The interpretation and application of the Constitution can only be considered in the context of status. We are held to the position on which we stand. i.e., the status you claim determines the manner in which law applies to you. Most claim to be "U.S. Citizens"(14th Amndt) without any inkling of what that status really means. They see things happen that appear to oppose "their" constitution and they cry and they try in vain to vote back rights that simply don't apply to them.
