I think you ignored two important things: Achilles is completely invulnerable aside from his ankle, however Achilles is only willing to fight if he knows he will get something valuable out of it, and he's just as willing to get his own men killed as the enemy.
There are many reasons to why Achilles would win. Leonidus needs his army to back him up, Achilles is a one-man army! And Achilles was known to be immortal, but If Leonidus knew about the heel, which is vulnerable, then he'd have a chance. But other than that, Achilles takes the win!

REASON 1 ) leonidas fought untrained persians, thats like givin you guys swords and asking you to attck leonidas, you wouldnt stand a chance. whereas achilles fought trained greek soldiers. REASON 2) achilles is clearly much quicker and more skillfull. at the scene at the beach he kills 15+ soldiers in less than 50 seconds( and they arent coming for him 1 at once) enough said.

Hey, keep it simple! Keep the "mythology" out of the spartans and Achilles. Achilles was a badass in real life, without the myhtical invulnerability, which was added after he died. Leonidas was badass too, but if it were Leo VS Ach, Achilles would pwn his ass all the way. Achilles is a one man show, Leo needs his men. If all 300 spartans were to take Achilles, they may win, but you best believe Achilles would kill more than his share no matter what! Achilles wins, loner all the way.

As bad ass as the spartans were (and still are) my vote would have to go to Achilles. Achilles owned more mo fos in his life single handedly, and a lot of them were top dogs. Leonidas had someone at his side all the time, and the spartans ALL worked with a "team" oriented technique, Achilles owned people, "especially" when they ganged up on him

I think you ignored two important things: Achilles is completely invulnerable aside from his ankle, however Achilles is only willing to fight if he knows he will get something valuable out of it, and he's just as willing to get his own men killed as the enemy.

Based simply on the movie characters, I think Achilles would win in a one on one fight. Hands down. However, Leonidas is very smart. In a complicated environment I think Leonidas might have a chance. He could use his surroundings to his advantage like he did as a kid against that wolf thing. He may also take advantage of Achiles' over confidence. Still though, slim chance at beating Achilles.
