John Conlee is great, that's a fact; however, I couldn't imagine anybody doing it better than Stoney. I'm trying to find a late 70's, or early 80's song by Stoney, titled "Reverend Leroy."
I now know for a fact that John Conlee released it first...he wrote it and recorded it in 1978 after his first 2 releases went no where on the charts. So Stoney couldn't have recorded this song before John Conlee.

Anybody know where I can find it?
Thanks!

I would have to say that John Conlee had it out first. His big hit was in 1978. Stoney released it on his 1981 "No Way To Back Down A Memory" LP
