Snow White's Adventures Tokyo Disneyland

Annnnd, for those of you who didn't know, when this attraction opened in Disneyland and Walt Disney World, you, the guest, *were* Snow White, hence why she is not in her attraction. People didn't get it, so the Imagineers stuck a single figure of her in the Dwarfs cottage. This was also the same for Alice, but again people didn't understand that you were supposed to be her. Ironically, guests understand that they're supposed to be Mr. Toad...

Even though I haven't rode it, this looks similar to WDW's version of Snow White's Adventures (I've seen the video on YouTube). Disneyland's version starts off in the Dwarfs' cottage, with the Queen standing outside. Then you ride through the Dwarfs' mine, the Queen's castle/dungeon/lab, the Frightening Forest, past the cottage again with the Hag coming out, and then the finale where the Hag is trying to roll a boulder on you and the Dwarfs.

This is pretty much the original Snow White attraction at Florida (before they changed it to make it less frightening) but apparently people in Japan love being scared so they didn't change it like in Florida.

I had a feeling this ride would be scarier in Japan so when I went with my two siblings, i made sure i sat in the front by myself. i really freaked out during the part with the trees. next time i'm riding by myself.

The dark forest part is more scary than the one from the original ride: the trees roar and look like more monstruos and hideous and there're also evil eyes who weren't in the orginal ride.

I've been on it! I nearly shat myself! I hate the witch in snow white and she was everywhere, always on my side of the cart! I came out hyperventilating and all shaky and little Japanese children started pointing and laughing at me

Dude, scary ride lol I'd be a little freaked out if I was on it....only 1 happy moment through out the ride lol the rest was scary....it was cool though

No, the Witch gets struck by lightning, falls off the cliff and dies, like in the other versions of this ride.

This is the way the ride was originally at WDW in Florida, until they ruined it by making it less scary and adding Snow White in more scenes and a happy ending. Now it's just lame.

Ok, I somewhat hear it now, I don't think that those sounds were the actual HM recordings, just similar. The sound that you are referring to, is used in the Corridor of doors in the HM, right?

Well, the Walt Disney Studio has re-used specific sound effects like that over and over and over and over again countless times in MANY of the cartoons, movies, attractions, TV shows, etc. that they've produced over the years.

I'd say it's a cross between that and DL's post-83 version. Check out the cottage scene, the Witch's apple and the very last scene at the cliff, and you'll see what I mean.
