I actually thought this was one of the more tame levels - for the most part. Once you get to 6:00 with all the Black Pirahna Plants (Nippers) and the rope, it's pure hell.

I've seen all of Kaizo Mario 1 & 2's levels a year ago, but I'm recently rewatching them. THIS is the level that made me realize that this game isn't just evil... it's pure, devilish evil.

for as brutal as these are, they're incredible in design. it's absolute genius to employ every mannerism of the game engine into a puzzle that can actually be done, albeit by things most people would just never think of. it took a lot of planning and testing to get this thing into such a state, and serious kudos to the guy who made it (and the poor soul who beat it).
