@EllieBellyNet ty for the fast replay :D I wanna start playing this game but I don't really know how the bishop class works :( I know you are a buffer but can you heal or resurrect? Can you lvl up solo by doing quests or farming monsters or the Bishop class is too weak to use it as a nuker and you have to lvl up with someone? And, did you play on the official servers or on a private one?

Bishop is main healer of lineage world, buffs that he has are minor, there is about 2-3 buffs you need to give to your pt, but in same time if you farm solo in iquisitor mode, enough to keep you going on self buffs. So, all in all bishop/cardinal is first healer, then buffer. As for lvlup you can do it in all 3 ways you named, that mostly depend on server you play at. I play on private free server, cant say how retail is, here lower lvl (78-) ppl dont have much option but solo farm.

I played on official. Bishops were healers, not buffers, and they had rez and mass rez and all the best heals. You could not level up doing quests, unless they were the few Pailakas that gave a lot of exp. At this point you could solo with Inquisitor stance, but during the time I played it was nearly impossible to solo, I leveled entirely by groups. On official at this point, the heals bishops had are no longer unique either, and the other healers can steal most of them.

No, L2 has no legal add-ons unfortunately. There are no frames like in WoW. You cannot (normally without cheats) see anyone elses health, so there has to be one healer per group. Granted bots can heal whoever they are set up to do, but it's not like HealBot, it's an illegal automated healer that does preprogrammed tasks.

As for the loot usually it's whoever has rights to it (does the most damage or whatever) and picks it up the fastest, but generally in big raids someone is designated to pick it up and everyone else SHOULD stay away. It's stupid compared to wow loot, let me tell you.

I really like L2, however NCSoft began to simply ruin their own game by implementing more and more stupid crap regarding skills, balance (i.e. disbalance), items and so on. At this point, private servers with _clever_ admins, who know what's bad and what's good, are somehow better than retail servers.

Hast4656, be realist, what's the point of lineage 2 ? Leveling, hunting, get equips, go to pvp, pk, mass pvp's and castle siege. Really, Hast4656, if you play on retail, you can see that. Why ? The farmers is the main fact of NA servers are PVP. They work 24/7 to get materials, recipes and many things to selling on town. You can see like a gmshop, not equal, but you understand the point.
