I always like the argument from Iowa fans that Nebraska fans always focuses on the past. Dude, you guys are in the Big Ten. The conference is full of teams talk about the past. We are coming up on a decade since a Big Ten team has won an NC. Ohio State did it in 02, and Nebraska and Michigan did it in 97. It has been a dry spell to say the least, yet we constantly hear about the tradition of the Big Ten. I think there should be some looking in the mirror before bitching.

This is pretty good and im a Husker fan. Of course, we love to talk about how great it was. But I don't see us rolling in the Big 10 and coming close to winning it the first year. And i definitely don't blame the loss on the refs in that one, clearly one second left. :D Being a Husker though, I always hear about how awful Iowa fans are. In fact, besides the 2002 Orange bowl, I haven't seen a Kirk Ferentz team not show up and perform in there bowl game, win or lose. I'm pretty happy with how we perform in bowls, its the big regular season games we couldn't seem to pull out this past year.

I always like the argument from Iowa fans that Nebraska fans always focuses on the past. Dude, you guys are in the Big Ten. The conference is full of teams talk about the past. We are coming up on a decade since a Big Ten team has won an NC. Ohio State did it in 02, and Nebraska and Michigan did it in 97. It has been a dry spell to say the least, yet we constantly hear about the tradition of the Big Ten. I think there should be some looking in the mirror before bitching.

This is pretty good and im a Husker fan. Of course, we love to talk about how great it was. But I don't see us rolling in the Big 10 and coming close to winning it the first year. And i definitely don't blame the loss on the refs in that one, clearly one second left. :D Being a Husker though, I always hear about how awful Iowa fans are. Never had my chance to see for myself, so ill be looking forward to it next year!

In fact, besides the 2002 Orange bowl, I haven't seen a Kirk Ferentz team not show up and perform in there bowl game, win or lose. I'm pretty happy with how we perform in bowls, its the big regular season games we couldn't seem to pull out this past year.
