You mention something about using a bobby pin to help guide the string into place. So naturally I tracked down the bobby pins in my house and found a whole pack. Out of frustration with struggling with the first string, I stuck some of those pins over top of the string. I really helped hold the strings down so you could use both hands to fit it to the second tile.

One of my string popped and i need to take it apart. My peices are 3 pieces each (top tile, bottom tile, and paper) instead of one so it's 10x harder.

Thanks for putting this up man, very helpful - i found my old magic in my parent's loft which my science teacher broke about TWENTY YEARS ago, and this helped me fix it!

Two things though - the original magic has the text in the opposite end to the new one, bear this in mind if you're restringing an original using this tutorial - you'll need to turn it upside down. Also, the metal pin may scratch the corners, so you could try using a ribbon instead.

People, yes, at first it is freakin difficult, but after you get use to it it is really easy, i have gotten use to it and i strung myself a blank master magic xD. Thank you for this usefull tutorial.

yes, it's basically fishing line so they have to have something to connect them into a circle. Those are just the connectors.

Or more precisely: all the tiles in the bottom row (when you hold it like you're going to solve it) except for the one to the far right. When they are correctly aligned they form a reverse L shape.

it is IMPORTANT that you take care to do the counter-clockwise wrist turn that he does. this will save you a lot of TIME and FRUSTRATION. i think the wrist turn should be put in the description box. -______-

the tiles keep sliding off of the paper so when I go to grap the next tile (while using like eleven fingers to hold the string tightly), tile comes appart.

The one they have now is easier to put tilse together dont really have to worry about shadows.colors line up

Great vid I couldnt have dont it without you but, when teaching there is no reason to flex your muscles. I got the first 8 then tried the test and more like a look at me moment then help me moment and i couldnt back out was too far. So ty for the help but comon gimme a chance here sheesh i cant follow that, but was alright till then

IMO... Great tutorial. But for me, i was frustrated and just bought a new magic... My problems were the plastic pieces falling from the paper, and the strings undoing themselves. I COULD NOT do the first string.

cube4you sells strings escpecially for magics that are already in loops. You can also using fishing line but i don't know how you would put that in loops.
