  • ah man nato is killing even at a younger age.

  • song and artist please?????

  • @NinjaCasterBoarder Song is Label Me by Dogwood, It's in the Title lol

  • That board doing those sick spin tricks isn't a Timberwolf, is it? o_o

  • Yes it is a TimberWolf. It was the first one we made. Since then we have improved the Torsion Bar.

  • The boards are awesome, ours arrived in time for Christmas and we are getting quite a few people checking them out. The kids are doing really well on them... I'm still trying to work out the hip movement to go up hill! - these videos are very helpful though...their dad broke his wrist trying a stunt on his first day riding lol! ( I shouldn't laugh... )

  • @rmakes03 um it real easy to ride up hill cuz i went town riding before u just have to shift your weight down

  • @coolstuffjr22 thanks, yeah I finally mastered it when the kids bought me a casterboard for Vday... (finally got to ride for more than 5 minutes!) They gave me a Ripstik but I am trying to swap it for one of their Timberwolf boards... they don't think thats a fair deal though ;). The Timberwolf boards are a smoother ride & I have more speed on them too. Turning circles are tighter and the grip is so much better.

  • @rmakes03 coolz

  • @rmakes03 yep this is cool stuff

  • amazing board!!the best board

  • hey sorry if you took offense to those last comments didnt mean any offense by them.

  • I have a ripstik past few months and I just bought a Timberwolf Xtreem on their site. the board is really great, it is lighter and faster. I advise everyone, even my son of 6 years will.

I live in france and I was delivered very quickly

  • just got it. worth the money!

  • The quality can't be emphasized enough, this is a real board not a toy! The casters are faster and smoother than any other board I've ridden. I haven't tried going backwards yet, this will require practice. I did take it to the skatepark this morning and without the Bones Reds it's faster than any ripstick or wave. The torsion bar design is genius in it's simplicity. I'm sure this board will take me to the very limits of my ability!

  • @pdasaro that takes time to get used to

  • dude do you live like in RGV and padre island if you do i live der 2 its fun to skim board and sk8 der 2

  • Harlingen, we go surfin on Padre Island. Brownsville is our fav sk8park in the RGV

  • @Vaportrale yea browntown has short transitions which make it the funest park ive been too

  • hey i just ordered one......if ur good on a ripstick...will i pick this up quick....also how do u spin..in the video it is the 42 second mark with the tiger striped board..is their any way to changee the faceplate of urs...get bacck to me plzzzzz..thanks

  • Thanks for the order. If you can ride a Caster Board you will pick this up quick and then move beyond what you could have ever done before. Spinning takes some time and we are doing a tutorial vid. Simply put put most of your wieght on lead foot, swing your trailing foot around w/hip shoulders and arms. When your trailing foot becomes your lead foot tranfer your weight to continuing the swing motion. No face plate. That is Grip Tape. The board is Maple thru & thru. More designs of grip coming.

  • Any grip tape will work but you need two sheets to cover both decks

  • COOL BOARD

  • Hey man,

    Dizzy flamingo hmmm?

sounds good! that new Timberwolf board

is sick, you can shred the bowls with it.

im lovin the air, 360's and stalls!

  • So I've put about 12km onto my board since I've been back and I'm really impressed. They're sending a set of Bones Redz now and I feel like I've gained another 20% over the default bearings. I would prefer softer wheels as I've had a great deal of skidding on damp surfaces. I'm not so worried about replacing my wheels as I am hurting myself by losing traction.

The 2s downhill are amazing. Just watch out for wet leaves if you're carving hard.

  • wats the song on here called?

  • "Label Me" by Dogwood

  • I got my board last night, and was really impressed by the quality of build. The caster's are very well made and solid. I think they are cast aluminum, but don't quote me. They are much better made than the thin walled bendable caster arms on the other name brand models. You can tell there was a lot of thought in the design. Right off the bat, you notice how much easier this board rides. It has a much smoother, almost effortless feel to it. I rode the #1(speed) lifters for a while....

  • ...but wasn't able to make a switch with the casters. The board is as fast or faster than a Wave, and noticeable lighter when riding. I switched to the #2's, and noticed the board loosen up some. Drifts were more pronounced, and "dancing" became a bit easier, although I still couldn't switch the caster direction. It became evident to me that this is going to require a deliberate attempt at learning how to switch directions. After I rode the #2's for a while, I tried my Wave for a little...

  • @Nosetotail just do a 180 and it will roll backwards

  • ...while, and promptly put it away. It felt like I was trying to push a barge down the sidewalk. I havn't tried the #3(trick) lifters yet, as I want to get used to the 2's to see if I see a difference when I switch. The whole time I rode, the casters would not switch accidently, and it takes a concerted effort to make the switch. They are only an issue when you are first setting the board up to start riding.

Keep in mind with this review, I'm just a 30 something guy who doesn't skate...

  • ...I'm just riding the board for drifts and such to exercise my balance for surfing. The board is much better suited for this type of pavement "dancing" than the box store models, and I'm glad I got one of the first ones. I understand they will be coming out with a #3.5 lifter for even more squirrely riding. I can't wait.

  • I like the idea of the board (and your riding is crazy), but I bought a BladeBoard on the promise of being able to ride switch and was really let down by the build quality and range of motion offered while riding.

Do this board's casters offer the same range of motion as a wave/ripstick and it just "rocks" over when you change the direction of motion or is it something like the blade where the wheel wants to go into switch if you tilt your foot up or down too much?

  • Yes, I was also let down by the way Blade Board was handled. I wanted it to be the next evo in board riding. Unfortunately the company I licensed the idea to did not share my vision and just wanted a cheap getaround of the Korean patent.

The XtreeM is new patent and a better design, its Rock and Roll. and I was able to quality engineer it from start to finish.

It sounds to me that you want an XtreeM with the #1 lifters. There are three different lifters offering a range of performance.

  • The #1 Lifters are built for maximum speed and since the XtreeM is built with high performance lightweight components you can attain faster speeds with less fatigue. It will still switch but it takes more effort than with the #3 lifters which are made for tricks.

be sure to check out our upcoming vid with ollies and kickflips and some more aggresive bowl riding. Thanks for your interest.

    Grab it and Growl,

    TJ

  • I actually ordered one a bit after my friend. I'm really excited to try this out in Prospect Park here in Brooklyn.

  • I just saw this comment after I posted my other comment. I can't wait to get mine.

  • I actually got it today (thanks USPS for being too lazy to walk the box the 4 blocks from the office to my apartment and delaying the delivery) and of course it's ugly outside, but I did try it a bit right out of the box and it is as you say. The motion is as fluid as a wave or ripstik and yet the casters spin. I've yet to do anything interesting besides manualing over a crack (much easier than with my wave) so it's not an in depth impression but it's entirely positive.

  • First off, the weight - it feels half as heavy as a wave - maybe less. It feels lighter than a ripstik to me.

The speed is pretty incredible, honestly. The first time I got on it was on wet concrete and I was able to zip around. I'm sure with some more time with the board, I'll be even faster. BTW this was with the #1 risers.

I'll need to spend a day or two with it to come up with full impressions, and sadly that'll have to wait until after my vacation next week.

  • Rode to the store to get some hex keys to switch to the #2s and the ride down the sidewalks and streets in potholed brooklyn was one of the smoothest rides I've had yet. I can't wait to get this to a park with some nice hills.

If you like casterboarding, you'll fall in love with this board. I can't imagine someone not. With the 1s it's a smoother ride than the blade, wave, or ripstik. Then you have the option of the 2s and 3s which I'm dying to try out.

  • macbony...I'm feeling your concern. I was wondering the same thing. You're wondering if the rocking mechanism is going to be a pain and flip when you don't want it to. I ordered one for it's drift and spin advantages over the other makes, so hopefully I'll be able to give a review about this.

  • I can't wait til you get it and see your review. Actually Nathaniel can full tilt powerslide to a hockey stop (1:32 of this vid). It's only when he shifts his weight to the front while he continues the spin past 90 degrees that the switch (rock) happens. The only time the rocker is a pain is when you are pushing off at the beginning you need to make sure the wheels are trailing in regard to the direction you are heading. But you'll get the hang of that soon

  • @macbony it handles great

  • Hey Vaportrale, I missed the final minutes of the auction. I was stuck in a bucket truck for several hours on a trouble call. I hope you put another one up with the same package.

  • 0:40 looks like south padre island and 0:46 looks like harlingens boys and girls club skatepark?

  • thats right, other locations are Brownsville, Corpus Christi and SMP in Shanghai

  • Dude isn't that just a ripstick but with a skateboard's deck??? BTW nice skills.

  • it is so much more. Check out the beginning, You can see the caster rock from one side to the other. This is what makes it bidirectional. The orange thing under the rocker is high rebound urethane. way better feeling than solid attachment. The torsion bar is not metal tube. Has hitech polymer and fiberglass. The whole thing has serious POP. Bones bearings. Awesome Grip tape 80 grit. If a Harley is a bicycle, this is a ripstik.

  • Oh Yea. That orange thing is changable to modify performance. 3 sizes so far. #1 lifters for aggressive speed. #3 Lifters for easier Spins and drifts (dancing). #2 is multipurpose.

  • @idancelikesouljaboy nope different

  • !WOW!

  • cool but i would not ride it like to use it for my main skateboard but i would ride it for fun!

  • thanx for not being a hater. you might even like it more if you rode it awhile. we havnt even come close to finding all the trix that can be done on this board. it is alot of fun and i like the pioneer aspect.

  • Lots of energy in this one. the board looks awesome haha i love orange!

  • hey kid, your better than you were a few months ago. keep it up.
