i watched this video on history channel when it came out.it proved these people were nothing but wannabe cherokees.i am osage/omaha and live in okla..i see this everyday at my job at the cherokee trading post.this video proved they were not native.i have watched rods videos on haplo group x and totally believe them.i cant believe he would put these wannabes on his page

I would expect the same respect from an Osage not to speak about Cherokee when they are not Cherokee. @educheny: Guess you have no studies on this topic past your own TV lead assumptions. If you did any research on the Eastern Cherokee you would easily realize they are of Hebrew decent. The language is an older form of Hebrew, they worship the same Creator, YHWH, they have the same feasts as scripture, even the same blue tassels. Not to mention numerous stone items, songs, chants and stories. The Cherokee were the Tsalagi who were the Kit'Yowah, "those from Creator YHWH".
