Euro trucks in the states. Keep'em come'in yo!

  • That has to be the best rc video on the web that I have seen. The equipment was unbelievable. Thanks for posting.

  • Thank you for this kind comment. it is a work of several years to carry out such a performance with two cranes, therefore I'm glad to know that our work is appreciated

    Greetings from Switzerland

    Konst

    Merci
