I hear you but that's what killed early UFC to begin with. It wasn't a match of warriors, it was a brawl fest. Politicians (like McCain) began attacking it and Giuliani wouldn't allow UFC shows in NYC, they began to lose sponsors and went belly-up. That's when you had most fighters go to Japan and fight in K1 and PRIDE.

MMA is a beautiful sport and owes a lot to early UFC but in my book it's head and shoulders better than ol' UFC.
