Do you use Photoshop? I don't think you do, if you don't understand how much work went into these. I'm not saying they were amazing, but you sure couldn't recreate any of them, or make something better, for that matter.

thats the meaning of the contest they participants take an original image and they try to adjust into their own one... the more creative and well done is the winner :)

hi i created a website layout in photoshop then exported it to dreamweaver when i preveiw it in dreamweaver with the web it dont shw the images all it has is a blue box with a question mark what should i do to fix it

no the 3rd one is not epic. The shadows are wrong image is lacking depth. That planet closet to us must be insanely massive and really far away for it to look that big.

The top-right planet is wrong c'mon how can you not see that the light should be at least hitting the other side.

The rock the 'things it don't know what' are standing on has a shadow at the front, the front that's where the 'star' is! And the angle of the star and the brightness of the far away planets planets means that the sunny side of everything should be blindingly bright.

And the horizon just looks burned.

@KantraScepter It's just a more cartoony style of picture. I think it's gorgeous. Maybe the lighting's off a tad but it doesn't take away from a lovely piece of work. You probably don't like it because it doesn't look real, but to a trained eye, it's a very effective image. :)
