  • Atascadero and Santa Margarita are the land of the Mexican/Indians, the Natives like my family and I. Love this whole area!

  • i love morro bay thanks for the vid

  • Morro Bay is a great place. My wife and I stayed at the Marina Street Inn during our honeymoon in 1999.

  • I LOVE Morro Bay. I used to Live in Los Osos, which is about 5 miles south of MB. Every day on my way home from work I would stop at the rock with my windows down and listen to the waves. I miss it.

  • i was 7 when my family moved from california to alabama which is ok but morro bay holds so much memories for me and this video makes me miss it even more. and i am so glad that i get to go visit morro bay this summer.

  • I lived in Los Osos (south bay) in Jr High. A great place with great memories.

  • I visited Morro Bay last week and I have to say what a desapointment: The ugly powerplant next to the bay, the smell of raw sewage, and the herd of people was short of terrible.

  • I live there half time, and it has gone downhill.

But when you live the other half in Visalia, CA, it's no competition. haha

  • @kopac15 Yeah, I was gonna say, what's so beautiful about a place that has 3 tall smoke stacks?????

  • why do you love it so much?

  • Greetings from Germany (look for Lingen)

Morro Bay was the most beautiful village/town which I saw in California last summerholidays. I remember sitting on the balcony - the sun was going down- and listen to the sealions, wonderful!

Ps. In general you can say European Towns are prettier then towns in Northamerica. The checkerboard pattern, wide streets are very ugly I think ( streets in Europe are ca. half as wide).

Guys travel to Europe ; )

  • omg i go there every year i love it there i reall wanna move there

  • rock on morro bay!!

  • *lives in Morro Bay 8DD* yay

    why creepy music.. xD..

  • I hadn't been to Morro Bay in YEARS and when I visited last October, I was shocked to see all of the stores, etc. there. At least there's no Wal-Mart - YET!! Everybody I came in contact with was very friendly, though. I still love it, even though it's waaaaaaaay more "developed" than it was. :( Thanks for the cool video.

  • My hometown! I sure do miss it!

  • meeeeee too.

  • just got back from there. the people seem so nice,a whole other world from my town.

  • I get to look at that every day, I love it!

  • As a child I used to loathe this place. I thought it was so boring growing up there. My friends and I had to 'make do' with what this little town gave as. As a young adult I look back and compare my childhood with my peers' and I realize that my childhood was much more special BECAUSE we didnt have big malls, fancy hang outs, or big-name outlets. I wouldn't have wanted my childhood any other way. Morro Bay is the best damn place in the world, and I love it. Thanks for this video.

  • paladinangelo, well said. It would be an ideal place to grow up IMHO.

    Cheers

  • Thanks for the video. I lived in Los Osos, almost 6 years ago. Love SLO.

  • this video is deap!!

  • i lived in morro bay for a couple years a few years ago. rented a little, teeney house atop that highest peak in morro bay. eagles landing or whatever. had a view of the bay and ocean that was unbelievable. saw about 50 green flashes. morro bay is the funky funk of towns tho.

  • I lived in Morro Bay from 84-88. It was the most carefree time of my life. I was living at the old commune there. Roandoak of God. What an amazing time of my life. I think of Morro Bay often and wish I'd never left. Oh well, memories are good. One day my wife and I will go back for a visit. She says things are never the same. Maybe so, but I can't wait to see it again.

  • My favorite place in the world!!! Does anyone remember that shop that had a whole bunck of wizard of oz stuff and I love lucy stuff... it closed down :(

  • my home....it was a great place when it was unknown, uncontaminated by tourists, when it was a true fishing village. some 30 years ago the terrible transformation started and continues today. i still love it, but don't go into town until the winter when vestiges of the old days are still around.

  • I know what it was like. My family is from Paso Robles and I spent many summers in Morro Bay.

  • xcellent. Vacationed there many times as a kid. I remember coming down highway 41 and seeing Morro Rock come into view and knowing we had arrived. Thanks.

  • My home....nice to see on here!
