can some one tell me if they still build them like they use to in the 80's?I hope they do couse I hv two 325 2.7 1987 great cars, and I may think of up grading....to a 2009.....bmw pls sm one w/ knoledg for engines....
I've owned several old BMWs, my current one being a black 1989 e30 318i coupe which has been marvellous. However my favourite car ever owned was an e28 520i - it had more character than anything I've ever driven. Superb car, absolutely loved it. Fantastic engines in those old things.

Don't even think about buying a modern car. Even Mercedes and BMW's are crap nowadays.

e38 is not bad, resembles e34, but brand new bmw are not classic. They are ugly and look like american instead of german.
