Why do people say WoW lost its touch? I think it's an excuse for "I've never played it but I'm going to try to make it look like I've played it by complementing its past!" People said WotLK sucked because it was new, now people are saying it was the best times of WoW. Then when MoP comes out people are going to miss Cata and so on...
Sorry but runescape all the way. And this is coming from someone who's played WoW for a year. First of all WoW is a waste of money, but you all know that. WoW has so many problems that I decided to quit. Class imbalance, heirlooms advantage, professions becoming useless. Class imbalance is the problem they've had since vanilla, and it is never fixed. Class is OP then becomes nerfed and weaker than the rest, other classes have clear advantages. Now I hate WoW, runescape is awesome now.

I don't HATE Runescape. The graphics are good, considering it's flash (could use a download client though). The community is the same playerbase as WoW, and I guess both games have their pros and cons. However, I vouch for WoW because Runescape's combat is VERY boring, and even Member's Runescape doesn't have as many features. I have played both, and they're both ok. I wouldn't pay for Runescape though. WoW is worth the money and an hour of my time most days.

WoW combat you have alot of spells to manage. the only time your clicking is to use them. and most people use keybinds instead of clicking anyways. not to mention you have to move alot (especialy with dungeon/raid bosses and PvP) while in runescape, your literally just clicking. Sure there are spells but you have to like "keybind" a spell to your attacking, so instead of attacking with your weapon you use spells.

Using the mouse barely matters, I barely used the mouse when I tried out Kitsu, yet spamming the hotkeys made the game almost unbearable. Same goes for that game, and the hundreds of games like it.

ive played both wow and runescape both are fun games in diferent ways like wow quests vs runescape quests there is no contest but wow graffics is 50x better than runescape graffics. the wow pvp is better because u dont get dragon claw speced as soon as u run in to the wild and it suks tht u lose all your stuff. wow is a bit more expensive than runescape. one of the big things i like bout runescape is that u dont have one set class like a mage can only use magic u can lvl anyhting u want in rs

From someone who has played many MMORPG games including both WoW > RS
WoW has some grinding in some areas involved, but there are 3 differences; the place, the amount, and the reward.
In RS, you generally sit at the same place and do the exact same mindless action over and over and over. In WoW, you have Battlegrounds and large raids that keep it fresh.
In RS, EVERYTHING is basically a grind. From combat to "skills, it is. Not the case in WoW.
In RS, your reward for a shit ton of grinding is a cape. In WoW, its for much, much better things.
Runescape skills?fishing? wait for half an hour till you're inventory gets full, walk to a stove, wait 3 mins for it to cook, store in bank repeat. only fun thing i remeber was the market. buying and selling stuff but even that got boring. quests are ok but once you finsh them then what? Ummm no not really. If you actually pay attention and read you realize that the quests have a storyline and a reason. You lack an attention span and you never really max out in WoW considering you play to get to 80 and raid to have fun and play with friends. And in WoW you actually need skill to pvp not just click your opponent and watch and occasionally clicking potions and food... Also less grinding? You do realize that Runescape is an endless grind right?
1. The max level in WoW matches the situation for RS. The level cap increases as a new combat skill comes out for RS, much like for each expansion for WoW.
The Max level in RS is 138, as the WoW level is 80. Even at level 100+, you can play RS for fun, and even lower-leveled players have fun in RS (level 50 pures).
2. Actually, I said the grinding is about the same, only difference is not all is required to have fun.
3. Where does this misconception come from that just sitting there and watching the fight makes you a good PvPer? I've done that long ago (and sometimes even now), and I find that clearly does not win the fight.
If you don't think it takes skill in RS combat, I would gladly show you a level 50 account that has taken on (and defeated) level 100+s in F2P Fist of Guthix.
Honestly, only time food is any good is F2P Deathmatch, and potions still should be used wisely.
How old are you? And umm so in PvP youre still just clicking stuff? Barely any movement at all..Barely any strategy to the whole game. The whole game just consists of you clicking a monster the WHOLE game. Not to mention clicking the trees. WoW actually requires you to go and actually use each spell you have separately which requires more skill and makes the game fun. A game that is challenging is way more fun than a game that is not challenging at all. I played RS 2 man.
The funny thing is, you say there is no strategy involved, yet the kind of strategy you say there is in RS combat (click and stare), would get you PWNT in any form of PvP in the game.
Take it from someone who actually plays RS, the whole "click and stare" will not help you. In fact, I'd hope you would do that if we ever went against each other, just so that you made the match easier for me.
Another funny thing is that youre lying to yourself. The whole fight youre just clicking on pots and food and prayers ofc which only require the skill to use your mouse. Barely any skill at all. When you hit puberty and get some money you may be able to play games worth playing. Yeah, I've seen a level 138 take out a clan of 120+s. It was pretty awesome to watch, and it was in the Free-For-All Portal.
A level 54 friend of mine even beat a 120 in Fist of Guthix, using the best brid gear and techniques there are. Of course, the 54 has a main, which goes to show that you still need the skill....
So you are trying to say that someone who played RS years ago for a small time, now knows the whole combat system than someone who is playing and has played since around 04.
Just so you know, the whole "click to fight and click food" won't help you. I've seen plenty of lower-leveled players take out high-leveled players with more skill than would be in the hotkey spam that is WoW.
Free feel to try your method in RS, all I ask is how many times you lose.

Runescape's community consist mainly of immature kids and teenagers. This shows up for example in PKing, the only fun thing in runescape, and those immature kids and teenagers make the fun to turn in a full-scale firefight of whether your momma is fat or not. Just my opinion though, do not quote me for this.
In WoW, the quests really piss me off, as they are like 'kill seven tigers and ten boars' and so on. In runescape, the makers have used brains to make them be good. They all have storylines, and some of those quest even relatye to the main storyline of RS, and you get to know more about it. Now for the story, storyline of RS is kinda boring, although not bad. WoW's story is more in-depth but still it's imho not good. Average. The community is where WoW really shines, and where runescape sucks.
Did you mean that WoW has thoudand of crappy quests? True. In RS.. i've never saw or heard of a crappy quest with just killing ten tigers and seven boars.
@TheRoopeKonna I meant there are thousands of fun quests in wow but not in the starting area you have to be like lvl 10 to have some fun quests and it get funnier the higher lvl you are, you get more attacks and better armour. in rs every1 has the same armour and you just hit one person by clicking on it and you don't have to do a shit
The quest are always the same in WoW. Kill some creatures. Deliver message to X place. Do a fucking annoying quest related to storyline. The only fun quests are the ones related to a dungeon, for example the one you get after you've completed the defias brotherhood dungeon (you get a message sent to the head of defias), and you get to the prison dungeon. With a party they are funny as hell. Alone.. they are too hard. WoW quests are generally generic crap.
Give me five examples of FUNNY, GOOD quests in WoW which are not 'investigate X dungeon and kill X creatures', 'kill X creatures', deliver message to X place', etc etc. quests.
@TheRoopeKonna jump on a dragon and drop bombs on structures or mobs don't know what the quest is called but whatever... and one quest you jump up on a tank and drive and pick up people who can sabotauge something and shoot down mobs on the ground while you drive and tell them when to jump of etc etc. set fire on those structures... investigate who killed those people by interrigating people that where there and find clues. can't use anymore words so I'll make another text

I don't HATE Runescape. The graphics are good, considering it's flash (could use a download client though). The community is the same playerbase as WoW, and I guess both games have their pros and cons. However, I vouch for WoW because Runescape's combat is VERY boring, and even Member's Runescape doesn't have as many features. I have played both, and they're both ok. I wouldn't pay for Runescape though. WoW is worth the money and an hour of my time most days.

WoW combat you have alot of spells to manage. the only time your clicking is to use them. and most people use keybinds instead of clicking anyways. not to mention you have to move alot (especialy with dungeon/raid bosses and PvP) while in runescape, your literally just clicking. Sure there are spells but you have to like "keybind" a spell to your attacking, so instead of attacking with your weapon you use spells.

Real ID was still considered by the Blzzard staff, which shows their stupidity. It was canceled maybe like 2-3 months ago? I remember it was within this year, and within the middle-later months of the year.

ive played both wow and runescape both are fun games in diferent ways like wow quests vs runescape quests there is no contest but wow graffics is 50x better than runescape graffics. the wow pvp is better because u dont get dragon claw speced as soon as u run in to the wild and it suks tht u lose all your stuff. wow is a bit more expensive than runescape. one of the big things i like bout runescape is that u dont have one set class like a mage can only use magic u can lvl anyhting u want in rs

WoW has some grinding in some areas involved, but there are 3 differences; the place, the amount, and the reward.
In RS, you generally sit at the same place and do the exact same mindless action over and over and over. In WoW, you have Battlegrounds and large raids that keep it fresh.
In RS, EVERYTHING is basically a grind. From combat to "skills, it is. Not the case in WoW.
In RS, your reward for a shit ton of grinding is a cape. In WoW, its for much, much better things.

RS Quests have story, less-grinding, and require thinking outside-of-the-box rather than with your sword.

Ummm no not really. If you actually pay attention and read you realize that the quests have a storyline and a reason. You lack an attention span and you never really max out in WoW considering you play to get to 80 and raid to have fun and play with friends. And in WoW you actually need skill to pvp not just click your opponent and watch and occasionally clicking potions and food... Also less grinding? You do realize that Runescape is an endless grind right?

1. The max level in WoW matches the situation for RS. The level cap increases as a new combat skill comes out for RS, much like for each expansion for WoW.
The Max level in RS is 138, as the WoW level is 80. Even at level 100+, you can play RS for fun, and even lower-leveled players have fun in RS (level 50 pures).
2. Actually, I said the grinding is about the same, only difference is not all is required to have fun.

3. Where does this misconception come from that just sitting there and watching the fight makes you a good PvPer? I've done that long ago (and sometimes even now), and I find that clearly does not win the fight.
If you don't think it takes skill in RS combat, I would gladly show you a level 50 account that has taken on (and defeated) level 100+s in F2P Fist of Guthix.
Honestly, only time food is any good is F2P Deathmatch, and potions still should be used wisely.

How old are you? And umm so in PvP youre still just clicking stuff? Barely any movement at all..Barely any strategy to the whole game. The whole game just consists of you clicking a monster the WHOLE game. Not to mention clicking the trees. WoW actually requires you to go and actually use each spell you have separately which requires more skill and makes the game fun. A game that is challenging is way more fun than a game that is not challenging at all. I played RS 2 man.

The funny thing is, you say there is no strategy involved, yet the kind of strategy you say there is in RS combat (click and stare), would get you PWNT in any form of PvP in the game.
Take it from someone who actually plays RS, the whole "click and stare" will not help you. In fact, I'd hope you would do that if we ever went against each other, just so that you made the match easier for me.

Another funny thing is that youre lying to yourself. The whole fight youre just clicking on pots and food and prayers ofc which only require the skill to use your mouse. Barely any skill at all. When you hit puberty and get some money you may be able to play games worth playing. I understand how a 9 year old thinks and i guess the game can be fun for a 9 year old but when you grow up youll get over this pile of shit you call a game.

Yeah, I've seen a level 138 take out a clan of 120+s. It was pretty awesome to watch, and it was in the Free-For-All Portal.
A level 54 friend of mine even beat a 120 in Fist of Guthix, using the best brid gear and techniques there are. Of course, the 54 has a main, which goes to show that you still need the skill....

So you are trying to say that someone who played RS years ago for a small time, now knows the whole combat system than someone who is playing and has played since around 04.
Just so you know, the whole "click to fight and click food" won't help you. I've seen plenty of lower-leveled players take out high-leveled players with more skill than would be in the hotkey spam that is WoW.
Free feel to try your method in RS, all I ask is how many times you lose.

Are you going to say the same thing over and over again? First of all i didnt play for a small time...i actually played for a good bit til i hit puberty and grew up and was able to afford a better game. ive already said this. And youre in denial right now because technically you are clicking on food pots and prayers and thats all. Nothing else to it unless youre using magic which is 2 or 3 extra clicks no big deal. Grow up kid. Get a better computer...Get a better game.

Tell me how long you've been playing then and what level your main account was.
I can easily tell you that your theory that RS barely requires clicks to win at PvP, is an outright lie or in your case, misinformed claim.
You probably think that whoever is the higher level will always win. Or you probably thought that until I just posted this comment.
Good luck with that RS strategy, you would be dying plenty of times if you actually used it.

ROFL i never said higher lvl wins. I said its just click your enemy click your prayers click your food and pots. no more to it. I have no idea how long i played it lets see maybe 3-5 years b4 i hit puberty like ive said before. My main was level 122 i think. kthxbai

Actually, I mentioned that lower levels can win (easily) because they have the skill it take to out PvP higher leveled players.
There is more to PvP than you think. I'm going to guess you haven't played since atleast 5 years? Otherwards, that would make you 17 or younger ("I haven't played RS since puberty").
My main is level 129, but mostly a skiller.

Runescape's community consist mainly of immature kids and teenagers. This shows up for example in PKing, the only fun thing in runescape, and those immature kids and teenagers make the fun to turn in a full-scale firefight of whether your momma is fat or not. Just my opinion though, do not quote me for this.

In WoW, the quests really piss me off, as they are like 'kill seven tigers and ten boars' and so on. In runescape, the makers have used brains to make them be good. They all have storylines, and some of those quest even relatye to the main storyline of RS, and you get to know more about it. Now for the story, storyline of RS is kinda boring, although not bad. WoW's story is more in-depth but still it's imho not good. Average. The community is where WoW really shines, and where runescape sucks.

@TheRoopeKonna I meant there are thousands of fun quests in wow but not in the starting area you have to be like lvl 10 to have some fun quests and it get funnier the higher lvl you are, you get more attacks and better armour. in rs every1 has the same armour and you just hit one person by clicking on it and you don't have to do a shit

The quest are always the same in WoW. Kill some creatures. Deliver message to X place. Do a fucking annoying quest related to storyline. The only fun quests are the ones related to a dungeon, for example the one you get after you've completed the defias brotherhood dungeon (you get a message sent to the head of defias), and you get to the prison dungeon. With a party they are funny as hell. Alone.. they are too hard. WoW quests are generally generic crap.

Give me five examples of FUNNY, GOOD quests in WoW which are not 'investigate X dungeon and kill X creatures', 'kill X creatures', deliver message to X place', etc etc. quests.

@TheRoopeKonna jump on a dragon and drop bombs on structures or mobs don't know what the quest is called but whatever... and one quest you jump up on a tank and drive and pick up people who can sabotauge something and shoot down mobs on the ground while you drive and tell them when to jump of etc etc. set fire on those structures... investigate who killed those people by interrigating people that where there and find clues. can't use anymore words so I'll make another text
