That is not a kayak. If you notice his paddle only has one blade. And he is on his knees. That makes it alot tougher.

Yes, it's also called a C1 or Canoe 1 person. If a kayak is wide enough it can be changed into a C1 by taking out the seat and adding knee straps so that while you kneel in the boat you can have the same control as a kayak. Very difficult to roll a C1.

First of all, that's a canoe, secondly, it's not just crazy, but also stupid, because you can break the nose of the canoe like that, if you hit bottom.

Why would anybody ever take a composite boat anywhere near moving water or rocks?! You could get hurt! Forget paddling, let's all go do something safe, like stay in bed eating bon-bons.
