It doesn't really matter if Tye cheated on his wife or not, the word is the word. Right is right and it ain't never wronged nobody. Tye slipped, but let me tell you the real difference I see between Tye and others in the public eye; 1) Tye repented publicly, 2) Tye stayed with his wife, 3) he is transparent about the ill mindset he had during his time of disobedience, 4) teaching others to stray from that same activity. Check out Psalm 51. He almost followed David's pattern to a T.
AMEN! We as a people need to understand & absorb the word of God. There is truth in what was said. For those who have made comments regarding his infidelity I'm sure many of us would not be so quick to speak if our faults were made public. We must not focus on men but on the anointing of God. I don't believe it is a coincidence that some of Jesus closest followers were people with "a past". If we were all so "good" we wouldn't need Him in the first place.
since Pres. Obama is so outraged over "faux" homophobia in [the] Black community & Black churches, why does he so ardently seek and assume their electoral support on every opportunity ? Since it outrages him so, perhaps in order to allow him to maintain his character & integrity, the "Black Community" should offer it's objectionable, homophobic support to a more reasonable and balanced candidate come 2012- just a very short time from now ! Is there any other group he snubs more than Blacks ??

Wonder if Bro Tye Tribbett was thinking about the order when he was committing adultry in his life. Therefore, non of us have a right to judge or make people feel oppressed. Thank God for his forgiveness and grace
Let's not wait for destruction for God to cause Order. Let read the bible and see where we can learn from others experience and not fall like those that have weeknesses.
