  • racism is the colour of war. Its a terrible thing thats happening in Manchester. Someone needs to say no to it, its fanatasicm and self destructive. If you like the green party is the completse opposite.

  • i think people can walk to work or ride a bike. How many of the rich elite would fuck off if we did that? transportation of fuel? electricity can be generated organically like food can be made. Without pollution we would have a happier place to live. I believe that the structure of business would need to change. Reduce the amount of hours a person can work, therefore reducing profit levels but maximizing employment.

  • They are a bunch of joke. Man will burn all the oil on earth, man will burn all the gas and probably most of the coal. Get over it you dicks, your silly tree hug bandits will never be able to stop this. Remember, if we don't burn it here, China will burn it there, and get all the benefits.

  • @MilibandDavid then their economy collapses with lack of power and our renewable energy carries on going.

  • @MilibandDavid And then when China burn it all, we will have the infrastructure to carry on as normal, whereas they will have to make changes when it's too late. Better to be prepared.

  • HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry the green party just make me laugh, honestly the green party have equal prowess and political sense and knowledge as BNP for the opposite on the spectrum.

  • srz for the repeat post ^^

  • the world debt its the banks major bank that create that too... cos their is no such thing as debt , the banks made that up to keep people working, because you obviously need a job to pay your debt...the banks did this for control... I could go on and on... please watch this insightful documentary to under whats is going on... type in: Zeitgeist: Moving Forward on youtube... and prepare to be shocked at the precision of this corruption..

  • It seems that the green party is fighting an uphill struggle, just like all the other parties that try to blame, and point fingers, trying to come up with the solution to this recession ... all i can say is when it come to money politicians have no control what so ever.... At the end of the day its the banks that control everything, as it the banks that create money, its the banks that control inflation and deflation, and it them that are printing the money. And if you want to talk about debt

  • who put this animation together? I'm basing my dissertation on political design and if anyone could give me any pointers as to who made this animation it would be a huuuuge help. thank you.

  • Oh, also - take back ALL the money and property from the banksters and corporate CEOs who stole it from the public in the first place to pay for all this.

But, if that's too anti-libertarian for you, then

just print as much money as possible but GIVE IT ONLY TO ALL THE POOR PEOPLE UNTIL EVERYBODY HAS EXACTLY THE SAME AMOUNT. Boom!

    Problem of wealth inequity solved.

  • Both humans and non-humans (stray cats and dogs) need to be required to be castrated to cut down overpopulation of both. Mandate vasectomies for human men. Outlaw breeding of animals for meat.

These are the kinds of big projects governments should fund.

  • Every country in the world needs to, by law, build as many solar and wind farms as possible, outlaw the production of oil-powered vehicles, mandate all vehicles be electric except for the few (boats, airplanes, farm equipment) which technologically cannot be powered any other way, and mandate research and production of algae-based biofuels.

Only then should maybe 1 or 2 nuclear plants be left on the planet, where nuclear scientists can go for research.

  • @mphello

Anything LESS than a radical overhaul of our energy system is NOT and SHOULD not be part of any Green party platform for ANY Green party in ANY country.

If I lived in the EU, I would vote Animals Count party.

  • @mphello superb comment :) totally agree

  • Look at Germany, they will stop all nuclear power plants by 2022. Did you read it? ALL nuclear power plants will die by 2022. The UK can do the same. Uranium reserves are estimated to last for about 50 to 60 years only, not to mention the dangerous for life in all its forms. Greens are 11% of the parliament in Germany. In Australia they got 10% of the votes last year. In Brazil Marina Silva had 20% of the votes (19.5 million votes) for president and they almost elected Mockus in Colombia.

  • @alfaceandrice Yes, but Germany uses lots of coal preduction!! They're getting RID of nuclear plants and building 26 NEW coal plants to compensate (something that's very controversial)... is that a green party policy then? Build new coal plants?

  • @Udany147 *production

  • @Udany147 Well, the decision of building this coal plants were made in 2007. By shutting down the nuclear power plants Germany will loose 13% of its generation capacity. This will be covered with renewable energy sources. All informations about Germany using non-renewable energy to REPLACE nuclear power is speculation. This is controversial, but the first step has been achieved, now the second step: the greens needs to fight against the plan of building these coal plants.

  • The Greens are against Nuclear Power last time I checked, which is just ridiculous you can't run a countries power on carbon free emissions without Nuclear Power. They also want to reduce speed limits to a snails pace. Vote UKIP.

  • we want help for English dogs with a subsidised neutering scheme stop needless destruction of our best friends in council pounds where they get 7 days if lucky,u give £0 to animals, we want this to change, A licence scheme for £100 but only £10 if dog is neutered/microchipped, also illegal to sell dogs for money unless a registered breeder an pay tax.much longer jail 4 those involved in dog fighting, 80% go onto sexually abuse children, the same control an abuse mentality as a paedophile.

  • @eastlondongeeezeeer I don't believe in longer prison sentences for anything, frankly. If there's already a law in place and it gets enforced, good.

There are just a MILLION OTHER human activities that need to be outlawed. Stock market trades should be taxed, hence, a law to put a stock market trader into prison for not paying that tax. Meat and having kids should be outlawed. So prison sentences for anti-vegans and breeders.

  • @eastlondongeeezeeer

Laws are already tough or too tough for one thing but unjustly non-existent for another.

Absolutely agree with you on the need for an aggressive spay-neuter program by the government.

Outlaw the dog and cat breeders entirely. Put them in prison.

Of course, same goes for human breeders, too!

  • Move to the US and vote Ron Paul

  • @toberses11

    I concur

  • Trust me england, from having a green party in government here in Ireland, it's overrated. They do sod all. Or maybe thats just all Irish politicians for you.

  • I'd still rather vote for Liberal Democrats, even though they are doing a bad job at the moment.

  • Yeah the Green party can afford to "be different" and say what the fuck they like because they know they'll never be tested on it in a position of power. Look at the Lib dems. They did it to a lesser extent, somehow got into a position of some power, and are now fucked for years.

  • @RobertNicholls How would they be "tested" on it? You mean assholes who would refuse to obey the laws passed by the Greens? Then the Greens would and should simply get MORE aggressive and use the military and every bit of force that all the other parties have used. However, this time, instead of using force for evil, to uphold inequalities and unjust laws, force would be used to reverse inequalities and maintain equalities and just laws.

  • lol i thought this was canada cause the colours were the same.... im dumb

  • I really do wish The Green Party would be more left libertarian and not so socialist. My worry's are with their Nuclear deterrent policy and open immigration policy, seems very nieve to think if we throw muslims and Jews together somehow they will just get along. Doesn't work like that, they should have a more relaxed approach than labour and conservatives but still open boarders you sure??? They need to use some common sense, otherwise they will not get anywhere near the top 3 parties.

  • The Green Party: because even Liberal Democrats need a protest vote now.

  • Investing in renewable energy? And where's this money going to come from? I'm sorry Mrs Lucas but money doesn't grow on trees. Invest that non-money in more state owned businesses instead, that will create jobs... and lower taxes.

  • random queston is the green party still for the legalization of sweet leaf?

  • @themagooglizor Yes they are!

  • I'm voting Green!

  • @cdashkid123

For the majority of poor people it's not their fault that their poor. Why would not help them? If you were to lose all your money and home, parents and family, would you want some dumbass like yourself to want you dead? You obviously don't have a high IQ, because I'd you did you'd wouldn't be so stupid to not recognize the suffering in the world while you sit on your fat ass and troll videos. You're a terrible human being.

  • @2bpilot YEAAAY, higher taxes, more immigration, no growth in the economy and more big goverment.

  • I'n 2015 I'm going to vote GREEN!!!!

  • 2014/15 i will vote gpew

  • ALRIGHT! I'm the 30,000th VIEWER!

  • im voting for green party!

  • They all Promise the world and diliver Fuck all look at all the broken promises the Lib Dems made. Its one thing in a broadcast but once they are in power God knows it a whole diffrent ball game.

  • I would support them fully were it not for their position on out nuclear deterrent. It's imperative that we keep it, and not only for defence reasons.

  • @01000001011100100111 Yeah that policy worries me too. Smacks of naivety I'm afraid.

  • @01000001011100100111

they would definetley keep it if they took power and reality kicked in, they couldnt be that stupid if they were actually in that position.

and on the other hand if they actually did who cares? the other issues are of much more importance in the longrun then the ability for our country to go down fighting at the end of the world

  • @01000001011100100111 Yes, that certainly is wishful thinking.

  • Comment removed

  • @01000001011100100111 what other reason is there but defence?

  • @JayEey The nuclear deterrent guarantees a weight to our diplomacy that nothing else really can. Our place on the security council is dependant on it. There's a reason France excretes far more influence around the world than Germany, and it has very little to do with economics. In fact defence is one of the least important reasons we should keep our nukes. It's not like we would ever use them anyway.

  • @01000001011100100111

May want to keep a few nukes around in case of an asteroid.

  • @2bpilot I am congratulating you on the accuracy of your observation. I did not intend to convey anything beyond that.

I just couldn't help it. Your analysis is compelling...

Welfare state capitalism is in fact socialism... I didn't realize the Green Party supported Marxist economics until you spelled it out, those crazy hippies trying to sprinkle their glitter around my town. I'll kick their commie faces off. boom.

  • @2bpilot Yea man totally, state capitalism is socialism. Good observation. Social welfare state = Marxist economics. You know your stuff. Keep spreading the knowledge baby. boom.

  • i wouldnt vote for this party. Bankers like my daddy work very hard and deserve their bonuses. Poor people deserve to be poor, i dont even like to say the word poor i just think poor people are disgusting, clearly too stupid to realise they should spend money on private school rather than baseball caps, chains and drugs. Besides, bankers are good for the economy whereas poor people abuse thee benefit system. I think we shouldnt have a benefit system, rich people deserve that money instead

  • @cdashkid123 I really hope that was meant as a parody of a moron.

  • @adef49099 Not at all! Why am i paying taxes which cover benefits for poor, non hard working people with low IQs. Thats their fault. I have a high IQ and I want high income and low tax to match. Luckily my parents bought me up in an area where there was no poor people. Otherwise I might of been demonised by their liberal views, not to mentioned I might of caught something. If they cant get a job to pay for their basic living conditions, tough, let them die. Thats my view. i owe them nothing.

  • @cdashkid123 NIce try, but I'm not buying it sorry, I've seen your posting history and you're clearly on a wind up. Nobody is that dim!

  • a green party that barley talks about green issues in there Election Broadcast god dam socialists

  • @2bpilot

    - And that's a good thing.

  • BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Anyone who wants to know what is really going on in the world needs to read The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, it was written in the 1800s at the latest and they have followed it to the letter.

  • @stepheng1483 Damn straight man. Also Albert Pikes letter on the 3 world wars written over a century ago.

  • @stepheng1483

"read The Protocols of the Elders of Zion"

Seriously man? ughh... cmon. Stop trying to spread that anti-Semitic conspiracy bullshit you delusional prick. The Protocols has about as much factual substance as the Old Testament.

  • @InvertedFox Then how has everything in them happened, to the letter? It is absolutely obvious by now they are true.

Anyone who wants to know what is really going on in the world needs to read The Protocols of the Elders of Zion for themselves, don't take anyone else's word for it either way. It is easily accessible online for free.

  • importing illegals is prof evil capitalism can not survive without slave labor and needs to grind the wages of working people down via illegals.

  • I doubt the green party would go communist, they are very socialist but imagine what it would take to become fully communist?

I don't think I want them as leaders, but I would love for them to have a significantly influential amount of seats.

  • @adawilkes1 Absolutely.

  • @doomsword86 For medical reasons yes, Hey its a start.

  • you get my (first) 2015 vote

  • When i become 18 which is 21st march 2011 IM VOTING GREEN PART FOR THE NEXT GENERAL ELECTION

YOUR THE ONLY PARTY WHO IS FAIR AND CARES FOR THE ENVIRONMENT !!!

  • This is a great party election broadcast. Probably the best in this election

  • nice accent!

  • @doomsword86 Yes!! The Green Party affiliate in the US is certainly in favor of legalizing cannabis.

  • This is all very fluffy but when comes to proper issues such as energy and defense they fall flat on thier arse. Infact all I'm hearing is hot air

  • @RealReferendumNow

I think id prefer single transferable vote system

  • Got My Vote 2015

  • Next Gen Election I will not vote Red, or indeed Blue or Yellow(blue) . my last hope is with green. But can they get the seats?

  • @ThatKidKnows nope.

  • @2bpilot :D

  • For real change, don't vote red or blue. Vote green!

  • @2bpilot Don't think that's too bad.

  • BRAVO! I applaud the list of SPECFIC laws that you - the Green Party of the UK - support (or oppose)! Totally different from the political ad campaigns in the USA.

  • A reasonably designed system of ranking various candidates on ballots according to hierarchy of preference, a method of "instant run-off," so to speak, would prove tremendously helpful to the Green Party in the USA, and would probably lead to a respectable performance in virtually every state of the union. Are any elections in the United Kingdom conducted in such a way?

  • @MrMacintosh2011 Your speaking English, Badly i must say but its still English. We have much to be proud of. what do you have in America, constant warmongering, killing innocent people, torturing innocent people, treating smaller country's like shit?, also learn to spell, and write a full sentence in the right order. When you have half as much as the British to be proud of come back and mouth off because i am sure, it will be no time soon.

  • @pickyantivirus dear chap i am so sorry that i said such mean words i was just no in the happy land at the time and good day

  • I didn't know the Brits could vote in the U. S.

  • the green party! cause we've mastered clever clay-mation!

  • Is it fair that a child born into a family in poverty should suffer the same lower quality of life as their parents? The child hasn't had a life to work hard in, yet they still have the lower quality of life. Is this fair? Hardly. Afterall, a child is a metaphorical "blank canvas", whos norms and values are determined through socialisation. Would a "blank canvas" in art be treated in a different way to the next in the pile? No. So why should any child have a different quality of life from birth?

  • Vote Green for equality :)

  • rofl commie noobs

  • @RigoKellerColas

We do have a green party...

  • I live in the US. At least you guys even have a third choice.

  • @RigoKellerColas or fourth

  • @RigoKellerColas we do have a green party

  • @RigoKellerColas there are a lot of green party candidates running in the states . Riich Whitney is running for Governor in Illinois.

  • more socialist bull thats gotten Europe in the hole

  • @masterevilalex01 More capitalist ignorance that's landed America in the dump.

  • @masterevilalex01 It was actually sub-prime lending in the US financial services that "got europe in the hole"...

  • unless the whole world goes green thres no point at all,all the greens will do is finish our industry off completely

  • Im sorry but i would never vote for a party that want unlimited immigration and to legalize dangerous drugs

  • YOU MAKE UP THIS SHIP AS YOU GO...

  • One of the most boring ads ever.

  • @omnix321 I really hope you don't vote if all you care about is the flash rather than the message!

  • @Arodinme6 voting is compulsary - unfortunately this means you get a vote too.

If it's the message you want to vocus on, then try this is:

One of the most boring messages ever.

  • @omnix321 I'm not sure how unfortunate it may be that I get a vote when it can be used to counter the stupidity of another voter who judges on the basis of whether something is boring or not.

  • Is Labor REALLY Greens. Or are Greens REALLY Labor. One gets so mixed up these days.

  • Fact if Australia did not have a mining industry Labor and the Greens would not even be on the political landscape at all.

  • alp and the green are like a never ending episode of neighbours

  • In a way we need the Greens in the middle to keep the major parties in check. The Greens are the closest thing we have to a 'young party': Because they haven't been out there in the real world (in power), they are still highly idealistic with a very strong sense of justice. If they came to power however, they would just become all corrupt and power-hungry because that is just the nature of humans. So, Party, just stay where you are and retain your conscience.

  • Ironic that a ballot cast for the environmentally keen green party is a waste of paper. That poor tree.

    But seriously, they're all right.

  • Sorry I couldn't vote for you... Not because I didn't want to, but because your name was not on the ballot...

No representation for me where I live...

  • The gay president elected in the region Puglia, considered a consevative and catholic region of the South of Italy, Nichi Vendola, have shocked Italy. The party created by youngs is called Left Ecology and freedom and it was sponosred with facebook!

  • Green Party=Communist part

I come from China and I know what communism is.

    Wake up British.

  • @jaimephysique bullshit, communist party of china is a totalitarian nightmare, green party is built on liberty and open-ness. Not on Maoism.

  • @BVargas78 the greens only appeal to gucchi socialists living comfortably in the cities

  • @nibblez1222 can one not be living comfortably and still want a better lot for the common man, for society?

  • @BVargas78 It is nice to have dreams. Real political parties have to be able to run a real economy. Real Police, Firemen and Nurses have to be paid real money in the real world.

  • @nibblez1222 our economies were more real before we entered this era of globalisation where speculative wealth on the stock markets is king. This latest recession is partly due to the realisation that the growth of the last decade was largely built on an illusion.

  • @BVargas78 Liberty? they are anti gun and self defence and class pepper spay and tazers (both legitimate weapons for nothing but self defence un like a gun which can kill) as lethal weapons they want to scap the only thing that makes people give a shit about what england says trident, the libertarians are a better option less government spending on unesisary things but protecting all our rights even the most important ones like the rights to defend our own bodies and true free speach

  • @jaimephysique Don't worry in my constituency they got like 700 votes they're not going anywhere for a very very long time if indeed ever

  • @jaimephysique It's socialism.. Basically a watered down version, there are lots of public services that are cheaper than private, but you still have the option to go private.

  • Road to better climate: godbye to the capitalist sysytem...

  • raging lefties :/

  • @Oneandoneself whatever, i didnt see any raging

  • @Oneandoneself Raging racist nazi.

  • i am an unofficial US green (we have a green party too). i won't pay 35 bucks for a wallet card.

  • You think they are good. Even worse.

  • Whats 6 foot tall and deluded? A respect party activist. It is true, they would like to immediately withdraw troops from Afghanistan for silly reasons, reasons so silly that it seems like they almost just want to help the taliban.

  • @letseatpeas We will be in Afghanistan for years. And for what? It's costing us billions of pounds. Billions that we don't have. Also, what protests that Caroline Lucas has participated in were illegal?

  • @PrivetAyeUK She participated in illegal nuclear arms protests. Silly girl. We will be in Afghanistan to maintain safety here in our country, and even if it costs billions its better than experiencing another 7/7 tragedy. By withdrawing troops from Afghanistan you will allow terrorist organisations to operate without restriciction, allowing an increase in terrorist activities. Therefore it is essential to keep our presence in Afghanistan so that we save the lives of innocent people living here.

  • @letseatpeas 7/7 occurred whilst we were in Afghanistan. The bombers were from Yorkshire not Kabul. Also, your argument is based on an incorrect assumption. Terrorists are operating in Afghanistan & increasing their activities whilst we are still their! Our presence is pointless. We are engaged in nation building & it will bankrupt us.

  • The green party really need to inject some common sense into their party. They all follow a leader who participated in illegal protests, who is also desperate for a voice in parliament and who makes policies that define stupidity very well. I looked at their policies and a lot of it is junk, like axing nuclear missiles as well as cutting military budgets, and trying to persuade britons to become vegetarian. The only green aspect of parliament should be the colour of the seats.

  • Everywhere I look, and everywhere I go, I see signs of a new era: the world is getting back its green smile. It is definetly our only way to the future: thinking and acting like little parts of the nature: that means the word: green.

  • green's a bad colour

  • I stopped playing with blocks in 1973.

  • I stopped playing with blocks in 1973.

  • The green party is a joke.

  • loads more money for pensioners, no means tests, no NHS cuts....sounds great.

I don't suppose there will be any problems finding all the money

  • the Green party are what's best for this country. They are right, change is a good idea right now - the other parities haven't done us much good have they?!

  • Aww...

Its like an innocent smoothie advert. Full of happy healthy stuff.

Great, but the reality is the Greens would put this country back in the dark ages.

  • @SteamboatWilley

The dark ages? And you say that with a name like 'Steam Boat Willey'.

  • @oakleaman As far as I'm aware, they didn't have steamboats in the dark ages. Only sailing and rowing boats!

The Greens are dead set against nuclear and fossil fuel power. "Renewables" don't generate nearly enough electricity for our needs. We need to build new nuclear power stations if we are to keep our current standard of living.

  • Vote for this lot and kiss your car goodbye. they won't be happy 'till we are all wearing sandals and rearing goats. I have nothing against goats, but i'd like to see one pulling a 20ton semi trailer up the m1.

  • yay! im not old enough to vote but i got 3 members of my family to vote green party and i made posters to stick in my window! :)

  • yaayayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy green partyy :)

  • As a French I doesn't understand all, but it's a great cilp ! congratulation !

  • how FUCKING PATRANIZING!

  • i've been receiving endless liberal democrat leaflets and letters through the letterbox, in the past week and a half i've counted 23. and they're all leaflets i've been sent 4 or 5 times already

  • i contacted the lib dems last week to ask them if there was a postal mistake and to ask them to stop sending me stuff. they said there was no mistake but that they would stop. since then there's been another 5 glossy one-sided leaflets and 4 letters. it's outrageous, they claim to be concerned with environmental issues and nature yet they're using paper indiscriminately for their own political gains.

  • Who are you not voting for? Check my profile out to make the final decision :)

  • To Jail with Credit Crunch Bankers!

  • On the Political Compass website, it shows where they place the parties. The Respect and Green parites look the best while Labour is actually to the right along with the Conservatives. I'm from the US and am in awe at how well the Conservatives are doing. If they do well you guys are screwed.

  • 'If you have a Green Party, I would like to join it!' - Dalai Lama
