  • you have a stupid doctor !

  • I just passed this test and have no pain at all main becomed a little hard and a feeled pain I have gone to the doctor and he used the method as its used there but he said that it can be back again and we should cut it

  • he's pushin air into her!!! MURDERER!!!

  • gloves thank you!

  • this is not the standard of treatment. where the hell does this doctor had her surgical training???

  • Aspiration is only successful in 50% of people. Excision is the better way to go. I have one on my left wrist and im getting it excised soon

  • I have a huge one that's like 2" diameter, deep down in the socket on my right wrist. First one was removed with surgery. I have it again...and I've tried smashing it, but it only makes it ache like crazy and doesn't do anything...

  • ganglion cysts are benign. They are not typically painful unless it's in a location that bends a lot like the wrist, knuckle and tends to be squished or pulled.

I have one from rep. motion but as soon as I left that job and stopped that motion it went away.

Also- it doesn't take much of an air embolism to kill. It can travel to the lungs, heart or brain and cause death very quickly.

  • LOL Where's your Cyst? I told you, the Cyst is on my Wrist....

  • This is just a bad doc.. possibly didnt cut deep enough.. and ALSO WTF is with people un-able to understand how to squeez these things. You have to go wide wround the cyst. Work from the outside in not just squeez the very tip.. I don't get it..People are so unintelligent.. like no common sense

  • had one for 4-5 years...due to the fact that I do not need to type that much anymore, the cyst disappeared.

  • drink vodka for one night, and it shall dissapear

  • saw some asian doctor use a funny prick device for bit zits or cysts and then he just squeezed it out so easily

  • Everything can be cured by a Band-aid :)

  • he doesn't seem the most experienced in this. I popped one on my wrist half an hour ago, it was small, but really painful. I freaked out about it until I figured out what it was. then I very lightly tapped it once with my medical dictionary and it went away. I was really surprised with how little it took to pop, I was poking it with my fingers and all that to try to decipher wtf it could be (it appeared out of nowhere!) but I could have set the book on my wrist and it would have worked!

  • no its not cancer. ive had mine since 17, im 21 now. mines a lot larger than hers though!

  • i got this removed on my ankle a couple years back. Shit looked like strawberry jam!

  • I don't care for the people picking holes in Saosinjg comment. The exact make up of a ganglion cyst is not the issue. The point is that that seemed to aggrevate the site and then stick a plaster on it. I didn't see any fluid removed in the syringe, just a vacuum!!!

  • yeah no shit, instead of descriing the proceedure as you are doing it step by step lets explain the pain apect of it step by step this dude is funny

  • one.two.three.ouch. you will feel burning..burn

  • The camera man breathing like this: hah hah hah hah hah

  • FUCKKK THAT IS A FAT ASS NEEDLE

  • she trained her dog to use a camera. AMAZING

  • why the hell is the camera man breathing like that? oO

  • he is not.. its just a sound inside to room

  • oh shit i think i got one of them on my wrist it randomly came from working out alot in the gym and i hurt my rist and it came up.. oh no..

  • did u get any pain killer perscriptions? because im thinking about getting mine removed

  • I have cyst between my legs :(

  • i've got one too otherwise known as a penis.

  • DAMN you beat me to the punch

  • Sorry, thats probably an STD.

  • your a moron

  • yep just a little stub, nothing more

  • yeah my cyst between the legs is a foot long

  • @poisionho ROFL omg that sucks!

  • @poisionho your referring to your testicles or clitoris? take your pick :)

  • @poisionho u sure they aren't your balls? have em removed any way

  • The only way to remove a cyst is to cut the "sack" out. If you do not remove the entire cyst, it will continue to accumulate the pus. I advise you see a new doctor as the technique did absolutely nothing to help you. That method itself could cause more issues than it solves.

    - Medicine Major with enough experience to know that.

  • @Saosinjg

obviously you didn't learn enough...ganglion cysts aren't full of pus

  • If I were you, I would go back to that university and get your money back! I'm only a paramedic and even I know that ganglion cysts don't have a "sack" and aren't "full of puss" - They contain a fluid similar to synovial fluid, only slightly thicker!

I'm glad you're not my doctor!

  • makes me mad to see doc trying to pop these things. get mad at the thing and karatee chop it like i did. never came back

  • then y did u have to do it 3 times lol jkjk

  • im gettin mine removed tomorrow

  • I had one in the exact same spot and had it removed last week. Doc told me he could drain it but the is a 90percent chance it ould come back and only 10 percent if i had it removed.

  • I had one on the side of my knee

  • Oh wow i have the same thing and now im more afraid to get it removed...X(

  • i have one and it get big keep going away and keep coming back and it hurt all the time

  • I have had my g.cyst for about 3 years now and it keeps bursting and growing back by itself. I have an appointment at the hospital to have it looked at, I really hope they will remove the damned thing.

  • this doctor is an idiot, he duznt seem to know wut hes doing

  • How many times have you had the cyst?? AND I think if it didn't come out that time, you should have totally gotten it surgically removed. I need to go back to the doctor. Mine grew back...again... and it is on my wrist. er.. it hurts....

  • i apparently have a cyst on my eardrum again. ive had one when i was about 6 now im 21. what the hell are these?

  • @Gvanillavodka a ganglion cyst is not the same as the cyst you have. This person has a type of capsule that has formed inside the wrist and has joint fluid inside. I have one too, it feels as if my wrist is badly sprained.

  • mines not painful. it's hard. i've smashed it about 5 times already and it's always come back. can i just leave it like it is? or is it susceptible to cancer?

  • OUCH!!!!!!! I have not heard of a gangloin cyst turning into cancer...not unless there is color to it. But you should have a Dr. look at it and determine if it is indeed a cyst. If it is painful just being there..you should have it checked out too.

  • @onedayillbehisfriend it will NOT progress to cancer. Whacking it with a spoon to break the cyst invites its recurrance. If a ganglion cyst becomes painful or inhibits motion, it should be removed by a physician. If left untreated, it can continue to grow until it does never or compartment damage.

  • At 3:33, could you feel that at all?

  • yes I could feel it, especially if the needle went past the cyst. OUCHIE. But all in all the pain was tolerable with only 3 shots of whiskey. ha ha

  • i have the same thing, it didnt go away when i had it drained the first time

  • are cysts soft-feeling or hard, like a bone?

and are they ALL sticking out like that?

  • most ganglion cyst are soft and can be drained with a needle. Mine just happens to be hard. So it will have to be lanced open and scraped away. Perhaps one or 2 stitches. Yes, they do rise above and stick out........but they attach under and around nerves and muscles and hurt like the dickens and can even cause weakness in the wrist.

  • I have one like yours on my right wrist... seems to be really hard like a bone cause i just didn't care about it for 9 years! the longer the harder right? Thinking of doing some surgery cause i tried to smash it so many times, on the wall, with book, press it so hard but it was really fucking painful....want to try this aspiration but i don't think i will be successful cause my cyst become as hard as my other bones =( any idea?

  • after that long surgery might be the only way to completly remove the cyst i had one on my wrist and the book smashing method worked well but it was only about 4 months old i would consult a dr about surgery not draining

  • i'm not a doctor but when he was pulling and pumping that syringe was that dangerous, i mean if he sucked some air into that syringe and then pumped that air into her wrist couldn't that of been dangerous because injecting air into someone can kill them

  • Air injected into a vein can be dangerous...but it takes a large amount to kill someone. I am sure some air went into my cyst. I know that it has grown even larger since we tryed extracting it. UGH. It needs to be scraped out. OUCH.

  • @uhohletsgo did it ever com back?

  • i got mine removed not squeezed out and polked 50 times with a needle.

  • It is a true story. He said: "Look what I have!" Oh, thanks, mate! Real nice.

The thing was he had a real high threshold for pain, having undergone multiple operations after a crash on his bike at 140mph. He lost most of his intestines in the crash. Tough man.

  • My cousin was a Hell's Angel. He decided to remove his own ganglion with his pocket knife. Mind you, his pocket knife was very sharp!

  • Thats insane if its true haha!

  • I poped my own with a pin. alot came out

  • I had one 3x this size on my wrist. looked like a large grape under my skin. Got sick of it and smashed it with a book. Hurt like HELL, but its gone...

  • i have to get mine taken out in a week

    and i HATE needles!

  • I had this done and it hurt like hell. Didn't work though...

  • what a hack...ive seen better home surgery on here. is that guy really a physician?
