Ceantaur Head Hammer has the same sharpness and more raw - no defense bonus though. High Rank Cean can be accessed at HR5.

...Though having Onslaught as well is a good idea since you'll be able to upgrade it into better hammers @ HR7-8.

tigrex is annoying enough using a hammer WITH armour on, and i imagine it took a hell load of tries to do dual g rank tigrex NAKED! insane work here you are easily one of the best monster hunters around.

Tigrex is funny because you can use the strategy applied for another weapon without having too much troubles. In this video I just use the strategy I normally use with GS and in my other naked tiga video I use DS with the strategy I use with Katanas (actually I use it with katana while the stagger limit is high). I didn't train a lot "Tiga's Hammering" before making this video.

ok this might be a huge noob question but i really don't know how to jump or "dive". do you roll when you're about to get hit? how does it work exactly?

You have to roll while "running crazy". When you run with R facing any direction that is not the direction of the wyvern/dragon/monster/etc and you press Circle, you'll dive. Sometimes diving makes you loose too much time so you may want to release R before to press O in order to roll instead of diving.

There's a skill called Felyne Heroics. When you're HP are below 10, you gain a huge attack buff (150% of normal attack). And btw, I don't die because I don't get it. Lolz.

Because of the Stagger Limit I guess, but since it doesn't take 1 hit to stag, the difficulty is nearly the same. Also the clear time would be quite the same: you don't have to care about being hit by the tail and being more aggressive. Actually, without Felyne Heroics is funnier because you have to use more (and with Tigrex is very easy) the stagger limit and you can be more aggressive. Btw, with Felyne Heroics I was pretty sure to kill both Tigrex within 10 minutes, but I failed lol.

I tried it a few times (3 or 4) without recording, but I recorded it only once (if I had the time and the will to record it a few times, I wouldn't let the shitty final: I can do this quest in 8-9 minutes. Actually, I didn't play very well in this video... not enough aggressive). The PSP I used to record it wasn't even mine.

I borrowed it from a friend just for an afternoon because mine isn't slim. It's not that hard to get rid of charges. If you don't believe me, just ask to anyone who played with me on kai and he'll tell you that I play naked most of the time, also with dual tigrex.

It's the Onslaught Hammer (1092 atk). Start with War Hammer, War Hammer+, War Mace, Iron Striker, Iron Striker+, Anvil Hammer, Martello d'assalto.

You'll need a total of:

159 Iron Ore

7 Disc Stone

18 Earth Crystal

13 Machalite Ore

35 Dragonite Ore

5 Union Ore

2 Gravios Shell

In this video I also used Felyne Heroics, a skill that greatly increase the attack (150%) when the HP are below 11.
